Excelente la comida, el ambiente y la atención, la chica que nos atendió, nicole, super amable y nos hizo muy buenas recomendaciones! Servicio muy completo, sin duda repetiré!

Es una pena que no estén abiertos, tenía muchas ganas de aprovechar el nuevo sistema de entrega, pero acabo de descubrir que están en bloqueo total por un tiempo. Realmente me extrañaba Barossa con una botella de Sauvingnon. Te veo pronto

Este sigue siendo nuestro bar de vinos favorito en Londres, somos lo que yo llamaría visitantes frecuentes y poco frecuentes que vivimos como lo hacemos en Kent, pero visitamos cada vez que tenemos la oportunidad. La última visita fue justo antes del cierre en marzo. . . . cuando nuestro concierto fue cancelado en el O 2, nos consolamos con una visita a La Barrique, las pizzas eran excelentes, el vino bueno y el personal amable - ¿qué más se necesita?

Cené anoche con algunos de mis colegas de trabajo y el servicio fue excelente. Nos atendieron Nathalia e Inesa, que fueron muy amables y profesionales. Tuvimos una conversación encantadora con ambos y, al hacer el pedido, seguimos las recomendaciones de Nathalia. Toda nuestra comida llegó junta y rápidamente, las pizzas eran excelentes y el postre (tiramisú) era enorme, uno era suficiente para que todos compartieran sin embargo, no comparto mi postre. Definitivamente regresaré. * Debe probar la Vitrum Blend (vino tinto), que fue una recomendación perfecta de nuestro servidor. * *

Solo business dinner Rushed greeting at 7.15pm. Rushed order taking 7.18pm, hadn't digested the menu. Waited 7.30'placed the order Dough Balls, hot and tasty Mushroom & Ham pizza, fresh though a bit lonely and tiniest and thinnest mushrooms I ever had Whilst I was there the waitress was turning away guests? I never saw the Chef Kitchen was starting to stack up pots so can imagine there was some problem going on. Guests near me received the wrong order, it was found on a neighbouring table, retrieved and presented to its correct owner. Highly improper to switch food around this way. Will not be back despite my food being good, the service was not, and for this I was asked to pay a service charge. Middle of the road place

quite dark and classical is a generous first impression, we were quickly greeted by a bustling waitress who was enthusiastic and keen to get us seated - This was a return visit 2 years previous a similar visit saw myself and companion disembarking from EXcel for lunch - Our previous visit disappointed, this time the offerings (Pizza instead of lasagne) were as convivial as pizza and tomato salad could be, our previous experience of the red wine, expensive & lacking in character, did not engender us to try another, Pilsner lager was just fine and dandy - Not the cheapest but a better bet than some of the other eateries available to visitors at this event - An interesting small chain restaurant that seems to be looking for an identity - Not up to Zizzis but better than your average Pizza express, but then thats not difficult, improving indeed but not quite there yet!

Sehr gemütlicher Laden mit toller Calzone und gutem Wein in einem alten Industriebacksteinbau. Dazu direkt an der Messe. Ggf. reservieren.

My friend and I went for dinner ahead of going to a gig at the O2. When we arrived we were the only people there, however it was 5pm and by the time we left at 6.30 there were two other groups. The interior was nice, they had some random video playing on the tv! Service was good and the pizzas were pretty tasty (although could have done with some more seasoning, my friend had to request pepper). I wouldn't go out of my way to travel here but if in the area it's nice for wine and pizza.

Arrivée tardive à Londres, donc on a assuré avec un resto avec un petit goût de France. 😁 Superbe cadre chaleureux, accueil souriant, de très bons vins!!... Pour les originaires du Poitou-Charentes comme nous, on conseille The Garlic Bread qui rappelle beaucoup notre préfou, mais ne tentez pas les dough balls...trop de pâte pour trop peu de garniture. Les pizzas sont bonnes, tout comme le tiramisu, même si c est plus une génoise au mascarpone qu un vrai dessert italien. Bonne adresse tout de même, rien que pour ses vins!

