Second time dining at Khushi Lechlade and it was great as we remembered. Delicious curries, Super attentive and friendly staff. Such a delight to be back :)

Well cooked food & friendly staff. No alcohol served but you can take your own in if you wish. Many other places were closed as it was bank holiday

No idea how this resturant has 4.5, stars! Went there for Sunday buffet. Absolutely awful, the food was help yourself from luke warm containers by the door and a sparce choice at best and salads left out uncovered. To make matters worse they only serve non alcoholic beer, I guess they have no licence? So off we trotted to the new Inn across the road and had a wonderful Sunday roast. My advice is to drive into highworth 10mins away for your indian food, there are two very good restaurants there and very well priced.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant perfect for family events ,everyone can sit next to each other in the long joined up tables , They can cater for any taste buds European style Indian curries or authentic homestyle cooking, just speak to the fantastic staff or manager muj, he will go the extra mile to cater for your needs. They were polite, friendly and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. I have recommended khushi to all my family and friends! Thanks Muj! Really disappointing. The meal was pretty much tasteless, wet, not a very good experience - the staff were OK though. Ask the cheff to go on a cooking course. The good thing though is, take your own drink. They charge a small corkage fee but nothing like the price of buying beers and wines at other restaurants.

Hands down, some of the best food I’ve had recently! They use the freshest ingredients and make sure each dish is done the right way. The "Khushbu Chicken Tawa" was especially memorable. Must try! I was blown away by their service. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations. Truly great service.

One of the worst Indian food I have had in England in a long long time . God only knows how this restaurant survives . My guess is because it is located in this tourist area , everyone who visits and fancies some Indian food ( like we did) ends up ordering from the very few choices of this cuisine in the area. I wouldn’t have thought anyone trying it once, and knows anything about good Indian cuisine would order from them again . Totally tasteless and absolute rubbish ingredients. Zero taste . Most dishes full of excessive amounts of artificial colour and onions !!! We binned a lot of it .(£125 worth of takeaway) . I sincerely hope I don’t feel ill tomorrow. They need a new chef immediately and the owner should respectfully use better ingredients . The worst dishes included Paneer that was all Pink and rubbery . The Bhindi we looked at and went straight in the bin . 😣. It’s a long time since I have Had to write such a negative review.

Nice starters and mains. Mixed kebab, Chicken Tikka Buna, side dishes also good but too salty. Too much unnecessary salt. Chef/ owners please note. We can add our own salt if we need to!

Visiting the area and this restaurant was recommend in the Airbnb. Firstly, easy to order over the phone, shared location via WhatsApp for a super efficient delivery in the sticks. The food was excellent, even the Indian wife approved. Couldn’t recommend them enough. Will be ordering again soon Thanks Guys, appreciated.

We had a takeaway. I was surprised how quick they delivered. Our usual place is at least 45 min. Food was Bland, lamb was tasteless . Popadoms a bit stale. Poor value for money. Will opt for Chinese next time.

I was so pleased to hear the Sunday buffet was back. All suitable for one of the party who has to have a gluten free diet apart from the naan bread. Help yourself as many times as you want. 3 starters, 3 meat curries, 2 vegi, rice and naan bread. All absolutely delicious. Servers welcoming and friendly.

We ordered a takeaway after hearing good things about the food , this turned out to be a huge mistake . Lamb Balti , the sauce was ok though lacking in substance , however the lamb content was awful, The lamb was sliced in scallop like shapes which gave me the impression that it was left over from something else and bunged in the sauce , it tasted old like it had been cooked a while ago , it had no flavour of lamb , the texture was dry and without any signs that it had been cooked in the sauce it came in , I barley had two spoonful's before I consigned it to the bin. The two other people who had ordered were very unimpressed as well , I will not comment on there's as I did not try there meal . The price was a surprise as well , 2.rice , 3 mains , 1 chips , chapatti , naan = £60. Sorry guys this was very very poor indeed .

Very nice curry house with an extensive menu. I had a mixed kebab and then chicken shaslik tandoori with a cheese naan. All very nice and big portions. It a BYO - Londis next door has an off licence and is open until 10.00pm. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. It was very popular.

I am a regular at Khushi, luckily living within walking distance, and have tried most things on the menu. Across the board the food is excellent, whether sitting in or take away. Meals can be adjusted to personal preference. Staff are always nice.

The Khushi, led by Muj, has come out of the other side of the lockdown in great form serving fine food in the bright and well run restaurant or to take away. Large orders for parties comer all efficiently marshalled on the trolley and takeaway portions are large. Fish seems to be very good at the moment: tandoori prawns, king prawn biryani and the signature goan fish curry are all well spoken of. BYO alcohol helps with the bill.

Booked a table for 4 last night , we were very impressed with the quality of the food and was a great service , with the fact you take your own alcohol too it works out so much cheaper . Will definitely be going back

Nothing to rave about here. The food was fine, but not great. Service was fine, but not great. A very extensive menu, so there is something for everyone.

