We got a take away from here this evening. It was the first time we have tried here. The portion size for the price was shocking. £9.50 for sweet chilli chicken there was 6 small pieces in this dish! We e will not revisit.

Came here with my wife and two kids, our server Narae was delightful and incredibly helpful when explaining the menu to us. We did not have to wait long for the food and when it did come out it was exceptional. We will make sure to return.

Thanks to Keethan and Narae for looking after us and explaining the menu. The spicy green beans were delicious and the Korean beef too. We will definitely go back. Highly recommend.

Ten of us attended a celebration here for my daughter’s birthday. On arrival we were served drinks and soon after, our starters. Then it went downhill. Further drink orders took ages. Beer had to be brought from downstairs and was warm. No one approached our table to clear the starter plates away, so after and hour we did it ourselves. Still nothing from the staff. Three times we asked where our food was and we were told “it’s coming.” After an hour and 45 minutes we’d had enough and asked for the bill. We were stunned to see a service charge on there! The Manager finally explained that they were 3 staff down and struggling to get food out promptly. Interestingly, a table of two was served before us, despite them coming in after. He was clearly embarrassed but really did nothing to keep us or our business. We paid for our alcohol and went to the restaurant next door (where the service was exceptional) This is the worst service any of us has ever received and made worse by the fact the manager was really not bothered. Never again!!

Compared to normal sushi restaurants, the price and quantity of food are not appropriate. expensive, small portions , do not wish to go back again.

My partner & I went here for dinner last weekend and were pleasantly surprised. We have always used another local Japanese restaurant but will certainly be returning here again! The edamame beans were tasty & the sushi was great! Service was very fast so we could have no complaints. Staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was ultra quiet inside but they seemed to extra busy with takeaways. This didn’t effect the speed of service though. Would recommend people to try this restaurant.

Authentic Japanese dishes in a friendly, relaxed restaurant. Staff are attentive and the food is incredible. The sushi and the hot dishes are all amazing. My favourite place to eat in Worcester Park!

This was our first time out after the month lockdown and it did not disappoint. Fabulous food, recommend the tempura, and although there was a wait it was well worth it.

I’m not one to write a review but I’ve been to many London sushi restaurants and I think this could compare. Wasn’t massive on the steak/beef but the sushi dishes and the salmon tataki was one of the best I’ve ever had. Also like the atmosphere, lighting and back ground music. Reminds me of Roka, Zuma vibes. Definitely my favourite restaurant I’ve seen in Worcester Park

We both really enjoyed our sushi here. We had a wide variety of dishes from the menu and every single one was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. We love sushi and were really impressed and pleasantly surprised when we tried this food. We have eaten here a couple of times and are now going to try the takeaway option so it’ll be interesting to see if it’s just as good!

Just had a delicious meal at Kyosen with a friend, having never been before the waiter was very helpful advising us on what sort of things we could order / how much to order. We settled on one appetiser, two lots of sushi and shared a main & side. Everything was delicious, a great range of food and flavours and just the right quantity. Looking forward to going back and trying different items on the menu as it was hard to choose tonight as so much looked good. A great place in Worcester Park. Also, even if you don’t like sushi, it’s still worth trying out, there are so many choices on the menu, you could easily just order meat & veggie options.

We had two bento set lunch. A sushi and a salmon. Sushi was very fresh. Salmon set was nicely cooked not too salty. There’s enough condiment (wasabi and ginger) in the box and good bottle of kikkoman soy sauce on the table for sushi and sashimi . The waitress is very attentive and happy to split our shared dessert into two servings. The pricing is reasonable for food that taste as close to Japanese as this - fresh, subtile palate. Not over seasoned bog standard ones. Will be back again. Definitely one of our favourites!

Went to Kyosen for lunch today. Heard they’d been getting good reviews so thought we’d try it out. Bad mistake. Service was painfully slow. Bowl of noodles in soup arrived with no spoon, front of house staff was too busy moving around so my husband had to go hunt for a spoon. They made an error with my husband’s order, this was a kick in the teeth after having waited 40 mins for our food (we didn’t order starters). He never got any soy sauce for the sushi in his bento box but he was so fed up with all the waiting that he didn’t bother asking for it. I’m pretty sure we weren’t the only guests fed up with waiting as every table seemed to be looking around and repeatedly asking the front house staff about their order. Food was mediocre and considerably overpriced. £9.50 for a few measly udon noodles in a soup broth with one fried prawn tempura and three pieces of fried veg .... you’d think you were in the city of London with such prices. I’m not planning on going back. Osaka down the road provides far better service and tastier food at more reasonable prices. If kyosen doesn’t up its game, it’ll shut within a year.

A nice atmosphere (given the covid restrictions) with a cool decor and funky ambient music was a good start. The service polite and pleasant but was a bit slow relative to how busy the restaurant was at the time. IT was disappointing that some very basic things were not available leading me to think that much of the food is pre-packaged and not made fresh on site (yakitori - it's just lumps of chicken on a skewer, kakuni is just pork belly) (and these were also not available when one of our party ate there the previous week) For the prices charged the portion sizes were small. The House sushi set came with a surprise - all the sushi rolls doused in sriracha sauce (no mention of this on the menu). What the heck is siriracha doing on sushi?! All in all a disappointing visit mostly due to the food, the staff were lovely but the price was simply not justified.

We went to this restaurant for the first time on Friday night and the experience from start to finish was highly unpleasant! On entering, it became apparent that there was a very rowdy table of 5 customers in the corner of the restaurant! This table was loud, rude and constantly swearing throughout the evening and although this was no fault of the staff, nothing was done to quieten or curb their behaviour. Looking at the reaction of other customers, it wasn’t just us who were affected by their disruptive behaviour! There was only two front of house staff working and it was obvious they were under pressure and as a result the service suffered immensely! The table wasn’t set when we were shown to our seats so when we finally placed our order and the starters arrived my wife had to go to the back of the restaurant and find chopsticks, cutlery and napkins herself! The starters and wine were of good quality which is why this review didn’t get a ‘terrible’ rating! The Chicken Yaki soba my wife had was not good and my main course didn’t arrive at all, even after asking the waiter a couple of times! We eventually gave up and decided to get the bill and leave! Again, a long wait for the bill only to find my main course and a 12.5% service charge added! We eventually got this amended and at no point received an apology for the appalling service we had to endure! We tried this restaurant as we saw a lot of really good reviews so maybe we just had a bad experience! They do need to be careful though as if they have many more nights like ours, customers are sure to vote with their feet and go to their competitors!

Really enjoyed the food at Kyosen, had a sushi selection (good quantity), chicken Udon and tempura prawns. All very tasty, served at good intervals by friendly staff in a pleasant environment. Given this is Japanese restaurant food I thought prices were very reasonable. Social distancing...

Came here with partner for Valentine's Lunch. Delicious Korean BBQ. Now don't have to go to New Malden. OK for standard sized wheelchair access as well.

A small but authentic Japanese restaurant with nice Japanese speaking staff (or owner?). Sashimi and sushi are delicious. Feels like I am having my dinner in Japan.🍣
