Kfc forfar in Angus

I order a 10 piece bucket from the drive through only to get home to find out of the 10 pieces I had 1 leg no breast and the rest seem to have very little Chichen on the bones for the £20 price tag we not be using this place again.

Recently decided to end my boycott of KFC and give it another chance, following two separate visits at other locations where I felt ripped off and bitterly disappointed. Unfortunately, nothing has changed! No issues with the staff - friendly enough. The cleanliness was to a good standard as well (a problem experienced elsewhere in the past). However, as the price continues to rise to ridiculous levels the food, surprisingly, goes the other way! Next to no Fries these days (literally two handfuls) and the Chicken on this occasion was overcooked (the coating in particular). My go to is normally the ‘Mighty Bucket For One’, which was a bargain just a couple of years ago. However, the Pieces I tried lacked meat content. My Mayo Chicken chaser was pretty much all Lettuce. I’m officially back on the KFC hiatus and to be honest, doubt I’ll be back any time soon. A real shame!

Very busy so took some time to get served at drive thru. As soon as I got to the speaker to place my order I got told to just go to the next window (without placing my order) I then sat for a further 15 minutes waiting to get to the last window. The boy serving asked was my order and named items, I said no, I just got told to come around. I then got asked if I could drive around again and place as he thought I was still the same car that previously ordered. So he said can I drive around and place again. The queue of cars was already out into the car park and the time I was waiting originally the first time around I definitely was not planning on waiting any longer, especially with my five month old baby in the car. Shocking service, and not even an apology.

I arrived to the drive through at 10.15pm after a long shift at work. My order was taken and I was instructed to drive round to window to pay. When I arrived at the window, I was about to pay, then a member of kitchen staff informed me there was a 25 minute wait for the order. I only wanted a burger, fries and gravy! I didn't realise they had to catch and slaughter the chicken before cooking it. Poor show

Visited tonight and ordered two meals on the App. The App failed payment so went to counter, staff not the friendliest but put order through till, then the App decided to work so had to refund. Funny how the price difference is nearly £2 more on the app! Meals were cold, zinger was dry, chips were like they'd been left for ages to keep warm. This is the second KFC we've visited in the last few months, both meals were disgusting, and we won't be stepping foot in one again!

Do not go this place needs a full overall of staff no manners meals are cold and chicken dry service is terrible orders are always mixed up with folks in front of you, our meal sat for ages on counter complained about it being cold they replaced order which was dry cold and atrocious keep your money and go elsewhere

Everytime I go here there's something. Never usually write reviews but awful customer service went to drive thru hears and gets my order wrong and something wrong with kfc app. I wasn't even getting angry or annoyed but he got my order wrong and I even told him twice cause the price is wrong he just kept saying that's what the till says, and I'm like well the ORDER must be wrong then, I'm not saying the price is wrong for what you inputted into the machine. Okay everyone makes mistakes.. But once he gave me the right order bad enough he doesnt say sorry for everything he doesnt even say thank you or bye and slams the window in my face. I use to work in a take away and that is just ridiculous!!

Visited KFC in Forfar this evening. Ordered two meals costing £15.88. The person charged me £16.28. He could not explain the difference. The Very Rude manageress came through from the kitchen area to see what was wrong. She said that the prices had gone up and the boards had not been updated. A very rude person to be in charge of an establishment like KFC. Avoid Forfar KFC at all cost.

This KFC never ceases to amaze me with how utterly bad it is. If only I had the patience to wait for McDonalds next door where most others go. KFC is normally my fast food choice however when you wait ten minutes to be served when nobody is before you waiting to order, it isn’t fast food any more. We have found it’s actually much faster to do a drive through, park the car then come in to the seating area than park, order inside and sit in. Very few staff seem to genuinely have interest, the online app doesn’t work, the restaurant badly needs a clean, the toilets are minging, things are often missing from the menu and the systems are more often down than up. Chips are never piping hot either. In short, if you go here, do the drive through, it’s faster than going in or to McDonalds, you don’t have to deal with the dirt or the toilets, just the limited menu, the system not working and cold chips. Oh and the sticky dirty floors, uncleared tables, unswept floors, dirty glass, etc etc.

I walked into this kfc after having a rough day. I was cheerfully greeted by Jack. He could tell that I was not in the best of ways. He was extremely nice and funny to me. On his break he came over to see how I was and sat next to me and chatted for a while. He really brightened my day. I noticed that he is young and determined. He is a great worker and a nice guy. He deserves a promotion.

I eat KFC and though i had been in the worst in Stirling, but Forfar is terrible. Clearly know far and wide as the lack of customers shows. The owner & management must be blind to the staff and the terrible KFC they manage to hand over which can be dry, overdone and actually cold.

Very quick service. Food was ready immediately - literally 30 seconds wait - that's all. One of the screens was off so we had to ask for the sandwich offer. Staff behind the counter given us full info on what's available. Fries - very good - fresh and hot - have been warned by staff twice that these just came out of the fritter - seconds ago. Staff on the floor with cleaning spray and table cloth wiping out tables - that's very, very unusual sight to see in that kind of restaurants here in UK (standard in Europe!) so well done people for keeping your restaurant clean inside and outside. The only downside was the bun which was cold.

Door greasy, floor sticky (all of it) tables left not wiped. All looked upon by staff with time on their hands, clearly no passion for providing a good experience, If this is how front of house is run I fear for the cleanliness in the kitchen. Food was cooked sporadically and left to cool as various staff milled around, some items hot others slightly warm. The area manager needs to get a grip of this outlet!

