Enjoyed my first burger at beginning of summer Thought I’d try again Wish I hadn’t. As nearly half an hour for a burger that didn’t fill me up Must be using smaller burgers such s shame.

Comida callejera fresca perfecta. Estoy desconcertado de que alguien haya dado una reseña de 1 estrella porque tuvo que esperar 20 minutos para obtener una comida deliciosa y fresca. Debe ser un negocio rival, si no, vaya a McDonald ’para esperar 2 minutos, ¡patético!

Super tasty food, great selection. We went when they were cooking at Hanlons Brewery. Great service, great setup, highly recommended!

As title says this was the third time we'd had a meal from La Cantina and we all agreed the quality of the food has definitely deteriorated. The taste just wasn't there as it had been previously. Furthermore,the meat juices added to the burger just resulted in a soggy mess. I found a stone in my burger. I emailed the following morning and was offered a free burger next time but sadly, I don't think there will be a next time. I fear La Cantina may be about to become a victim of it's own success. To end on a positive - the chips were nice.

Have bought from here 2 or 3 times now, the food is amazing, me and my wife love it, will be ordering lots more

Just one of the best mobile food shacks around. Scallops and chorizo with skin on chips and also the chicken burger is just juicy as hell not the cheapest around but well worth the money 💰

Service is terrible, you order quick enough but then wait 25 minutes with people who ordered after getting their food first. Food is semi warm when you finally get it

We had our inaugural visit to La Cantina this week, following a passionate recommendation from a friend, and still it exceeded expectations!! Delicious veggie bean burger and fries, and some mind-blowing nachos with veggie chilli. Rounded off with a salted caramel brownie that was so scrumptiously gooey that I had to stand on a chair and make a speech. Thank you La Cantina! Looking forward to next time :)

I have previously given a 5* review but after another fabulous meal at the weekend I felt compelled to review again. We enjoyed the La Beast and the Mighty Maple with a side order of dirty fries (fries with bbq sauce, cheese and bacon) with a salted caramel brownie to finish. It was out of the world!!!! I had considered sticking with the La Cantina I had enjoyed last time but the Mighty Maple did not disappoint. So large (burger,cheese,lettuce,bacon,onion rings, onion jam and all inside a beautiful brioche bun) I couldn't finish it but taste was certainly not compromised for size. My partner and I agreed the fries were 'the best we've ever tasted'. Whilst the salted caramel brownie was delicious and the perfect texture - outside crumbly but rich and moist in the middle my only criticism was that it wasn't really a salted caramel brownie.More a brownie with a drizzle of salted caramel sauce. Stick some salted caramel pieces in the actual brownie La Cantina and make me a happy lady!! Thanks for another lovely meal. Already looking forward to eating it again

Every time I have had anything from the menu I haven’t been disappointed it’s top quality food and all the staff are very friendly.

La Cantina were at a wedding that we went to a couple of weeks ago. The food was superb. I would recommend them as caterers at any event, and I only heard people talking about how good the food was. It was very high quality, plentiful and really, really tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful despite being very busy.

An evolving menu of delicious gourmet burgers! Not forgetting the chorizo prawns with rocket...sea salted chips.....broccoli salad...so many mouth watering flavours!! You simply must pay La Cantina a visit the next time they are in your area! PS finish with a salted caramel brownie they are amazing! (If you can fit it in!!)

Quality food cooked to amazing quality. Can't stress how good these guys are. You must, must, must, must, myst try them! By far the best take out food I have ever had! Excellent!

I'll be honest , when I first heard about La Cantina and looked at the menu I did question the prices - it's not cheap. Now I've tried it I'd say the food is worth every single penny. It's hard to believe that such delicious food can be served from a van in a car park. It's excellent quality food (a lot is locally produced) cooked to restaurant standard. Every component or my burger was out of this world-thick meaty burger,tasty pulled pork,crispy homemade onion rings,crisp lettuce,PROPER burger sauce and a lovely brioche bun. The coleslaw was clearly homemade and didn't disappoint. As we have a young family we don't eat out alone very much so it's nice that we can enjoy a high quality grown up takeaway at home. Thank you La Cantina :)

The first time I visited La Cantina van I had scallops and sweet potato fries which was very nice. Yesterday I had one of the burgers and it was indeed amazing. Huge, juicy, smokey, spicey, cheesy, meaty burger and the chips were plentiful and also delicious. All quality produce and expertly prepared. I'll try and visit whenever they're in the area.

