The food here is delicious and worth the visit. We had a selection of gyozas, spicy chicken bites, sushi, sashimi, bao buns and miso aubergine. The attention to detail and presentation of the dishes is second to none. I'm going to try the bottomless menu next time!

The best sushi I’ve had in London. Without a doubt. You see the chefs make it on the counter in the restaurant and it’s as fresh as it looks. Can’t believe this little place is so under the radar down in Balham here. The miso aubergine was next (next) level, closely followed by the butter fish nigiri. Also recommend the kudasai roll and baobuns. Go all in. It’s worth it. Super friendly service. Comes out hot and fast. And you get a cheeky little fortune cookie to mull over on the way home. Top work all round.

Authentic shabu-shabu style with a unique sushi presentation inspired by afternoon tea. The dishes are crafted by a seasoned chef with years of experience in Japanese cuisine, ensuring an authentic dining experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Overall, I was very satisfied and would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking quality Japanese food.

We went for the bottomless and it was absolutely delicious. The portions were huge and the quality was exceptional. I’ve eaten at a lot of expensive, fine dining sushi restaurants and this food was on par. Fantastic value for money, and we left super contented and felt we had an amazing experience. Highly recommend and will return!

Visited to collect my order from 2good2go. Waiting time was quite long for that kind of service but that's because they were preparing all the food for me. It just doesn't happen with 2good2go. It was on expensive side thou. I'm not a massive sushi fan, but I can eat pretty much everything. I usually get sushi from chains like Sushi Gourmet or Wasabi and this food was so much testier, you can tell they know what they do and are good at it. Food was fresh, had many flavours, and I wanted to eat more. Liked bao bun and aubergine in particular. Also it’s nice looking place with good atmosphere and simple design.

Best sushi we’ve had in a long while! We went for the bottomless and was a good mix of starters, hot pot and various sushi - generous portions and everything was really high quality! On par with the top London restaurants - we’ll be back! It is open in the evenings at the Panda Coffee shop.

Came across this place by accident, and it’s the best accident to date. The food here is outstanding. I am genuinely shocked at how good the standard was. Not only that but the service and hospitality from the chef makes it even more special. I cannot praise this place enough. Some of the best sushi I’ve had in London. Spicy tuna was perfect, and butterfish sashimi is a joke, the bao buns are great too.

Cool place, great food, good variety. The miso soup, gyoza and sushi rolls were excellent. Nice service, I asked if he could box it up for me and it was done quickly and well. Great place to grab dinner after a long day's work. The place looked excellent for dining in, I just had other buisness to attend to at home. Gonna try their bottomless option when I have more time.

Me and my fiancé went here on a spontaneous date to Balham and had one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in 34 years in living in London. We got to sit up at the bar and the chef Jo made the whole meal. Not only by making delicious food, but preparing it all in front of us, and explaining each dish. Best of luck with the new location buddy. We’ll be back!

Truly one of the best culinary experiences I’ve had in London. I’m from Las Vegas originally and this is the first time in the year I’ve been here that I’ve had the experience and food quality I wanted from an omakase. Jo was incredibly generous and personable. My fiancé and I felt immediately welcomed and the fish quality was amazing. Can’t wait for him to have a larger space so more people can appreciate his craft.

Simply the best, most imaginative Japanese food I have had in London. Jo is an excellent chef and thoroughly deserves all his amazing reviews. We are very lucky to have his talents in this part of town.

The Chicken katsu curry was absolutely delicious, big portions too, and cheap really! The man even gave us a complimentary plate of duck sushi's, which were unbelievable. Can't recommend this place enough. Hidden gem

First time visiting the place and Jo made me feel so welcome and put his own special touch on what I ordered as well as offering me a free taste of a fish I had never tried before. The fish was so fresh, and service was amazing. Will be back again!

My friend and I went here for the bottomless menu (while also requesting for the sets to be halal). Happy to say that it did not disappoint! Hands down changed our perspective of Japanese cuisine as what we had was unlike any other Japanese food we’ve had before. Their take on Japanese cuisine is so unique and I definitely recommend it for a whole new experience. I’m not even kidding when our eyes literally lit up for every first bite of each dish that we had. Kuya Jo (owner) is also very nice and very accommodating adding to the nice experience. Looking forward to coming again soon and will try other dishes next time~ ♥️

Best sushi in Balham! The food is fresh and incredible. The chef is lovely, friendly and so skilful - the dishes are prepared fresh to order using great quality ingredients. The sushi, bao buns, gyoza, Yakitori, bento, katsu/tonktsu…. All delicious. Best edamame too. The fish is gorgeous, both as sashimi or in rolls. Highly recommended for take away or dine in. It really is the best you can get locally

Joe was very friendly and helpful. Food was tasty - gyudon and chicken katsu was good. Sashimi was fresh. Prices very reasonable. As we were a big group we pre-ordered. Took off one star as we still had to wait a bit for the food but understand it was a one man show. It's a small place so if you are a big group call in advance.

We went to this place for the first time for their bottomless menu on Saturday night. I must say that the food is very good for the value (only 24.99£) and the owner of the restaurant is very nice. He accommodated my diet requirements without any issue. We couldn’t finish it so we asked to takeaway the food on the table. I will come back for sure

FANTASTIC!!!! Literally the best order I’ve ever had on just eat!!! No issues with this order! Fresh Food arrived early that was of great quality and flavour! Generous portion sizes except salad side!and we were given extras being sauces drinks,gyozas,napkins,chopsticks and wet wipes!!! Food was a little cold on arrival but nothing a Microwave couldn’t sort-thank you would recommend and definitely use again! :) :) :)

Fantastic sushi, made with knowledge and skill. The location is slightly unorthodox, but don't let the fact this place is in the back of a post office putnl you off — the food and service are both amazing. We also tried the tonkotsu which was nice, but the standout is definitely the sushi. Highly recommended, please everyone visit and keep the place going, Balham needs the high quality food they serve! Joe was also super accommodating of my wife allergies and made special effort to ensure she could enjoy everything safely.

This IS the best sushi in the area (and I love my sushi). We always get well looked after, and the Sunday Bento boxes are simply incredible.
