KFC Michaelwood - M5 North Services in Stroud

Absolutely awful!!! First guy was drumming his fingers as I went to pay as was impatient, food was served practically instantly very dark, overcooked and chips were cold. Was just garbage service and garbage food! Will be one to sboid if on the m5!

Horrific. Constantly missing parts of orders, and most recent visit the kiosks had been turned off an HOUR before closing. Will never stop here again unless needing to use the toilet.

This is a good KFC franchise, the fast service and food are great, friendly staff and quality hot chicken meals. Shared dining areas with Subway and Burger King, but with plenty of seating, some with pleasant views across the motorway towards the woodland. Standard KFC menus with plenty of options to please everyone. Michaelwood services facilities are all at hand here and always enjoy our visits here. This franchise recommended, especially if love KFC.

Possibly the best KFC that we’ve ever had! Big family order - clearly freshly prepared as piping hot. Food was delicious and came out very quickly. Plenty of clean tables. Top marks!!

Louise was working her socks off bless her and still bossing the it!! What a lovely helpful lady. She hoovered and cleaned everything better than my ocd mam does which means a lot x thank you Louise for being so lovely and kind because of you and Cristina I’ll definitely be coming back x thanks for making good from a bad situation 😁

A very poor experience. The chips were tasteless and the chicken greasy. The worst part however was one of the electronic order points emitting a constant loud beeping noise, which the staff did nothing at all to fix, even when asked. All of the seating is close to the order points and it's impossible not to hear the constant beep.

Tried to order meal but the soda drinks are only diet, asked staff why only diet drinks , answer was 'we don't know why" so I dropped rest of meal and had burger only. It was a cold and very dry fillet tower

Possibly the worst fast food place for service and quality of food. I bought a Teriyaki thing that was basically a cold bit of chicken on some manky lettuce half squirted with a brownish sauce. It looked like it had been chucked together by a blind one armed vegan as a protest. Nothing like the advert. The staff all looked like they hated being there so I felt there was no point bringing this to there attention at the time. I would have had better meal if I had rummaged through the bins at Burger King! True waste of hard earned money.

I watched a young man eating a cookie in the meal prep area. Hand in mouth then pick up a bun with the hand he put in his mouth to prep a meal. No gloves, no washing of hands beforehand. Eating in a meal prep area isn't what i expected to see. It's disgusting!

It's a service station so not much atmosphere. It's alot more expensive than a normal kfc. I'm nit sure I'll be driving to this 1 anymore. This is the closest 1 to us but I'd happily drive an extra 3miles to get a better price.

4 staff behind the counter getting paid to laugh and giggle. Ordered a £2.60 odd cup of Pepsi max. Given a cup full of ice just 1 inch below the top with minimal drink. Cut some staff out as they are wasting time and spend the money keeping customers satisfied. Never visiting again!!

The place really is a dive! Terrible service and today I shocked them with an order for gravy…. Sorry no gravy! Every time there is an issue of some sort.

£6.99 for the smallest chicken fillet burger meal.. smallest portion on the worst chips. UK motorway services are the pits! There is no real food to be had in these places. 😔

Awful service. After waiting 25mins for food gave up and got a refund. Staff just couldn’t cope.

Pretty poor, frankly! Ordered 3 piece meal, the classic KFC offering, been waiting 10 mins and then was told it would be 15 mins, still waiting!

Contactless didn't work on self ordering machine. Waited over 30mins for food. That's not fast food. Food was cold. Large fries were tiny. Hint: on a bank holiday weekend, have more staff on and be prepared for a busy day!

Busy, but clean. No queues for the ladies & plenty of free cubicles. Waitrose had no queue either, really friendly staff & was priced as you'd expect. Plenty of parking. Actually thought it would be far busier at just after 2 on a Saturday!

Very slow service, head hairs in the chicken piece, wrong Pepsi max, chips were fine.

Worst kfc I’ve ever been to, save money and go to Burger King instead. In an order for two people they managed to miss out 3 of our items and some how they managed to not put a bun on one of our burgers.

The self seveive was broken and we informed them and the women who was told just shrugged her shoulders amd pulled a face there Chicken was undercooked In the twisted wrap chips where hard as a rock the corn on the cob was ment to of been sold my 4.18 pm amd it's now 7.50pm so I don't get why it was even still sat there...was asked what sauce we wanted amd didn't receive them either..they got a blokes order wrong amd he came back and asked to sort it and they where stood slagging the bloke off right in front of us there was a bloke in the back with long hair NO hair need this plaid it's very unprofessional never going there again

Staff were unprofessional, didn't seemed bothered. Had to change my order because they ran out of chicken on the bone. Not impressed.

Closed at 20:00 When the webpage states it shuts at 21:00. Its supposed to be a service station?

Second time I’ve come here and it was closed with no prior warning. Says it’s open on google I was here at 21:30 on Friday evening and was shut.

One of the best KFCs I have visited! If you there, ask for Joe - there are KFC crew members, and then there is Joe! This guy is an absolute star and not only takes your order, but gives you your food too! If you're after a KFC experience, this is an absolute must!

No hot drinks. Slow service. Staff when doing nothing didn't even fill sachet boxes even when they knew they needed to.

Staff touching his nose and beared while he serving foods to the customers. They are not wearing right PPE to protect customers foods. Very bad they’re not bothered. No hair net, no gloves.

Awful. Got order completely wrong, fixed it begrudgingly, still got it wrong. Cleaning staff were friendly, hence +1 star, but have a feeling they were part of service station staff.

colonel sanders would be turning in his grave. Waited 35 minutes for our food which was also wrong. Not all of the food tasted quite right and we didn't get any of our dips we paid for. Also didn't receive any hand wipes spoons ECT which you usually receive. Just a generally poor service all round. Dosnt even deserve one star.

Terrible service, very slow, and got most of the order wrong! Out of 4 meals, only 1 was correct! Best off avoided!

It's a bit like the zoo, when you arrive at this enclosure all the animals are probably hiding, to scared to serve you, once and a while a meerkat will like his head up but chances are that doesn't mean you're any closer to being served.

They have one person working the front on a Friday an absolute joke!!!

On the way back from holiday we decided to stop off at KFC. This is the worst KFC we've ever eaten from. We stood at the counter for 5 minutes while the cashier pops off. She messed up ordering so much and she tried to charge us extra so many times. With the double down she put extra cheese and bacon on. I said i want the double down with cheese and bacon because thats what its called on the board. She then asked if i want the drink large when actually the double down meal just comes with a regular? Very very awkward. Guess what the double down was barely warm ffs. My reg Pepsi max was spilling everywhere cause it was over flowed. 4 flies flying round the counter and kitchen put me off for starters. Seriously KFC get this one sorted asap.

Very limited menu due to delivery issues

Chicken dry and skin soggy, no real taste to it. Had far better in other Kentucky Fried Chicken establishments. Unlikely to eat here again
