This was the second time getting Pizza here and it is absolutely delicious. Will definitely be ordering from here again

Pepperoni, bacon and chicken pizza and chips. Absolutely delicious. Reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone.

Ordered 2 large pizzas for a party - lasted 5 minutes - should have ordered more. Absolutely delicious and freshly made with quality ingredients.

Would not recommend anyone to use this establishment very rude individual behind the counter was told to go to the chippy around the corner if we wanted burger and chips even though it was advertised on their menu

This pizza is amazing. We started coming here last year and we’ve been hooked ever since! Tastes just like the pizza i get on holiday in italy! We travel from Saintfield to get it, it’s that good! The chips are to die for. The owner of la pizza Mia always has the best customer service and it is clear he is such a hard worker- keep up the good work!

Called in here during the week for the first time and got a pizza ( Mushroom & olive) and a cheesy chip. Pizza was the best I have ever tasted and cheesy chip was delicious. Best pizza place in Ballynahinch . Will definitely make this my regular place.

Want authentic Italian pizza without the cost of going to Italy? Try Pizza Mia. Toni is a real Italian bloke, from Naples. He makes the pizza dough himself, no bought in nonsense here. Tasty pizzas, reasonably priced made by a Neapoliton. Take home some cheesy garlic bread to start. My mouth is watering just typing that last sentence!

Antonio makes hands down the best pizza for miles around. Fair prices and all of his ingredients are delicious. Give it a try & I guarantee you'll be back.

The pizza is excellent and proper Italian pizza. It is also very reasonably priced and makes for a cheap meal that feeds all the family. The owner is a very friendly chatty man who takes pride in his food. I’ve only tried the pizza so I can’t comment on anything else on the menu.

It was to be a long trip with no time to wait so I phoned ahead. Without sight of a menu I and the proprietor arrived and roughly what I wished for. Wondering how my scant guidance may have be interpreted to Italian thinking I threw caution to the wind. It was pizza afterall. Well this was so much more. Prepared and cooked to perfect with not a scant hand to the inclusions all my dinners were so impressed. Thank you for some wonderful not so fast delicious food

A reasonably new place, takeaway only. Really pleased with the food, all the ingredients are fresh and really tasty...vegetables and meat. It’s step up from basic pizza, much more authentic. Staff are very pleasant to, price is a bargain for the quality, give it a go!

I LOVE Pizza's and Tony's are absolutely the best, full of flavour and cooked to perfection, never had a bad food out of there yet since he opened! So lucky to have him here in Ballynahinch!

Genial, auténtica comida italiana. Raciones generosas, si a veces un poco demasiado generoso pero que comer porque es deliciosa. El chef es un tío encantador, muy amable y no corbata clientes para menús. Es casi a la carta que es magnífico. Y muy razonable precios también. Recomiendo una visita.

Food freshly prepared and very tasty, best pizza for miles around. Definitely worth a visit. We had th bolanese pizza which was great. They appear to be open all day and night breakfast, dinner etc...give it a go.

Passing through Ballynahinch 2day & spotted kids with pizza boxes so went on a mission 2 find out where they got them. Found the shop opposite the fire station. Staff was very friendly and the pizza was the best I've ever tasted. I ordered the "mighty meat" and by god it was mighty. I'm a greedy s*** and couldn't finish it in 1 go. Being a butcher by trade the meat toppings were of the highest of quality, for the mountain of toppings it was NOT 1 bit greasy. Being hygiene trained i observed the chef prepare the food. Everything was done by the book and the shop was clean. I highly recommend this place as the price is low for the amount and quality of the food. I live 40 miles from this shop and I guarantee next time I want pizza I'll be going there because it's worth the drive.

Having family from Chicago..who know good pizza..I can truly say this place comes as close to the best I have ever had

Heard a few people saying this place was nice so thought I'd give it a try. First of all, the man who owned the place was very abrupt when taking my order and kept shouting at the staff which which was inappropriate. The pizza was substandard and chips were as hard as the road. Will not be in a hurry back.

