La Tavola in Adur

We enjoyed our first visit to La Tavola. A bit tucked away but plenty of parking and great food served by lovely staff Bruschetta and olives followed by seafood risotto and chicken with a mushroom & white wine sauce; lastly a crème brûlée to finish. Presentation was really outstanding, especially the risotto. Drinks are a tiny bit expensive but in line with typical restaurant prices. The room was a bit warm and I didn’t see any aircon but luckily we were seated by a window - worth thinking about in summer months. In summary, a really good family run restaurant which is well worth a visit. NB: approached via outside steps - I’m unsure if there is any disabled access.

I visited this restaurant lunchtime with my cousin for lunch. We had a nice glass of wine each and then two pasta dishes and a mixed salad. I was very impressed with the decor and the service from the lovely Elsa. The food was excellent and I will definately be visiting again.

I was particularly invested in trying this restaurant and in coming to this restaurant as I have a very close relationship with the previous owners of the bar before. However, it was a pleasure to visit as the food was amazing and service felt really special and personalised and it was a great feeling to be able to enjoy such great food with great staff. Thank you for treating me and my family and I would certainly like to visit again in future.

I had my 60th birthday here. Table of 15. The food was excellent, all meals came out on time and piping hot. The service was also exellent, such friendly staff. Thanks for making it such a special night.

I went out with family to La Tavola, the moment we stepped foot inside we felt very welcomed. We got seated to our table and they looked after us very well although it was very busy. We got our food, which was very tasty and well presented. I would recommend coming here, very close to us, amazing chef and staff, drinks and scenery, i’ll be definitely coming back! Thank you to all the staff for making us feel very welcomed

Dined here on Saturday evening when staying in Brighton for the weekend - what a fabulous little place!! Quite tucked out of the way and would not have noticed it walking past so a very lucky find!! Food was fab, I was looking forward to a nice Italian meal and there was a great menu to choose from. Dessert was especially good and the waitresses were smiling and friendly despite it being a rather warm night and as the restaurant is upstairs it did feel quite warm up there. Would 100% recommend and revisit if in the area again

This was my second time in this restaurant and I always enjoy being here. The food is the best you can find in the area and the service is outstanding.

Booked a table with family 3 weeks before. When we arrived was offered bar stools in a tight corner. When I advised not suitable was told we will have to wait but couldn't advise how long. Lady's attitude was rude and didn't seem bothered also people were coming in where she was directing them to tables! Due to this and the restaurant being noisy and hot we decided to leave. Having been at this restaurant few times before we will never step foot in it again, They are trying to cram to many people in and can't cope.

Heard good things about this little gem,so decided to try for ourselves.Was really impressed, busy early Friday evening.Friendly welcome and very efficient service,drinks and food arrived very prompt and didn’t disappoint.Will certainly return again soon and would happily recommend to others.Good quality food at a fair price.

Fantastic pizzas and a pasta special with seafood for a family celebration. We ate early so the restaurant was quiet to begin with but soon filled with a variety of groups giving the place a lovely atmosphere.

Beyond expectation just beautiful food excellent service 5 stars the waitress very attentive and friendly always smiling even the place was packed,the best filled steak I had in a while hats of to the chefs in kitchen,,don't usually like to write a review but you really deserve 10 ⭐ thanks again to all la tavola family
