Little Wing in Ards

Booked a pizza making party for my son's 6th birthday and it was brilliant. The kids had the full run of the place, including the climbing frame in the garden. Tara and Connor were great with the kids (and adults). Everyone had great fun and parents commented that it was a great idea. I also thought it was very reasonably priced considering the kids all got a full kids meal with breadsticks to start, pizza and ice cream. We had one wee boy who doesnt like pizza and they were able to give him a portion of pasta instead. We brought cake and pass the parcel.

Very enjoyable pizzas seem to be more like the genuine Italian ones. Not like dominoes or pizza hut which are more than adequate but more like factory manufactured.

The pizza was amazing gluten free base just £1.50 extra really tasty compared to the last time we had a gluten free base from dominos and that was stinking so it gets a big thumbs up for us

Price increase! Portion Decrease! Been going to little wing since it opened in Ballyhackamore! I appreciate prices are going up everywhere but reducing portions are taking a mick! So as a starter we always got a ceaser salad without croutons and a pizza, now the starter is a side salad, so technically not a starter! We got a skinny pizza which is skinnier than I've ever seen, almost like filo pastry skinny! Impossible to lift so a knife and fork is essential and who eats pizza with cutlery..... I'll attach pics to show difference in salad and the skinny pizza!

Asked if I could have bottled water that hadn't been in the fridge. I was bought a cold bottle and glass of ice. Lovely pizza but felt the price is a bit steep. A few selections of vegan pizza available, but with no dessert or hot drinks available it seems like half a job on the menu. We left to get coffee elsewhere. A code is needed to access the toilets - I wish I'd have known this prior to trying to open the door and looking like an idiot in front of my date. A nice place, but improvements need to be made. We came here because the Happy Cow app said it was good for vegans. Needs work for sure!

Old Bank in Newtownards Sq gives a good atmosphere with the high ceilings. Expect £10-20 per person and enjoy the usual good pizza cooked fresh in customers view. Staff work well and a manager always seems to be there each evening.. a nice place to visit.

Yes, it's a chain of restaurants but every single branch delivers exactly the same quality pizza. The ingredients are top notch and always have been. Definitely the best pizza around.

The pizza was soo good, even the kids finished theirs. Service was a bit slow and we had to actively seek a waiter out to order dessert.

An absolutely excellent experience - the food, atmosphere and staff are excellent and between Sunday- Thursday students get 20% off which helps massively.

Service and atmosphere is good my pizza could have been warmer and was quite bland.

Excellent lunch time offer.A small pizza of choice with chicken caesar salad, plus a little cup of delicious Minestrone soup for a very decent price. Staff very pleasant and attentive. Brought food quickly plus all condiments including grated parmesan . Overall, a very pleasant quick lunch for me as a sole customer .Definitely my go to again when in that vicinity !Great.

Had bruscetta and pollo pizza. Wife had ceasar and calzone (salami), both as part of 2 course menu deal available Sunday to Wed for 16.99. Includes drink. Food served warm, service satisfactory and had no complaints.

Called in for lunch and had to wait on a table but only for 10 minutes or so bang on lunchtime, so I expected it. Pizzas are amazing! Thanks to all the staff, you were helpful and attentive. The atmosphere was pleasant, and they made room for our pram beside our table.

We saw the reviews for the 24'' pizza and ofc had to try it. Amazing. One of best ones. Unfortunately we were not able to finish it. Only two pieces left! But OMG. Definetly recommend 😁😁😁

Friendly staff, good service and tasty food, great for lunch

This was my first visit to little wing in Newtownards. The staff were friendly and we got a decent table. The restaurant layout is pretty good. The food was really good and arrived without having to wait too long.

The calzonie pizza was nice, but found the menu very limited. Nice place for lunch , service was great but it was really quiet when we were there ( 14.30 PM).

Very quiet Sunday afternoon apart from the music, which intruded on the conversation a bit. Service is very good, not a lot of diners, so the atmosphere was quiet apart from the 60s/70s rock.

Little Wings are always dependable. Great pizzas, pleasant and friendly staff, good desserts and fine coffee. Ards is as good as any other and we had a very pleasant and unrushed meal with old friends here. 👍😀

Best pizza restaurant, Italian oven baked..... Just add parmezan and a little bit garlic oil or chilli oil... You are in pizza's heaven.

Had the gluten free pizza was very nice!! Would recommend for that reason. Priced well and do some lovely deals at lunch.