Visitamos muchas veces para arreglar mi cerdo desmenuzado. Increíble barbacoa de cerdo y de repollo con tirado patatas adecuado es una de mis comidas favoritas en Exeter.

Super delicioso, todos productos locales cocinados por encima y más allá de calidad de restaurante! Hay pocos lugares que comer de todo en el menú! Yo incluso intentaría en una sentada, pero no muy lejos, ya que las porciones son generosas. Recomiendo

We drove to cranbrook to go here- 40 miles round trip for this amazing burger . We enjoyed the chicken / beef combo .... mac & cheese balls. Yum yum yum ..... will return !

My family and I have eaten La Cantina for on countless occasions and have never been disappointed! My favourite has to be the original La Cantina burger - the pulled pork and burger combo is incredible. Tim's food is absolutely delicious and I would (and have) recommend it to anyone!

We discovered Cantina when they had their van in Exminster one evening. My eyes were certainly bigger than my belly - the burgers are HUGE!We've been back numerous times since as well as to their place in Dawlish Warren and each time has been first class food and service. The SFC in particular is a favourite of ours.Everything is cooked to order, so you know it's fresh and hot.Last night for a change, I had the king prawns and they were amazing, huge and juicy and lots of them.Would highly recommend and we rave about the place to everyone :-)

Tried the La Cantina burger with sweet potato fries as looked and sounded very tasty and my wife had the La SFC with proper chipsThe burgers are absolutely gorgeous and really have that amazing taste with every bitePricing; don't think La Cantina are your typical burger van as they are far better than this, the price is very very reasonable as the portions are larger than I have had in other restaurantsStaff; They are incredibly friendly and very natural with their customer service skillsI visited on a weekly basis until we moved away and they never failed to deliver.I cannot recommend the street kitchen enough, you are guaranteed a delicious meal every time

We meet Tim around two years ago. After eating his insane food twice, my wife and I booked him to cater our wedding. We still go back maybe twice a month. Great bloke. AMAZING FOOD!!!!!!!!!

I have to say the burgers here are simply fantastic. You won't be disappointed. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the prices are reasonable. I'm always keeping an eye out for this place!

We have been going to La Cantina every week now for two and a half years and I can honestly say I have never tasted a better burger. The staff are always friendly and the standard of food is always consistently high. I am so glad we found this special place when we moved here, as it always makes our Friday nights really special and something to look forward too.

Great fish & chips with homemade tartare sauce!Arrive early to get a good portion size is my only tip!Reasonably priced,meal for 2 people under £20-Found the onion rings very greasy! ( wouldn't have them again,)Will just enjoy the fish & chips as my occasional Tuesday treat!

The food from here is always amazing! You will struggle to find better burgers anywhere else, especially not from any of the chains that inundate Exeter. All the staff are really friendly and there's always a great choice on the menu which is always changing to keep you coming back to try more. Not that you needed and more of an excuse than the great food. I highly recommend La Cantina!!

I enjoy La Cantina every week. The food really is incredible. I cannot stress strongly enough how much everybody needs to try it.

We absolutely LOVE La Cantina. Yes it's a little pricey for a food van but it's the best money spent! The burgers are cooked to perfection, pulled pork succulent and delicious... mac and cheese balls amazing, I could go on but you get the hint. Basically you have to try it, if you are stuck for something to eat... hunt them down and get a burger.

I have had various different things of their menu over the past year or so, each as amazing the next. Would recommend highly to anyone, both meat eaters and vegetarian. Always service with a smile :) can't recommend enough!!!

Decided to try La Cantina's street kitchen van after hearing so many good things about it and we certainly weren't disappointed! So much so we ended up coming back three weeks in a row. The burgers are cooked as you like them and the flavour combinations are creative and tasty - we particularly enjoyed the Christmas specials with the deep fried brussels sprouts and the cranberry bbq sauce! Prices are more than reasonable for the size and quality of the food you get and you can upgrade your fries to sweet potato for just an extra 60p. Friendly staff makes the already good experience even better :).

