King Cod in Liverpool

I bought fish and chips from King Cod and the food is great quality, the fish is freshly cooked as is the rest of the menu.

We went out of our way to travel here outside of our area after seeing the Instagram pictures that looked amazing. We got salt & pepper Fish dinners , they were very disappointing ! Cost £14 for two meals and they were just bland ! Nothing remotely salt and pepper about them , the meal was very soggy off the cardboard box and the curry sauce was completely tasteless ! Won't be going back !

Would recommend this place to everyone, best fish I’ve ever had, all the s+p stuff if great as well, never had a bad meal from here, staff are sound too, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

The waiting time for food is quite off putting.Its too pricey aswell and fish meal portion sizes are massive (you can share one). The fish is nice though.

Wasn't anything special. Won't be going back. You can always tell a bad fish and chip place; when they don't have any food pre-done because they are so quiet and you have to wait for freshly cooked food which doesn't taste fresh anyway.

Would never go here again. First time I've visited. Food was terrible limited choice on the menu, staff rude when asked if they did fried rice? Don't think it's too much of crazy question in a chippy.

New experience for us, thought we’d give it a try. The meal was spoiled by a young lady heaping salt mixure on each layer of the meal. The optimum would have been a quarter of the amount. At £7.00 not cheap.

We visited here after our friends told us about it. I can state I won’t be going back! The food was disgusting. The salt and pepper fish was soggy and it just tasted of nothing. The lot of it went in the dogs bowl.