Been to Bangor branch many many times over the years. Visited Newtownards branch this weekend with party of 4. Arrived just before 2 p.m. and left at 3.05 p.m still not served. Two family's that came in after us were served first and the staff prioritized oven space and time for walk-ins and online orders, leaving dinners in the restaurant second. I counted at least 5 orders that went out ahead of my order. Other families where clearly frustrated and tables where openly talking about the delays and how this had been their experience the last few times. Really poor, when we followed up at 3:00 they told us our pizza's where next to go in oven at this point, they had lots of take-out backorders to get through, we'd had enough by that point and left after paying for our drinks. This branch seems to lack any management.

Service with a smile is a no go here now Food so slow and mediocre at best This place used to be good but has definitely declined

Here visiting Ballygowan with our friends who live here. Loads of places to eat and drink in this area. Great deal in Little Wing, pizza and a beer is well worth the money, pizza was very good. Nice decor.

Noticed the Newtownards and bangor shops stayed opened serving drinks and food throughout the morning services of the funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth, disgusted and they will never see a penny from my pocket. God save the king.

Ordered a 24inch pizza for takeaway with 2 separate toppings on either half and the total price was £37...even though you can buy 2 separate 12inch pizzas with same toppings for £24 according to menu prices and most expensive pizza on menu is £26. They said price was because there was 2 separate toppings on the same pizza base. Scandalous price for a pizza. Safe to say we'll not be back!!! There's much nicer pizzas availible in Newtownards at a much more reasonable cost.

Super dinner, good choice, lovely staff

Went for my wife’s birthday dinner thinking a Monday evening would be relatively quite…We were there by 6:30, ordered food after only five minutes but waited almost 45 minutes for our food to be served. No explanation, no apology. The food was the usual good quality and the deserts came much quicker. All in all, not the usual experience we have come to enjoy plus it was very noisy, so stifled our conversation. Not the best birthday treat after all.

Little wing has gone down hill over the years. 9 pizzas and not one of us enjoyed it all agreeing that it was not as good as when they first started out. Would not pay that amount again 🙄 disappointed 😒

Decided to treat my son and myself once a week. That’s £100/month better off in my pocket. I’m a regular for years and never had a bad meal. Waited 40 mins for my pizza at the Newtownard’s branch. Even the table that arrived after me and ordered later was half way through their dinner. Will never be back. I thought it was first come first serve! Apparently not.

A very nice authentic pizza restaurant. Pizza's are made in an open oven at the back of the restaurant. Good selection of toppings and very tasty. We arrived just before 5pm on a weeknight, restaurant wasn't busy, but was nearly full by the time we left just after 6:30pm. Staff serving that night were friendly and helpful. Only downside was that the booth we were sitting in was very cold due to a nearby Aircon unit.

A great place to eat as a couple or as a family. Food is always so fresh and well prepared. Good value too, with attentive, knowledgeable staff. Salads and pizzas are excellent. Would particularly recommend the Buffalo Mozarella Salad paired with a Salami Piccante as a Mains combo.

Nice food WHEN it arrived. Thirty five minutes later we had to ask were we getting our order plus tables occupied after us were ordering and getting their food before us. Best thing was...... they weren't even busy. NOT GOOD!

Excellent range of pizzas and great menu for the kids. Clean and spacy layout. Friendly staff. Small kids play area out back. Highly recommend the starter platter for sharing.

Loved getting out 1st time since lock down.. Ad hoc decision but pleasantly surprised by quality of food & service

The little market town of Newtownards surprisingly has a lot of pizza restaurants within its town centre but one brand called "Little Wings" is synonymous for having restaurant quality pizza's (As well as having huge 24 inch pizza's). We got two pizza's to share between us; one a margarita and the other a chicken pizza withs drinks all round. Eating pizza in the May sunshine while the town centre market is buzzing with activity is a reminder of just the things I have missed over the past year and half and I am glad that Covid restrictions are finally coming to an end. (I hope)

For being Christmas Eve and for them to be closing for the next lockdown, the guys in the Ards Little Wing were amazing. They were so helpful explaining everything when you 1st arrived about the rules due to Covid. They went the extra mile to ensure we got what we ordered and more. Honestly was THE best dining experience I had in an age. Thank you guys 😊

Visited for lunch - lovely sunny day but unable to eat out side as all tables and chairs covered in bird poo . 👎 Need to clean daily - OR - get covers and remove as needed.. Food good and great value 👍

Terrible service and awful food. Cheap frozen pizza in Tesco is a lot better. They didn't even have knives or forks or napkins.

The staff in this little wing in Newtownards work so hard and are a credit to it . Food delicious and served straight from oven . The long wait for a table not Little wings fault (eat out to help out ) Only negative , very warm inside , a door or few windows open would help .
