La Bella in North Lanarkshire

Booked online and arrived in a taxi only to find restaurant (having accepted and confirmed our booking) closed.Not good customer service.

Amazing food, amazing service and fairly priced. Love this place for dining in and takeaway!

Stayed in the area recently for a few weeks with work, once we found this little gem we ended up there 1-2 times a week for our Eveing meal. It’s hidden up on the 1st floor behind the shopping centre. Food was outstanding and fairly priced. The penne Romana was a favourite of mine. Highly reccomend this place.

Great food and service. Nuri really looked after us. The pizza and pasta are out of this world. Really enjoyed the coffee too.

Always a lovely experience dining at this restaurant. Sadly we don't get to come often as live in England, & only come to dine when visiting relatives in Cumbernauld . We've been coming for many years, and always look forward to an amazing meal. Never had a bad one. Very welcoming staff. Would highly recommend a visit.

Got wrong order that's happened twice

We arrived on a quite Tuesday afternoon greeted by lovely staff our table shown,drinks order taken,food order taken i chose haggis scorsezze for my started and sea bass with cocktail prawns for my main meal. My partner had funghi fritti and pasta,the meal from start to finish was absolutely amazing 👏 staff very attentive,great to find a little gem like this in Cumbernauld keep up the good job 🥰

Very good. Plus, the young waitress who served tonight 18-01-25 (tall girl with tied back brown hair) was attentive, friendly, efficient, and easy on the eye!

Can't get any better in the area, staff always remember the kids and treat them like family.

First time in La Bella and couldn't fault it food was great and the service from waiter was outstanding

The staff were nice, I enjoyed the food but thought it was expensive considering the small portion sizes and (no offence intended) location of the restaurant. Around 10 minutes after eating, my wife and I both felt suddenly and severely unwell. I couldn't say with 100% certainty that it was down to the food we had here but if not, it would be a huge coincidence.

Some of the best Italian food I have had outside of Italy. I always go when I am staying in the area, food is always top notch and the staff are always friendly.

I would like to thank Management and staff for a wonderful time and meal on Christmas day. It was my first time at la bella and every thing was exceptional. Highly recommend.

2 hours for it to be delivered, so food was freezing. Brushetta was tasteless (needed salt and better quality tomatoes the bread was soggy. The chips were stone cold. Amatriciana pasta was over cooked, had ham instead of pork cheek, tbh it was basically just a tomato and onion pasta with some ham thru it, asked for extra Parmesan, we got none. Deffo not ran or cooked by Italians. Really disappointed cos they charge what authentic Italian restaurants do

Hard to find a decent restaurant in Cumbernauld like to support a local bussiness as much as possible so 4 of us went 2 adults and 2 kids. Service was very attentive nice atmosphere that's where the positives stop however. We got 2 courses and kids got 1 course. No desserts and no alcoholic drinks and was amazed at the price was £95 when I looked over the bill I could see they charged us for taking the left over food we had home with us I find that very cheeky when you are already paying over the odds for the food as it is also £3.45 for a can of diet coke I think that's taking the piss. The food was ok however no where near the standard for how much they charge unfortunately I won't be back I've never known a restaurant to charge for taking food home with them.

Have used the restaurant on various occasions,never been disappointed,tonight had a carry out for a family celebration birthday. Picked up a carry out all excellent and they even put a free bottle of red wine in for the birthday gentleman,great gesture.

Restsurant bit cold service 5 star have never been charged for a polysterine tub to take away what's not bn eaten

Very tasty food with great value for money for lunch!

Have been coming here every year for the past four years when up in Glasgow. The staff are extremely friendly and have banter with their customers. The food was yet again amazing, will be back again next year

This is without a doubt the best restaurant in Cumbernauld. The food is exceptional, and there is a great variety of options. I have been several times, and each meal has been outstanding. In terms of price, La Bella is great value for money—the lunch offers are exceptionally generous. First-class service. Drinks are ordered as soon as you are in the door, and the staff is so welcoming; there is a great chat that makes you feel wanted. I really appreciate the friendly atmosphere, as well. The décor is nice and the kind of ambience that you want from a proper Italian restaurant is there in spades. There is a great vibe to the place, and I would highly recommend anyone in the area try out La Bella for food and a nice evening! You are my #1 choice in the area for any events coming up in the future 😊 Adam

£3.45 for a can of coke!!! I grew up in Cumbernauld. I’m local. This is a restaurant on the top floor car park of a shopping centre. Having called to book at 2pm on a Saturday afternoon, I booked a table for 5 same evening without issue. £14.75 for an unremarkable pizza! £8.45 one slice of as above bruschetta Almost £20 for a so so Pollo Milanese. Basic service. Basic decor. Thin paper napkins. I asked to speak with the owner when presented the bill. Wasn’t available, manager plainly said ‘owner sets the prices’. Naturally. But this place is hardly, with no disrespect, positioned in the centre of Glasgow. And to add insult to injury, the 75p charge to take away the wee guys pasta that was late in being served was astounding! Nothing short of daylight robbery and greed such as this won’t wash I’m sure with other patrons.

Food was tasty but nearly 5 quid for a bag of chips a bit on the pricey side for me. Seems like restaurant prices for take away. Also my favourite pizza napoletana was served without cheese, first time for me but only noticed when home.

Recently went through the week on a cold night so it was really quiet, however, that did not make a difference to the food. Love going to this restaurant never get bad food and the portions are always filling. Staff and always attentive no matter what you ask them to do.