I went with a couple of mates last week. Food was amazing, well worth the visit I would go back again and again.

I am lucky enough to live very close to one of the locations that the La Cantina Street Kitchen stops each week, I have eaten from here a few times and and the burgers are amazing! They are packed full of flavour and don't disappoint. Chips are great too... And the onion rings... And the pulled pork! Would definitely recommend.

Went down to see Tim and the team for a quick hello went away with the new Christmas burger 'La Hog Gobble' having worked with Tim I have tried most of the burgers BUT he has pushed the limits on this one where this chef gets his ideas from is anyones guess but what I will say if you pay him a visit you will be hooked keep up the good work team :)

We regularly have food from la cantina. They're always quite busy because the food is delicious! Yes, it's a bit more expensive than what you'd expect to pay at a 'burger van' but the food is top notch! We have tried the scollops - perfectly cooked and always a good size portion and la cantina burger - possibly one of the best burgers we've ever had! Definitely will go back again and again!

The best fish and chips we have eaten in Devon....and the pulled pork burgers are rather special too! La Cantina are regularly at Topsham on a Tuesday evening and worth a visit.

I would highly recommend la cantina. The food is soooo amazing, I have tried different meals from here and I can honestly say that I have always been very satisfied. The staff are very friendly and the food is value for money.

In my opinion, La Cantina has the best burgers in Exeter. The only hassle is having to drive to Topsham or Exminster to pick them up. I once had a raw burger when order\d medium cooked one, but I've been ordering well cooked since then and I haven't had any other issues. I can't wait to have another one again.

Visited at an in between time around 3pm on a Wednesday so was quiet but with a lot of window interest in the menus. Service was good. Food is good quality and tasty. You choose what you want so no surprises! I like heat but if you don't then you don't get it. Simples Good value too

First started my addiction for La Cantina in November 2015. The burgers are to die for and I have tried many now including the festive range and can honestly say they are the best I have ever tasted. Value for money and just incredible. Cheers guys there goes my diet again.

I visited La Cantina Street Kitchen again tonight. Tim and his team never fail to deliver. Tasty, fresh and locally sourced food. I had a burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was seriously tasty and juicy and the relish was amazing. The sweet potato fries melt in your mouth. Just delicious - I can't recommend highly enough.*****

What an amazing idea by very talented chefs. Amazing burger - cooked to taste (in my case med/rare) with sweet potato fries.Looked amazing and tasted even better. Will definitely go again and would recommend to anyone. It ain't cheap but it's well worth the extra just for the experience.

Yes it is a takeaway. Yes it could be described as a burger van.But what amazing food Tim produces and what lovely friendly staff. My favourite is the beanie burger and I am not even vegetarian.

The food is so tasty you wouldn't believe it's take away food as the quality is so good! Really recommend the sweet potato fries and the burgers, such various options you won't get bored! The staff are always friendly! Typing this is making me want some sweet potato fries!

Very friendly service. The burgers are outstanding, always cooked to order and available with a delicious range if toppings. Tip, the pulled pork topped burger ...nom! The rest of the menu is also superb with a balance of old favourites and new options. The slow cooked brisket a few ago was simply devine! Highly recommended.

The best burgers in town. Forget Hub box or Ruby, you MUST try these. The fish and chips and scallops rock too. A great menu with lots of choice. The pulled pork is lush, and you can never eat all the chips. He does kids meals too.

I have been treating myself to la cantina for a few months now. The food has always been exceptional and soooo tasty! The staff are very welcoming and will always prepare your food exactly the way you like it. I drive a different route home on Fridays just so I can can have my yummy, scrummy, juicy burger. We've eaten quite a few times burgers from La Cantina. On one occasion we drove to Exminster as we were sooo craving for them ( burgers are big, tasty and juicy), and ordered them medium-cooked. When we came back home the burgers were completely raw on the inside, they basically sealed them and that was it. We had no choice but to bin them as there was no way to separate the burger patty and pan fry it, as all the cheese and the shredded pork were all stuck together. So, burgers are delicious and we have eaten them again, but never ever ordered them medium again. The burgers were mooing.