Visited Monday night and was surprised to see how busy it was for eating in and takeaways.The menu has a vast amount of dishes on it to choose from the classics to their own specialties. Vegetable, chicken, lamb, fish, prawns and duck all feature on their menu.The food was lovely and cooked to perfection. Extremely tasty with fresh ingredients. The king prawns were large and meaty. We asked if they could make an okra and aubergine mixed side dish, which they obliged no problem.They do not sell alcohol here but they have no issues if you bring your own bottles of wine, lager etc. They charge a small glass fee for this. The waiters were friendly and welcoming.We found the food service a little slow and there were big gaps between ordering our food and our starters and then our starters to our mains. We were the first people sitting down at opening so didn’t expect to wait so long but apart from that, really tasty and authentic food.

We ordered take away from Kushi a couple of times and both times the food was excellent. Service was prompt as promised and parking outside for a quick pick-up is easy. Good value especially if you order early in the evening.

We went for a takeaway as recommended by a friend, well not only was it very expensive but the food was not anything special, the staff did give a mind that I said for a takeaway £37.00 was very expensive,the response was that is what we charge will never go back again and I will never recommend it to any one, I will stick to rafus in Highworth the one the best end of story..

The food while not outstanding was very good and we enjoyed all of our meals. We had the misfortune to visit when they were having some problems in the kitchen so we had to wait a long time for our food but it couldn't be helped. If we had been advised of the long delay when we arrived we may have chosen to go elsewhere on this occasion. What spoilt it for us was being so crammed in - it would have been a much more enjoyable experience if there was a little space between the tables. It felt very claustrophobic.

Have had take away from here often but it has even disappointing the last couple of times. Tonight I ordered onion bahji ‘s and was given Pappadoms. When I rang they told me I had ordered the pappadoms which I know I didn’t as I’m not keen on them. The rice and curry were both cold. I do not think we will visit again.

Great food but becomes quite cold not long after being served nice and hot. Service slow and I can’t believe that they charge for the chutneys that are served with the popadoms - outrageous. Often only a little is used and presumably goes to another customer. They could leave it for use with the rest of the meal . So 1 popadom with the chutneys £3.30 - will never order again.

Very nice Indian restaurant in Lechlade. Food was very good, delicious flavours. Service was OK. Tikka Massala had quite a lot of sauce as compared to chicken pieces but everything was tasty. Recommend it. On that evening, the restaurant was being restocked and it was quite fun to see the driver making round trips from his van to the kitchen carrying huge bags of oignons and other stuff.

Picked up a takeaway from here when moored up in Lechlade on a recent narrow boat holiday. Cannot therefore comment on the service (went to a local pub for a beer while waiting for the food), but the food was excellent. Mrs Traveller b32's gluten free requirements were catered for without fuss. The only criticism is that it is quite pricey for Indian food, but I can recommend!

We live in Lechlade so can collect but they do deliver. Not been disappointed as we tend to order the same meals (creatures of habit) and their prices are more reasonable then the one in Highworth. Also good to sit in and have a meal if you don't want a take away. Chicken biryani and garlic chilli chicken our favourites along with very good onion bhaji.

First time at this restaurant last night, took young family along with mum-in-law who is local and had heard great things about this place. Booked our table for 7pm, all fine. Arrived, taken to a table set in a little alcove area near an unused door with boarded up windows..!! Food though was lovely in my opinion, we ordered fish and chicken dishes,other family members with us ordered lamb which they found too dry and chewy. Wine lovely and service so far was great, until as were finishing our main courses...suddenly we had our bill slapped down in front of us and a sudden rush of clearing our table, even though we were less than two hours in, literally just put down our cutlery and were still enjoying our drinks, chatting and hoping to have been offered dessert/coffee/more drinks. No chance, it became apparent that there was a small party of people waiting to sit at our table. There was one chap belonging to this party who kept coming over, glaring at us, willing us to hurry out. It was so intimidating. Was about to mention this to the manager when I realised he too was glancing over in an intimidating manner. It was really quite shocking and something I've never experienced before. Do they have different timed sittings? I don't think so as they never mentioned this at time of booking and there is no mention on their website. So, our much looked forward to relaxing evening was spoilt by the knowledge that our presence wasn't wanted. * Must mention the low rating is for the awful way we were treated and not the food, but we won't be returning here unfortunately.

We only got a takeaway but my goodness what an amazing Indian restaurant! The food was by far the best Indian food I've ever eaten. Really good selection of food and all freshly prepared. They were so very understanding and helpful when I raised my dietary requirements and allergies. Great place!

I have been eating from kushi since they opened and I have never had a bad meal..the food is always fresh and delicious..I have moved and I can't find anything like kushi in surrounding area, so I travel just for the food and service and have recommended friends to go and they all have the same experience...truly excellent.