When I walked in I thought I could buy a pint of beer ht i found put i need to order food but the Staff and management where happy to serve me a pint inside this place is amazing and I see nice fresh food getting served but please avoid the take options as that's really bad overall great pint #Grazie

I had ordered pollo Pepe with chips as a main course, my husband ordered mushroom starter and polo Milanese. My husbands meal was satisfactory unlike my dish, I cut a peice of chicken and the texture seemed strange, the chicken was pale looking and a slimy texture, my husband tried a piece as well and confirmed that it wasn’t very nice. After only having two bites of chicken I left the majority because it wasn’t very pleasant to taste, The waiter had asked me,” was there something wrong with the chicken” to which I said “ it didn’t taste very nice “ he took the plate away and asked if I wanted anything else, which I refused. When paying I did expect him to deduct the cost of the chicken, he didn’t and when I questioned him about the charge he started to converse in Turkish in front of me to another member of staff and he was clearly discussing the situation, so I asked him to speak in English so I could understand, he explained that if I had a problem I was to talk to the manager who was on Holiday in Turkey, the cost of the chips and pepper sauce turned out to be £20 and no offer of a refund for the bland slimy chicken that was dished up, I found the staff dealing with the complaint very rude and not helpful at all,

Food is excellent. Top quality. Not many get the balance o cheese right on pizza. Base, sauce and cheese perfect. The spaghetti was also delicious. Good generous portions as well. Staff friendly. Service spot on.

Great food. Great service. Lots of choice for food and drink. They even made a dessert that wasn't on their menu after e asked if they could. Surprised our daughter with a birthday cheesecake after learning about her 18th. Can't fault.

Best Italian restaurant in Cumbernauld. Incidentally, they also do take away food for special events, Christmas etc. Decent menu selection including old favourites like Bruschetta, Lasagne and Pollo Milanese. Friendly service and ample parking outside.

Really enjoyed this place. The food was great (so good I forgot to take a picture of my main). Service was decent, I think one of the servers was new and never said a word every time they came over with drinks or food. Overall though this place was amazing and I highly recommend it.

Visited today for lunch, no table booked just popped in passing by. Lovely clean restaurant. Staff were lovely, very welcoming and friendly. Food was great. Good portion sizes, fresh. The tiramisu was the best I have had, definitely be back for that !!!. Very reasonable prices. I couldn't fault our lunch, highly recommend a visit.

Pretty decent service and food quality. Service was a bit "all over the place" possibly due to it being overly busy. Had to wait a while for our pre booked table. Even though it was very busy the restaurant was generally clean looking and the staff were very helpful. Would I go back again...yes

Lunch with friends which we all enjoyed.

The kids had spaghetti bolognese it was a decent Ragu. Pasta was cooked well. Let's be honest that isn't so hard. My wife had the carbonara. Again the pasta was cooked well and the sauce was half decent. I had the Veal Milanese. The veal was tasteless and chewy don't think it was fresh probably defrosted. Breadcrumbs were greasy spaghetti Napoli was OK. My daughter got the apparently homemade Tiramisu. It wasn't a tiramisu, it was a creamy cake that tasted half decent. To be brutally honest The chefs don't know how to make Italian food. How this place gets 4.7 baffles me. People of Cumbernauld wake up this isn't Italian food, you're eating in a restaurant that serves food that's cooked to an average standard with an Italian theme. The staff were pleasant know how to clear a table but not much else.

We visited this restaurant twice during our short getaway in Glasgow. We were seated with no booking or problem on both occasions, with Friday being extremely busy. Service is amazing. We were very well taken care of by multiple friendly staff. Happy to accommodate whatever we asked for. The food is amazing and unforgettable. We had the burger and pastas which were truly amazing. Our three year old picky eater ate a whole plate! Prices are very good too, especially when you look at the portion sizes and the quality of food. Location is perfect with a massive car park outside for free. The food was so good, that we truly think everything was freshly made with high quality ingredients. If we are ever in Glasgow again, we will surely come back. Highly recommended!

Never thought I would be writing this. But the food was so bad. Myself & 2 friends went for lunch. My friend ordered the Haggis to start. Haggis came out freezing. Sent it back. Was dealt with efficiently. I ordered the prawn cocktail, prawns were hard & tasteless. My main which was pollo milanese, was ok. Always rated this place highly. So disappointed.

Came here for my birthday meal and really could not have been a better experience, the staff are very polight and take care of you, the food was honestly the best Italian I've ever had. We will definitely be coming back for another visit. Thank you so much!

It was great! Except I was weirded out that the silverware was laying on the table. What we didn't use, but I had touched and breathed all over, was picked up and pur right back in the clean silverware to use. I couldn't believe it when I saw that. This is how viruses are spread.

Lovely place, have been going here since it opened. Food always lovely, and staff always friendly. Great family friendly atmosphere too. However the last time I went me and mum got food poisoning, so not sure if we’ll be back unfortunately. It’s put me off.

Very nice meal from a very nice ambient atmosphere

Recently had a date night in here. Food was excellent and beautifully presented. Staff were polite, attentive and courteous. They even moved us into a booth at request as it was a bit more roomy and a bit more private. As soon as someone got up to leave they were quick to clean the tables for the next party coming in. Reasonably priced as well and quite a lot on the plate. I'll definitely be back and I'll tell the friends and family too! Thanks for a great experience!

Lovely family run restaurant. Food was delightful, the service top notch. They were so swift and food came pretty quickly as well. I thought they were trying to be fast and get rid of customers because of a large party but that was not to be. Steady stream of diners and they were just smooth, sleek and produced amazing food too!