It's a wine bar and does what it is supposed to. Great place for a business meet and a fabulous selection of wines. Probably wouldn't be my first choice in that area as there are better places, but nice enough. The team that runs (or at least ran) on the evening we were there were all young and seriously inexperienced, and it showed. Friendly enough and trying hard, but no real plan and no one there to help them out. Prices are as you'd expect at the Excel.

This is the second time I ate here (last time was 2.5 years ago). I found the space lovely, the music fitting and subtle. The salad was fine, the pizzas were very good, and the wine list was good as well. The service was the friendliest and most attentive I experienced in the last month I've spent traveling in the UK. The menu is not extensive, just a couple of salads, pastas and lots of pizzas on offer, with one dessert (excellent tiramisu) - perfect for a lighter, more casual meal. Will definitely return whenever were in the Docklands!

We booked this place for our Team build after going to Locked in a room. This place did not disappoint from booking a table at ease, the service provided, lots of food and drink and the ambience of the restaurant it's a place that we would come again. The team enjoyed themselves!

After a long day walking around Excel, this friendly wine bar was the perfect place to stop for a meal. The staff were very welcoming and provided great service all evening. Although the food offer is mainly pizzas, they were delicious and there was a fabulous choice of wines by the glass. There was a lovely atmosphere and we had a very enjoyable evening.

Went for a special birthday with a group of friends. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the surprise tiramisu was excellent. Good range of wines and beers as well. The staff were friendly and efficient, the place had a good atmosphere.

Fantastic lunch with good friends at la Barrique outside the Excel during DSEI. A very nice retreat from the noise of the show to enjoy a nice lunch. The manager, Elena, made a point to make us feel welcome - even after a long week. I attended a business reception during the event at la Barrique as well and it was a perfect venue with great service. Highly recommended!

An absolutely lovely evening- food was lovely, and the service was second to none - attentive to our needs but not overbearing. Our group had a mixture of pizza and pasta dishes, all of which were delicious, followed by a lovely homemade tiramisu. Definitely somewhere to go back to the next time I'm in the area

We popped in for an impromptu mid dog walk dinner. Even though we had to sit outside due to having the dogs with us (fair enough) the service as always was impeccable and the food was a great standard as ever....thanks again!

One of our favourite go to places for a lovely and romantic evening. Excellent collection of wine and superb service . Very knowledgable staff who are always pleasant and ready to answer any queries. Great quality food that goes so well with the wine. Overall a great value for money . Recommend it to everyone .

Last week I have been on London to visit some friends and we decided on last moments to go out and we chose this restaurant. Was the best choice, I could said perfect. PERFECT STAFF, EXCELLENT FOOD AND A GOOD WINE. The best service in a small restaurant.

I've visit La barrique more then couple of times now. I usually visit with family or friends because the place has lovely atmosphere. The staff working there provides Excellent service and is friendly. I recommend this place to everyone as it suits all people. The pizzas there are the best so I always keep on comming back. When I went there couple of times I was few times welcomed and looked after by Elena. She knows how to provide Excellent customer service. Staff like that should be everywhere.

If you’re after some great pizzas, don’t hesitate to visit this place! Cooked in a proper “open fire oven” with thin crusted base and many different toppings. The different names also gives the pizzas a twist! A great place to visit! There are also other options but pizzas and a great place for sharing such as different boards filled with cheese & meats.

I came over for dinner with my friend to catch up. Our waitress Oana was very kind, helpful and attentative the whole time we sat at the table. Very good service

Visité aquí el sábado por la noche para una rápida cena italiana. Lasaña estaba en el microondas: fría en el medio y queso como goma, ya que el microondas tiende a hacerlo.

Limited menu available due to kitchen issues. No one else in the place and food poor quality cold and over priced! Not a lot else to say. Wouldn’t return!

My wife and I popped in for a post swim dinner. We were welcomed like old friends and the service and food were impeccable as always.

