I had ordered it to be extra spicy and there was no extra spicy but others were good.

Really disappointed with the food here. The tikka masala tasted like a korma. Extremely mild, and way too much coconut. The tandoori mixed grill was weirdly acidic and had no spice to it whatsoever. Chips were soggy. Veg samosa was good.

Food was just amazing. Full of flavor, big portions and piping hot! We will deffo order again!

ordered the desi chicken but I didn't like the taste at all . wanted to try something different but I will stick to what I have in future. tha quality was really good and great service

roman josh the lamb was tough and inedible also fritters were hard. my daughter enjoyed the wrap. mint sauce was to thick. tbh I haven't had a curry from you for a while but I always did before for years and it's changed compared to how it used to be. it's a shame 😔

Tikka Bengal was superb and my wife loved the coriander rice. Everything beautifully cooked and flavoured. Thought about ordering from somewhere else for a change but so glad I didn’t.

The food is really authentic. 💯 Food came with some salad which was lovely but I found the quantity in the vege less so May be the quantity for that vege food ( chana aaloo) should be more 🙁

Absolutely delicious especially the ghee rice. The owner delivered the food and was very friendly. Was a slight mix up with the delivery address but the owner apologised. I Will definitely order again. I have a new favourite.

Wow. The chicken tikka bengal was delicious. Chicken was really fresh and the spices were perfect. Bread and chutney were also great. Piping hot.

The food was lovely but not very warm which was a shame.

Lovely lamb biryani, onion bhaji and crunchy popadoms. Nice extras like mint dressing and salad. Delivered a lot earlier than stated which was fab.

Just had a chicken biryani and peshawar naan. Great flavours, decent portion and reasonably priced. I phoned my order, drove down to pick it up and it was pretty much ready. I think the Guy who answered the phone, was the guy who sorted my order, nice pleasant and professional. Gave me a free poppadom and bottle of water. Second time I've been now, and had different food both times. Think I'll eat my way through the menu. Deffo recommend.

Ordered tonight was perfect as always love the tandoori butter chicken, and egg rice and they even do kids meals which is good for kids if they don’t fancy anything else on the menu x

While it does taste good, It was really quite cold when it came which isn’t great, so I’ve had to put it in the oven which in turn has dried it out a bit. I will more than like try here again because like I said it’s tasty but it need to be hotter! Annoyingly it’s very close to where I live so we were either a late drop off (which again doesn’t make sense as it’s no more than 5 minutes away at a push) or it wasn’t particularly hot when it left.

Good arrived about 40mins late, so food was sitting on the side waiting for a driver. As a result, the papadams, naan & onion bhajis were soggy. Wouldn’t use again.

Very nice meal, very tasty and good quality food.

As always the food arrived piping hot, well packaged too. The king prawn masala is the best ever from here and the garlic keema nan is so tasty. Give them a try if you haven't before.

Always come here but can’t believe they are charging 30p for a carrier bag!!! Come on lads Normally £20 a chuck spend for most people !! (Ps you only have to charge 10p so you don’t have to treble it!!) Food very good. Otherwise.

Food was high quality, well seasoned and tasty. The only let down was I ordered red bull and was sent coke. Also wasn't sent any mint sauce as is usual with Indian takeaways. Would highly recommend.

The food was lovely, good quality meat and good value for money. The only issue was that the chips were missing from our order. The chips were for someone that cannot eat rice so their meal was a bit disappointing.

Food was so cold,the chips was soggy and full of grease! The amount u pay for pickle tray and the tubs are so tiny,the poppadoms was like rubber awful waste of 40pounds.

Love Kolkota, totally our go to Indian. We've tried a few but now found our home as the food is always tasty and it's not been late yet (hope not tempting fate!).

Good portion sizes. Pretty good flavours. Will make custom changes if requested. E.g. I requested a no added salt option. Food descriptions could be better. E.g. egg fried rice did not mention it has a lot of veg in it (onions, peppers, herbs etc...) If you can pre-order, I recommend you do as they are quite popular so wait times can get quite high otherwise. We ordered the Pasanda (Lovely and as expected) Shatkora (Tasty, thick sauce, good heat.) Korma (Tasty, thick sauce and mild) Tikka Masala (Tasty, as expected) Rice Lemon rice (Has other veg in) Egg rice (Has other veg in) Keema Naan (more lika a large lamb salami in the middle) Peshwari Naan (Coconut and sugar, no raisins.) Garlic naan (Finely chopped garlic on top) All four people happy with the dishes and nicely full.

Good value for money- decent portion sizes! Quite greasy.

Estimated time to deliver was about 1.5 hours after ordering, It came a little earlier, one of the starters was wrong, supposed to be mixed kebab, when it came it wasn't, it looked like possibly the vegetarian version. The poppadoms were soggy. In the main both dishes the meat was chewy and tough. We have been fans of Kolkata for a long time but won't be ordering again

Curry was good but the mixed chicken and pork kebab was terrible. Hardly any meat in it and what meat there was was horrible. They filled it mostly with chips. Shocking

Ordered from here over a handfull of times now and the consistency and quality of food is great. I'd definitely recommend the tandoori lamb chops!!

Usually top stars for Kolkata but yesterday the order wasnt good. Especially the mixed tiki kebab which i wouldnt usually order. There was not much meat on the kebab. The lamb was chewy full of sinew and i couldnt eat it. Also there was chips in the kebab which just isnt right. I threw it away. The curry which is generally spot on was salty. Ive rated as 3 stars this time because over a few years theyve been our go to takeaway.