The quality of food is fantastic, really enjoyed my burger and the onion rings. Big portions great value. Very tasty! Friendly staff, this isn't bog standard take away food its tastier!

The good from La Cantina is absolutely superb! The size of the burgers is monstrous but this doesn't affect the quality or the taste. Locally sourced ingredients of the highest quality and a great range to choose from (which they constantly add too!). Every time I go back, I have to try something new even though I loved the first dish I tried the others are just too tempting! For the size of the potions they are well priced.If you visit you will not regret it! Follow their Facebook page for locations if the van and their menu.

This is only the second time we have had the good fortune to grab something from La Cantina. For this particular evening we had the choice of going to Topsham, Exeter or having a night in, decided to save some pennies and go for take away - nearest other takeaway is a 25 minute return drive so to pop to the end of the road and order from the fantastic menu is such a relief. BUT this is no ordinary take away van, superb Mediterranean style aromas, sizzling burgers, scallops and haddock tail grabbed my attention. In the end we both went for the grilled (not battered at our request) haddock with chips. Sounds plain and boring, no not at all - from the sight of the fish i knew it would be good and the freshness came through + beautifully cooked, amazing chips (triple fried?) and the best home made tartar sauce ever. I wont be going to the 'chippy' again. Service with a genuine smile as well.

been served some street food in Thailand, Spain, Austria and New York and this lovely little spot in Exeter Devon is just as good as any of them, nice friendly people and lots of choices , just hope they last for years to come, well worth a visit guys ....enjoy

Had heard a fair bit of hype about La Cantina Street Kitchen and thought I'd give it a try. Surely it couldn't be worth all that hype could it? Yes, yes it is. I will now regularly be travelling the 20 mile round trip from home to one of their locations, it is that good. Excellent service, excellent food! Well done!!

This is as good as street food gets-clearly done with passion will def recommend to anyone who will listen, only one criticism-very important not to eat for a day before and do not plan to eat for a day after-awesome ,-)

I had seen other people post comments on facebook and wanted to see what the hype was about and well they were right .The food is very good and wholesome using local lean meat and the pulled pork is wondrful. Clean and professional Tim even asked permission to photogragh his first Mac Stack before posting on FB.My partner works in catering is fussy to say the least but cannot wait to track them down again.

We first found Tim and his La Cantina Street Kitchen at the Exeter Street Food Market. From the first bite his food was the best available at the market, Tim was friendly and funny... and very generous! My wife refuses to eat anyone else's pulled pork now... and is particularly fond of his sweet potato fries!Me, I love his burger specials. There are a set menu of burgers to choose from and Tim regularly comes up with new inventions that keep things interesting and astoundingly tasty. Last week I enjoyed the best yet, Le Mac Stack. Homemade beef steak burger topped with griddled macaroni cheese and pulled pork. OMG. Best burger ever, no doubt about it.

This is the best food in town,Tim and his team prepare food and serve it like a five star restaurant addicted to there pulled pork ,which is delicious tonight he served up fish and chips and an amazing burger for me and my wife and she was impressed which by any means is a rating in itself I must get the time to get to the food market in town with my daughter keep both woman happy cheers Tim keep it upJames the builder

I love street food and La Cantina Street Kitchen is by far the best I've ever experienced! They produce food with a passion with sublime results. The burgers are amazing, juicy, pink, packed with flavour and served with delicious twice fried chips, you cant go wrong! I can also recommend the fish & chips (freshly caught that day), pulled pork and scallops, mmmmm! The only downside is that every Monday La Cantina is parked at the bottom of my road and already my waistline is growing! But it certainly makes Monday morning's back to work a little bit better! Yes, I am a bit of a fan!

This travelling kitchen does the best burger I've had in years. I had the La Cantina burger, and it was amazing. Rare, juicy, tasty, lush bun with pulled pork and chips. Only £7.50. OMG you are a fool if you don't track the van down!