It was the first time that we decided to try this restaurant. Just because all eating places inside Excel were extremely busy. This place was quite quiet and prices were reasonable. We ordered 2 pizzas with 4 cheeses and 2 soft drinks. The waitress was very attentive, maybe even a little bit for my liking. We were waiting quite a long time for food to arrive but it was freshly made and very tasty. I would come back to this restaurant again if I will be visiting Excel.

I dined here last week with a group of colleagues who I was staying at the Novotel round the corner with. I absolutely loved the decor and ambience, you really feel like you're in a trattoria. Great selection of wine at a reasonable price and the food is simple and delicious. Most if my party had huge pizzas which has perfectly thin crusts and I had lasagne and a side salad which was absolutely delicious. My colleagues had desserts which they said were absolutely to die for. The bill was very reasonable and the lady who served us was a pleasure. I would definitely recommend if you have business at the Excel.

We were visiting the area and wanted a wine bar. This is a pretty place and the wine game is strong here but we ordered the cheese plate and was servers 9 bits of cheese, a dozen bites sized bits of bread and oil - no chill jam like advertised all for £15. I will not be bringing my group here in Oct when I’m back for a EGX. Such a pity as it’s a pretty cute place. Such a let down.

Food was delicious and the customer service is outstanding. We were all attending comic con and ate here for two nights. Superb food, great service and bv miles the best place to eat near the Excel.

Although the restaurant was very quiet on a Sunday night we enjoyed our meal and excellent glass of wine. Prices very reasonable and restaurant only a few minutes walk for our hotel. Service friendly and efficient.

Just outside Excel exhibition and conference centre, located on an old converted docklands warehouse, a good atmosphere and plenty of wine choice, inexpensive food options that are plentiful. Service is good too.

Visited because we love Tapa Vino. It’s clear the group ethos pervades across restaurants. La Barrique offers a simple yet effective menu in a warm loft setting. It was great to be welcomed by staff we know from other venues: Inesa, Mercedes, Chiara. The cross training across venues really works.

we were coming to excel for an event and I spent some time researching the restaurants in the area - La Barrique looked good and had a sophisticated bar feel to it even if it was a little dark - I decided to go traditional and try the home made Lasagne and side salad along with a bottle of Rioja to wash things down, all of which were pretty disappointing if Im honest - I have cooked better lasagne myself, never a good sign and always a good measure as my cooking ability is decidedly average by restaurant standards - Not the cheapest either!

We ate here one evening whilst exhibiting at Excel. We made a reservation by phone but to be honest on a Wednesday eveningn in April it wasn't too busy. However,i can imagine at other times it be very busy. The service was really good with the staff attentive without being intrusive. Menu was fairly standard but the food was very good. Wine by the glass a touch on the pricey side, better to have a bottle. Recommneded

My wife and I pop into this place every once on a while as we live fairly close. It's often for an after work date. The food is always of a high standard and the service is equally impeccable and welcoming, always a pleasure to eat, drink, chill there.

Found this little gem whilst staying on the Sunborn yacht , would much rather eat here than the Sunborn. the food was lovely very authentic pizza, italian meats and lovely wines. You only have to read other peoples reviews to see that this place is a real gem. Nothing more to say than this really.

Stopped in randomly tonight. Pleasant atmosphere and nice but seemingly timid staff. They waited on us quickly and were hesitant to seat us at the taller/longer tables because we had children it we were hungry and tired so we didnt mind at all.

Stayed on the Sunborn Super Yacht for husbands special birthday.... And decided to eat at this restaurant... Was a little unsure as it looked a bit ordinary from outside. However once inside the restaurant is rustic, warm and very inviting. Had an amazing meal and would definitely recommend this restaurant. Staff were also very friendly and knowledgeable about the food. Coming here again.... No hesitation!!

