La Perle Patisserie in Sheffield

Been coming to this place for years. The cakes are amazing. But seems its not like it used to be, I have always had the chicken skewer braised rice and salad with yogurt dip.. I took my friend after we finished the gym for some food to take home. I was excited for her to Try it... When we got back we were so dissapointed.. There was no salad... no sauce... no yogurt dip... It wasn't even a chicken skewer! It was 3 small peices of dry chicken on top of a vast amount of rice... chicken was also poor quality... my friend said she won't return. The lack of effort to make sure the order was what we asked for was abysmal. No care...

Extremely happy with our cake from La Perle it was made with love, perfect size, good price, tasty cake and the decoration was impressive. Went down very well with the birthday boy.

We came in thinking it will be an amazing lunch. As we came we have spotted that there is rubbish on the floor and there was soo many crumbles of food on the table. The dishes was not clean enough and the service was rubbish. If your planning a trip to the hospital then la perle is the best place. Lets not forget that they take as much money as possible from you. DONT GO THERE!!!!!

Really impressed by this place located on a street with some pretty good eats. Pastry selection was vast and there are many that you feel you have to try. The gentleman serving us was helpful, traditional and explanatory. Good coffee. Large venue. Good prices. Couldn’t ask for more if you’re looking for a coffee shop. Especially if you like the Mediterranean cafe culture.

We Been with some friend order coffee and some cake which was nice and fresh.atmosphere was not very comfortable need refurbishment.

Working just around the corner i nipped on to the Wicker to seek out some lunch and spotted this place, a great find as it turned out. There was a mesmerising selection of cakes and pastries as i walked in but i was after something hot and wholesome so chose a chicken and veg stew with rice, it was a huge portion and very good. i couldn't walk out past the cake counter without being tempted, so with eyes bigger than my belly i chose a fresh fruit and cream creation and a Latte to go also. Great food, great service and i will deffinately be back.

Freshly baked cakes and sweets also a nice range of food on the go. Good range of hot and cold drinks

Love to visit here for a pudding and a coffee after having dinner at Kebabish just a few doors down. (Although the meals at La Perle look very nice we always forget about the option until after we've had our meal!) Desserts are very similar (if not the same ones) as served in patisserie-valerie but at a fraction of the price. Staff always friendly and happy to help carry drinks etc to your table.

I have no reason to visit this side of town but from the very day I tried their desserts I fell in love with La Perle and seem to come back every time I'm in need of a well made coffee and a real fresh cream cake. The cream cakes remind me of my childhood of weekend Victoria sponges my parents picked up from the high street, chapel walk bakery. This place is really nice and clean and is so rich in culture. With a wide range of customers from different ages and backgrounds, I love this place. The customer service is really nice too. Really friendly, just as you expect from a Cafe type establishment.

Popped in Yesterday for a few desserts to take away. Been here a number of times, good decent staff with friendly service - range of desserts with cooked food options also. Clean and tidy restaurant with a nice decor.

I regularly visit here with friends, the food is freshly made to order, lovely friendly people who can't do enough for you. The cakes are fantastic too and you can see them being made.

Love it here. It's so much like our favourite eating place in Marrakech. More than a patisserie there is a lovely mix of French and Moroccan food. Chicken and pasta, delicious, paninis well filled and tasty, with a huge choice of wonderful cakes for dessert. Fantastic friendly staff who are always eager to please and a great atmosphere.

We have been going to this patisserie for a while now and it is brilliant. The coffee is great and the food is great. The menu is quite varied and arrives very quickly. A couple of times I have had a Mexican chicken panini with fries and salad, the filling is beautiful and is always well presented. The staff are very friendly and the cakes are to die for! Give this place a try it's lovely.

We ended up here when we arrived early to pick our children from an event a 100 yards away. What a surprise! They serve wonderful cakes and the menu is excellent too. I had a halloumi dish and hubby had chicken and rice. Both were well presented and tasted lovely. Kids had strawberry cream cake when they joined up. Again they were impressed. Hot chocolate was lovely, hubby coffee was not excellent but not so sub par to lower the rating.

Regular place until earlier this year as the standards have gone down. Not the same quality with the desserts, they need to pick or risk shutting.

La Perle is welcoming, clean, light and friendly. The cakes are beautiful to look at and are nicely unusual, a very pleasant change from the endless cookies and muffins served in so many other places. Well worth a visit 😊

We stayed locally at a nearby hotel and decided to go here for deserts. Glad we did as went the following day too to have more deserts for lunch and took some cakes home as well. The banana tart was simply amazing!

I have been to many patisserie even in and around Sheffield, by far the worst customer experience I have had. Some days are better than others. Eg - normally places like baskin robbins would allow you to taste the ice cream you want to buy...

It is a little awkward to get to if you don't know the area but it is worth making the effort. Friendly but unobtrusive service. Great place to visit at any time of day. Food is cooked to perfection and the portion sizes are ample....
