Chicken satay skewers were excellent - highly recommend! The pretty little lady at the till is very jolly and friendly - she always makes my day! She looks as good as the food!

Best Chinese takeaway in Darlo!

The food is normally nice, but we got the same as usual last night and it was very poor. The so called egg fried rice, was just like a mushy boiled rice brick . Hence to say they were binned.

Had our first take away delivered and it was delicious. Thoroghly enjoyed it. We had chicken curry , egg fried rice and chips. Did 2, of us easy. Delivery driver was also really friendly and nice.

I visited the UK for the first time and craving for Chinese food. I never hesitate to walk a little over a mile to get King Do Food, the staff and owner, Kim, are so friendly and the food is delicious and speedy. Enjoy your day to the fullest! ♥️

Traditional, old school, definitely cooked by family that have ran it for a long time . Real chips , real Chinese gravy and piping hot. Fantastic service will DEFINITELY order again. Thank you.

Most disgusting chinese takeaway we have ever had. Not only forgotten parts of our meals,food is bland and too sweet and salty with no flavour.fried rice is mushy and sweet.I've never felt so sick with a takeaway.just Easter money on absolute shiiit,these staff clearly have no respect for their customers

I ordered House Special Chow Mein and Sweet And Sour spare ribs. Lots of meat in the chow mein and all of the food was really well cooked and tasty. As good a Chinese takeaway as I've been able to find in the area. Not bad pricing either. Only loses a star due to the chaotic waiting time on a busy night. They probably need more staff or better organisation.

First time trying this place based on reviews, best decision I made. Food was amazing and service was fantastic!! I'll certainly order here as my regular now. Only thing I was disappointed at is this place is literally less than a minute away and I was charged 2quid delivery, but not been well so wasn't up for driving. My recommendation would be a mile or 2 no delivery charge My

Pretty Good - without extra MSG (E621) as requested. Crab/Sweetcorn soup only 6/10 but all the rest was perfect. No leftovers

Food excellent, delivery excellent, but to be overcharged is not good,this was dearer than ordering on just eat,my order was £13.20 plus delivery, I was charged £16.80 by driver, so this is £3.60 for delivery, or I was overcharged on the food, delivery charges are inconsistent,a week ago was charged £1, previous delivery was charged £2 . The delivery charges need to be consistent so you know what you are paying. Order date Friday 23rd October Time. 17 13. Probably the best Chinese takeaway I've ever eaten.

We decided upon returning from holiday to order in and used to use this takeaway a lot when it was Maxim as lived close. Having read a couple of reviews on Facebook pages we decided to give them a go. We were not disappointed. The communication was a little difficult, (non English speaking chefs) as our order was incorrect on collection but soon rectified. Everyone enjoyed what we had, it was tasty and not at all greasy. It could have been hotter but time spent waiting for missing items would have been the cause for this. I think we would order from here again in the future.

First time ordering from here, I ordered of just eat and although delivery was around 35 minutes late this did not impact on the quality of the food. The food arrived piping hot, was lovely and the chips are proper chips, rare to find these days. I will be back and highly recommend. Please don't be put off by late delivery, it was Saturday night and sometimes can't be helped.all social distancing guidelines are adhered to

Friendly and happy staff and the chips are bang on! Nice and crispy and fluffy and not soggy at all, can’t be a good chip from any takeaway in my opinion.

If you like extremely greasy food and rubbery chicken go for it i will never order from this place again, even after them phoning me twice to double check the order i placed while trying to explain to someone who had a hard time understanding me.

On the few occasions that we’ve visited King Do, the size of the portions have been remarkable. I can’t think of a Chinese takeaway or restaurant we’ve been to, where £20 gets you the amount of food you walk away with. Kim is friendly and engaging, the food freshly prepared and always hot. I would recommend anyone whether a resident or passing through Darlo, pay a visit King Do and experience the food yourself.

Ordered from here for the first time last night, and the food and service was excellent. Best fried rice I have ever had. Even my daughter loved it, so it must be good! Can't wait to order again

Excellent takeaway if you’re in the mood for some authentic Chinese food, cooked by a small family run business. I recommend the fried rice dishes as they’re delicious and satisfying. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.

The best chinese takeaway in darlington. Food is so delicious and comes out super fast. Definitely recommend curry dishes as its my favourite from there. Staff are super friendly too.

It arrived quickly and was hot but had no flavour. Even pouring a load of my own soy sauce on top didn’t really help. I ordered chow mein and It had a floury, gloopy bland taste. The noodles were stodgy and stuck together. Chips weren’t the best. First and last time ordering, sorry.