I'd booked in advance for 7pm as we were staying overnight at a nearby hotel for the bike show so knew it would be busy. You come out of the West entrance of the ExCel then follow the walkway to your right and La Barrique is just there on the left. It's a very good looking place set in an old docklands warehouse with exposed ceiling beams original supports. It's quite small and although I'd booked for a regular table we were immediately shown to a multiple seating high bar, I asked if we could go to a vacant 2 seater table but the man who seated us was oddly reluctant saying that this was better, so rather than start off the night making a fuss we stayed put. The drinks orders were taken quickly although I was a bit surprised that I couldn't get a lime and soda as it's not exactly a specialist item! The drinks came quickly as did a lot more people on our table getting louder and louder and right up close to us, not really my idea of a quiet meal for 2, I asked again if we could move to a vacant 2 seat table and was again met with reluctance, I was told don't worry they'll be off to their own table in 5 mins. By this time we'd both had enough and I'm guessing the waiter or manager not sure which realised this and moved us to a new table where we could finally hear ourselves think. I had opted for a pizza and hubby for a breaded chicken with Neapolitan sauce. The pizza was really very very good but hubby was a bit disappointed, his was a tasty dish but would it really of hurt to put a bit of salad with it? I am a big desert fan, La Barrique only offers 3 on the menu, Tiramisu, chocolate mousse or Affogato, no worries as I love Tiramisu so I was really dissapointed to be told they'd run out! It was 8pm on a Friday! The waitress apologised saying it was really popular and there had been a big event on at the Excel, we'll yes we were aware if that but surely you plan for this especially when you only offer 3 choices! It's because of these issues that I have only given 3 stars.

Whilst the food at La Barrique was good, and the wine better, the fact that when we found a sizeable piece of plastic in one of the salads we only had the salad (which we didn’t finish) knocked off the bill was pretty disappointing. We even suggested that this lightweight apology was probably insufficient but the manager clearly didn’t agree. Perhaps they will now!

It’s quite nice restaurant just beside of ExCel exhibition center. Service was friendly and worked well for a while but it was difficult to get the bill. My ”House calzone” was really excellent. I would give 5 stars for that but 2-3 stars for service.

Had a quick lunch, meeting up with new colleagues at the venue. Pasta and Pizzas ordered. Service was good, Piizzas were also good, only down-side was that the drinks on-tap aren't icy cold - so you are better off with bottles.

What a nice treat to find this restaurant in a warehouse adjacent to the (lackluster) ExCel Center in London. Very good food and wine. I ordered the Margarita pizza and it was delicious. Much better than dining at a hotel or restaurant inside ExCel. Tip - it was nearly impossible to find the first time on a rainy, foggy evening. The restaurant is located on the second level of a warehouse (that has other restaurants). The only entrance is from the upper deck of the ExCel Center. Walk toward the DLR train station on the second level and you will see it.

Firstly, I couldn't find my way in...story of my life. The entrance is up the ramp towards the Excel and not on ground level. The place looks great, not massive and quite cozy. The lady who seated us was helpful. I asked her about 6 questions about food and what she should recommend and I went with her advice. I had cheesy balls for starters. LOL. They were cheese filled balls of goodness. Cheese oozed out as i bit into these flufly little balls.The bruschetta were also very good. I had a pizza with peppers and chicken. It was awesome. I can't remember the name of the lady who served us but I wanted to say thank you for the help.

After getting into London quite late, we neeed food and pizza seemed like a safe bet! It was Friday night (last night!) and all tables were full but only one waitress on the floor serving. Despite this she was lovely, attentive and working hard to accommodate everyone. Decor was nice inside but no background music on? Pizza came quickly and was delicious, no complaints at all really. Wine menu was good and prices reasonable for London. Glad it’s nearby our a hotel as we might pop in again. Just hope the poor waitress is not on her own again as she could do with the help!

Adjacent to London excel centre and busy even when no exhibition on. Simple layout with long bar tables make it more of a social get together which is nice. They offer a range of food but people go there for the pizza . Good price and taste nice. Very good range of wines and a small range of beer.

