Delighted to have found this place. Loved the food, loved the wine and loved the service. The flavours were incredible and my partner especially loved the celeriac. We ate almost everything that the menu had to offer vegans and look forward to returning to try more! Thanks!!!

It is beautiful decorated, wonderful enveloping and cozy. Same for the food, not to heavy, beautifully presented and tasty. I also thought really good value.

Excellent service, decor and food in this relatively new restaurant. Gorgeous dark stylish decor in the back restaurant - the front by the street is a brighter area (maybe better for lunch). Fabulous selection of small and larger plates for sharing. Standouts - crab arancini, ribs, polenta, crunchy greens and a pomelo garnished salad. Good value wine ( they do wine tastings and catering as another arm of the business). Local guys using local suppliers eg drings butchers. A bit away from the market yard (they're down towards Evelyn St). Worth the walk. Lovely friendly service. Certainly the best European restaurant in the deptford/blackheath/Greenwich triangle. Highly recommend.

Had a great night here with a party of 6. Food was yummy, kind of Mediterranean, but really interesting delicious and unusual. My fave was the Chickpea Panisse. Lots of dietary options for us (2 meat eaters, 2 pescatarians, 1 vegetarian and 1 vegan!). Natural wines that I drank far too much of... Friendly staff. Recommended.

Deptford High Street has lots of great new restaurants these days, but this one might well be my favourite. It’s a modern space, but still very warm and cosy. Service is incredibly prompt and friendly, on one occasion the chef even asked my friend to come into the kitchen for a chat about his allergies, to make sure he felt entirely comfortable. Best of all; the food is great! They have a great pasta + wine deal once a week that’s really reasonably priced and they’re always switching up a very creative, fresh, mainly European menu. The shared starters are particular favourites of mine (though I am actually loathe to share the anchovies or pork ribs with anyone!) I really hope they’re here to stay, because the dozen or so times I’ve been here already they have never let me down yet.

The second time we’ve been here in a couple of months. Klose & Soan is a great addition to Deptford High Street’s growing reputation for good restaurants. We shared a really tasty variety of starters, being a spiced red lentil dip, pork ribs (with a great house slaw), cantabrian anchovies, gordal olives and house focaccia. The flavours of all the starters were terrific. We all had house-made pasta with a beef ragu to follow; once again, tremendous flavours. We had cheese to follow. The decor and atmosphere of the restaurant were pleasant and relaxing and the service was superb - friendly and efficient. Overall a great night out and reasonably priced. The only disappointment was that the place did not have many customers, but then again, it was a Tuesday night after a bank holiday. The menu, although not extensive, is interesting and there are other dishes we can’t wait to try. Likewise the wine list is short, but not run-of-the-mill. We’ll be back soon!