Saturday night with friends and family can only mean one thing, takeaway! Hands down this is the best pizza place I've been to, brilliant pizzas but don't stop there, the pasta dishes are amazing! Cannot recommend highly enough!

At a glance this little shop seemed something I could pass by, but my attention was caught by one thing; the scent of a master chef's finest work.I went into the shop, it is a cozy place, with pictures of Sicily on the walls. I ordered a 12 inch Capri Pizza, and to my surprise a Television turned on, allowing me to watch the chef work. I had never seen that before.He would talk to me as the pizza cooked, and he told me that he has 35 years of experience as a Sicilian Pizza Maker. When my order came out, I sat down at the table with high expectations.I have never been more satisfied...The first thing was the excellent smell, that delectable aroma that only great pizzas have. I noticed that he placed the meat under the cheese, which as all great pizza makers know is the only proper way to prepare it. It was divine!I have traveled 5000 miles to experience Europe, and in all the flavors I have been privileged to sample, this man's pizzeria has fully captured my attention. I will return to Portaferry in the future, and if more people come to know this man's great pizza, when I return he will be the richest man in town.

We can't recommended this place enough! Me and fiancée jump on this for 'treat day' and with this place it seems that treat day is becoming more often! Gorgeous pizza's! Going to try the pasta next! Chips are gorgeous! Never had take away chips like them! Seriously cannot fault it! We travel 11 miles to La Pizza Mia and I can safely say worth the trip! Seeya next treat day!! Happy days pizza Mia I love this pizza shop. I travel 7 miles to get pizza once a week for treat night with the missus. All ways fresh by far the best takeaway within portaferry. Staff our allways friendly polite and the chef u can tell is a passionate man when it comes to food. God he talks about food alot lol

I'm genuinely surprised at the standard of food produced from this tiny little shop in Portaferry. So much so that I feel the need to write about a takeaway on trip advisor. Credit where credit is due. This guy knows his stuff and it's possibly the best pizza I've had in the country. Freshly prepared an you can watch your order taking shape on the TV. Kitchen looks spotless how it should be. I'll certainly be back.

La Pizza Mia care about food, and it is always a pleasure to return.There is a large selection of pizza with meaty toppings which appeal to most takeaway goers. The owner, Antonio, listens to his customers and is eager to please.As a regular, I appreciate the fact that special requests are taken on board, with Antonio bending over backwards to cater for my tastes. Top marks for tailoring my pizza with anchovies, The best surprise was that Antonio adorned the pizza with basil leaves, which I love; very Napolitan. I look forward to the arrival of the wood-fired oven, to further enhance the authentic taste of pizza in Portaferry.I have to say, I also like the chips at La Pizza Mia, and thought it was fun to watch the team on a TV screen while they peel potatoes for your chips, freshly cooked to order.

This is the very best puzza that me and my wife have ever had as we drive down to portaferry from portavogie once a week or so freshly made for by a great Italian who im told is getting a wood burning oven from italy to make it even more authentic try it I think you will love as we do

This is a great spot for pizza and pasta - the fresh pasta in particular is really good! Friendly service, and you can watch everything going on in the kitchen while you wait. Great quality and a nice change from all the fish and chip shops in town

BUT you couldn't pass these ones! I haven't been in La Pizza Mia (someone else goes for them) but I've heard nothing but good reports about the friendly owners and the cleanliness of this new takeaway. No need to go anywhere else!!

Delicious food, very reasonably priced. Wide selection to suit any taste bud. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended. 5* cuisine. Extremely clean. Hats off to the chef!!!! You can actually watch as he prepares your food via TV screen. Hugely entertaining for the kids!

I must say I really enjoy a good pizza and this is the place to go. It's the only place I know where you can get a proper Italian pizza. The place is so clean and the owners have nothing to hide. When you go in, there is a tv screen on the left hand side and you can see in the kitchen where your food gets made and prepared. The chef is Italian and knows how to make a proper pizza. The prices are far less than the likes of pizza hut dominos and lonestar but I would gladly pay extra. I feel like I am paying less for better quality. The best place I've been to ever.