My young son and I were desperate for food on a very wet Saturday night. The lovely gentleman greeted us, and managed to squeeze us a little wobbly table in the corner - perfect! We shared a pizza, had cold drinks and tea (me), chatted to people on next table, paid a very reasonable bill and left happy and dry. Plus the pizza was up there with the best. Thanks again.

We were staying at the Ibis Excel Styles and this restaurant is on the bridge leading to the Excel, less than 5 minutes walk. Great starters and Pizzas to follow. It was pretty quiet but there was a great atmosphere. Service was good as was the value.

We dined on a Tuesday evening with my friends. Very relaxing place. The service was excellent and very welcoming. We loved the pizzas. My favourite was the Rioja. We highly recommend this restaurant.

I went for a Date night and it was wonderful. The pizza (Cataluña) was the best Italian pizza I have tried and how to forget the olives, they seemed to be marinated of which I have never tried before and it was just absolutely delicious.

Food was good, but we waited over an hour and a half for it to arrive, and this was in spite of the fact that we had booked a table. People were coming in us and getting served. The waitress kept apologising and offering us more drinks (which are not cheap!). The chef seemed to only prepare what he felt like cooking and couldn’t seem to deliver more than one pizza at a time. There were 6 of us, and half of our party had finished their food before the others got theirs. It’s just not good enough.

Great energetic atmosphere. Beautiful bar. Amazing food. Great service. It is good place to have a chat and drink after work.

Imaginando un bar concurrido me vino empujando una mesa reservada para un jueves por la noche. Llegamos a las 9 de la noche y sólo había un otro cliente. La placa de reparto de antipasto era buena, pero el menú que además tenía que en realidad era el queso burrata sólo queso realmente queríamos. No había queso burrata entre los quesos y embutidos que nos dieron. Sí, entiendo, pero la gerencia necesita gestionar las expectativas del cliente y menús palabra correctamente. "Chefs selección" habría sido una descripción más apropiada.

As it was 25+ degrees outside at 7pm it was almost empty, everybody was outside drinking at the Fox. No bad thing as service was swift.

I was I London on a conversion for a couple of day. We ate here one nigh and ordered appetizers from all their dishes. Meat was amazing, spices was great. I ordered a vegetarian dish just for fun, really good that too. So top score for this place. Btw very nice interior and good service.

Así que estoy seguro que todos sabemos la historia ahora - Yo vivía en el mismo edificio que La Barrique durante años y comer allí todo el tiempo porque la comida y la gente son simplemente geniales. Cambiaron a Italia hace un par de años, pero cuando estoy de vuelta en Londres tengo que conseguir mi arreglar. Después de pasar varias horas caminando por la exposición de gran diseño y tener un montón de sitios para comer, pensamos volver a este restaurante/bar para pasar un par de horas antes de volver a casa.

Ate here after our day 1 at Excel with 5 colleagues; lasagna, chicken Milanese & garlic bread ordered. My lasagna was late & the last to arrive so they immediately deducted it from the bill. Impressed by the unprompted service from them thank you.

We visited grand designs and walked in on way back to station for lunch. Food and service were very good and excellent pizzas. Maybe my expectations were low as it was just off walkway but had a lovely lunch.

Ate here purely based on previous reviews and have to admit we weren’t disappointed. Food is exceptional and the service was attentive and professional. Great place to eat and drink.

Un bar/restaurante que sirve vino la comida normal de tipo italiano en un hotel muy agradable y relajante ambiente de moda. Las pizzas eran grande y bonito con una base sabrosa tradicional, mucho mejor que la Pizza Express Prezzo y empapadas de cristal pequeños. El resto del menú bueno también. Yo tenía un vaso de la más barata Malbec en la lista y que era de muy buena calidad y de un tamaño decente, de nuevo mucho mejor que la calidad en la conocida cadena de restaurantes italianos. El personal era muy agradable y servicial.

Este es un oasis en el Excel a la estación Custom House dlr. La decoración es en tonos terrosos, estantes de vino lleno de madera, ladrillo visto y vigas de madera, y una mezcla de asientos y sofás de taburete de bar.

