Time's may not be the best for them right now. But have patience..I've known these guys for 30 years...They have always put you..the customer first...I was there tonight.. Shaboo cooking..yeah slow service....But the best curry I've ever tasted....So please people go there...but please be patient 🙏......coz it's worth it.

Four of us ate here last night. It was very busy as they had a staff shortage. We waited quite a while, but the food was very good and the waiter was lovely

Delicious Indian food - highly recomended

We ordered our meal as 6.20pm was told it would be ready 7.15pm, had to wait till 7.45pm. Got home starter was freezing, we had ordered 2 chicken tandoori meals when opened bag there was no curry sauce for either meals. Customer service was dreadful

Discusted with the service I have just received. Rang to place an hour at 4.45, to be told hour wait, that was not an issue, you expected that. What you dont expect is to get home to find the steak you have order is freezing cold and chips missing from order. So when i was handed the replacement the owner trying to be little me in the FULL restaurant. No social distancing and plenty of men all sitting in there enjoying a pint. !!!! Discusting way to run a business. I will not be returning. And this post will also go on other sites too .

A lot of people say the food is realy good, i just dont know how good as every now and then i work here and its sort of food for me as home cooked meals with the help of my mother and the rest of my family cooks the same sort of style.

This is our favourite local restaurant, normally just get a Take out and eat home but still get a nice service. Staff are always very friendly and recommendations are always on point! Price is good and portions and just perfect. Can't recommend this place enough.

Very friendly staff and well tasting Indian food with decent size portions and good prices. This is on my top 3 list of restaurants to eat in or take away in Childwall. The only not so good thing is that they don’t do deliveries, otherwise 5 stars.

Nice local Indian resturant. When we first walked in, a guy on the front desk was disinterested in our arrival. He sat us in the corner which was unclean with dirt and stains over the walls and crumbs scattered across the tablecloth. We ordered drinks, but he was preoccupied and seemed to pay little attention to us. We got our drinks, and a few minutes later, other waiters came on shift who knew what they were doing, so we avoided the original care-free slightly rude waiter. The food was great, the manager was funny and friendly. The decor was very nice.

Amazing the Khalisa provides a great friendly service catering for both customers dinning in and takeaway . The food is freshly prepared so for takeaway its best to phone ahead ensuring your order will be ready for collection on arrival. If you enjoy fine Indian cuisine i would recommend you check out the Khalisa you will not be disapointed. Only wish a delivery service was available.

Weekend football on the telly with lots of shouting and swearing from fans sitting in front of it. Not quite the nice quiet meal we expected as a couple. Staff actually tried to seat us with the group of football fans! Food was nice though. I'll stick to Spiceways in future. It was the same when we went to get a takeaway. Football restaurant

Not been for a long time. But wen we did go wat a place food and staff great not a bad pint ten out of ten .

Quite a pleasant meal. Thought we'd try local as we're just around the corner. We felt the pricing on par with upper market Indians in Woolton, whilst the quality and service wasn't quite there to justify it. Had an enjoyable evening however, staff friendly.

Was quiet enough when we went food was good

Wonderfully warm atmosphere with staff full of character remiscient of Fawlty Towers (!) and the most delicious Indian food that I have tasted. Have brought numerous friends and family (including grateful grandparents) who all have raved about the quality of the food and are always keen to visit! Lovely local business and proud to support.

The best! Tikka Masala with a bit of extra spice (ask for it) is outstanding, as is the Jalfrezi, Kharai, Bhuna and Madras. Brilliant food and a great set of lads.

Went there tonight with my daughter whilst visiting her at Liverpool Hope University for the weekend. Really excellent food and service. Also really good atmosphere with lots of locals coming in for takeaways. If you like Indian food it is worth a visit.

Advised to go by a friend, went on Friday night, we were the last ones in and when the food came it was delish. When the bill came it was so cheap and then we couldn't get a cab because it was raining so they gave us a lift home, this place is FAB. Thank you Jim Welsh for telling us to go.