Tuvimos algunas cervezas y vinos en el bar de vinos muy agradable. Las cervezas eran realmente buenos, fuertes y de muy buena calidad. Los vinos, especialmente los tintos, también eran de muy buena calidad. El servicio era muy bueno y amable con el personal maravilloso esperando. En general, este fue un gran relajante para mí, mi esposa y nuestros parientes. Realmente este es un gran lugar para relajarse para relajarse y tomar unas bebidas en un ambiente agradable, relajado y cómodo.

En mi camino a mi hotel después de un día en Excel estuve dando vueltas por este café de vino. Yo no era muy de Hungría y el personal era muy servicial en explicar el menú pequeño pero excelente. Yo tenía pollo parmagianni con una copa de vino y fue muy agradable. Las pizzas se veía genial!

I thought I was going back to Tapa Tapa as the doors are next door to each other. Similar bar like atmosphere. I had the pizza with Iberian ham and rocket. It was excellent.

My colleagues and I had lunch here yesterday with our Czech suppliers whilst visiting an exhibition. We initially had to sit at one of the low bar tables but our waitress soon moved us to a free table. The ambience is surprisingly pleasant, belying the exterior approach to the place. Positive points - our pizzas were good and the house red wine very good; the waitresses were charming. On the negative side service was a bit slow and the 2 girls were quite stretched. This did not concern us too much as we had a lot to discuss, but might have been an issue if it was not a business lunch. Overall I was impressed, and the prices are reasonable.

It was a cold, rainy, and lonely night...I had arrived at Heathrow at 2 pm after a 10 hour flight. I then spent the next few hours commuting across London to the Docklands where the following day I would meet up with a thousand of my closest friends. I needed food, and I had a new umbrella, so I searched Trip Advisor for nearby restaurants. The reviews for LB were 4.5 stars, and I was very interested to meet the by name mentioned servers and staff. I will say it is a bit hard to locate when you are on foot, but maybe by car it is just as hard. So here is how to locate it. It is upstairs in a building full of various restaurants. Zero settle, Tapa Tapa, and Fox @ExCel. It actually is located atop the Fox and behind the Tapa Tapa, so go across the roundabout from Fox, go up the stairs, and walk under the covered walkway towards the back of the building. The door is right there. The ambiance is good, low lights lots of wood, wine bottles all over the wall, and high top table predominantly. I tried the Secret menu item that I had heard, the Lithuanian Pizza, but then I found out it had mushrooms, so I traded those out for goat cheese. I also tried the dough balls, which are stuffed with Gorgonzola. I thought they were a bit over cooked on the outside, but the cheese was really great. Not super “blue” and pretty flavorful. I then got my pizza, which ended up with mushrooms, but they swapped that out fairly quickly so that was ok. The pizza I thought was pretty good, wood fired and thin crust. Plenty of grease with the pepperoni. Being an American, I was looking to add a little to Parmesan cheese, which ended up shaved as opposed to grated, which was also great. Finally, the Tiramisu was as good as advertised. I cannot claim to be a great expert on Triamisu, but this was delicious! Staff and service was as great as described, though I did not meet Elena or Kissya. Ana was good Aurelija was very helpful and I had a great meal!

With a very healthy Tripadvisor rating I was expecting something well above average but sadly this restaurant did not really work for me.

I've eaten at La Barrique on 3 occasions in the last few weeks and each time it's been excellent. The pizza is definitely some of the the best I've ever had (including in Italy), there's a good selection of beers and wines and the staff are welcoming, friendly and attentive. In particular, I'd single out Elena who introduced me to 'Lithuania Pizza' which isn't on the menu but definitely worth a try if you enjoy your pizza a bit spicy - Enjoy!

Metimos en una pizza después de Excel, la amable acogida, buen ambiente, a un precio razonable, sin embargo, la pizza era insípida. Managed to get in without a reservation; the service was attentive but not intrusive. Our waitress Kasia was lovely. Pizza and salad good as always and wine was perfect