I have used KFC all over the UK and love it. My Visit to this place has left me in doubt if I should ever visit another. Almost a 15 minute wait for food (sitting in). Fries were just about warm at best. In that time, two empty tables opposite me were heaped with leftover food, boxes cups etc and not cleared in that time. Eventually, the slowest and most unkempt member of staff comes out, clears the tables, drops used napkins on the floor and seat which he leaves and does NOT wipe the used tables but goes back to the till to serve without cleaning his hands! Last but not least, the toilets were a health hazard. Water, urine and tissue all over the floor and my wife tells me the female toilets were no better. Awful.

They give me the drinks unlike McDonald’s forfar over to it because when we order a McDonald’s we get the wrong order but kfc nope kfc forfar is better than McCrap

One star is too much. Extremely poor service. Our past three visits the order has been wrong each time. Staff don’t seem to know what the are doing. Won’t be back

Asked to wait a few seconds at the drive thru order speaker ,waited nearly 5 minutes. Only one other car there . Order was taken by a very abrupt young lady. Order was thrust and me and service window shut immediately. All very unfriendly and disinterested attitude. This seems to be the prevailing culture at Forfar KFC. Plenty of other fast food outlets in the vicinity, I will be going everywhere in future.

We needed a quick bite to eat whilst driving down from Aberdeen so we stopped in at KFC in Forfar. Ordering was simple as we knew what we wanted, not that long a wait to get our food. The food was hot, order was correct and it staved of the hunger till we were back in Perth.

Currently sat waiting in a queue to pay & collect order. Now 30 minutes since we joined the queue. Don't know how they can claim to be a fast food restaurant!

The kids like KFC in Forfar ... so off there this week for a wee treat. The Nine Year Old Boy likes the Chicken Popcorns, so he had that as a kid's meal with Chips and a Drink at £3.99 The Seven Year Old would only have a Cheeseburger that was charged also at £3.99 ... oh, and he would have the same Fizzy Orange Drink as his brother, which I assumed would be included in his kid's meal (which was made clear to the girl behind the loudspeaker) but, inevitably, it was not ... causing the second drink to be another 99p.

Worst KFC ever I travel around Britain and this has to be the most disgusting ordering a box of food I got back and opened the gravy my gran has better tasting deep fat in her fryer and she died 10 years ago KFC don’t sell me your deep frying lard and call it gravy it is dicusting and when I buy a box I expect your brain dead lackies to have put some salt and a refresher wipe in there your manager has no clue sack them.

Went in yesterday for a quick lunch only for them to mix up my very basic order of a salad box. On previous occasions they have confused my order of a snack box for a rice box so taking orders clearly isn't they're strong point! They have also previously served lukewarm food and have a habit of running out of supplies. If you're looking for a half decent service I would give this place a miss.

We came in here for a late lunch,had to queue for 25mins to take the order and another 20mins to get the food which was cold,Also the tables/floor was a total mess.Wish I had read the reviews before we came here..

Now I know you are not paid a high wage for working in KFC or any other fast food joint but when customers come in and have driven from The top of the Island a smile can go a long long way to a lonely traveller. I tried desperately to find a smile in here, so I ate and left just as lonely as I had been when I went in. Smiles don't cost anything so the staff should try it sometimes !

My dinner was horrible it dident even taste right the chips were soggy and had skin on them wouldent recommended this place

Again, at the kid's behest, we visited the Forfar outlet of KFC ... which used to be called Kentucky Fried Chicken ... yesterday. As we carefully explained our wishes to the nice and patient girl behind the counter, the boys kept interrupting but left the lady unfazed ... and their fare arrived with surprising efficiency. A wee bit peckish myself, the server suggested a dish she called "Three Boneless Dippers" from, declared her fulsome paper receipt, "The A La Carte" section of Colonel Sanders also-large menu. And, on tasting these beautifully white chicken flesh offerings, I am glad she chose them for me. For just under four quid, they proved a meal in themselves, albeit a sticky fingers job. All in all, our visit was a tremendous success and KFC filled both our bellies and our high expectations.

Everyone likes chickeny things ... and especially the two kids I was in charge of the other day. Picked them up from the school and as soon as they got in the car they demanded that I make good my forgotten-about promise to escort them to Colonel Sanders' Forfar Outlet, now commonly known as the KFC ... though the origin this famous acronym is absolutely of no interest to the present under-ten generation. What they do want, however, is to do childish things without a hint of adult supervision and to eat boys-own food-like stuff which they can order from the boy learning the ropes ... and fend for themselves ... provided they also have in tow the requisite grandad to pay the girl at the till (who, incidentally, looks only slightly older than them.) Great fun was had by all, I can assure you and the boys were sated, at least, for an hour.

Called in at tea time after a long journey and not wanting to get caught in the commuter traffic in Dundee. The food was typical KFC and the staff member was polite and helpful. The only thing that was not so good was the condition of the seats. They really could do with a reupholstering. I would call in again. Come on KFC get the place smartened up.

The family and I stopped along here for lunch while passing and was greeted by a man that would not speak up so we could hear him and found ourselves smiling and nodding but not sure what too.

You would think, when confronted by a mature adult with two under-ten boys, that any KFC employee worth his wages would be cool and ready to assume that the kids would have kiddie meals and the adult would probably not.  When I sauntered into the Forfar branch yesterday with grandsons two, the boy in command of orders, probably a part-time school-kid himself, found a fund of flummox with my clear request for happyish meals two and an adult portion of chicken bite-things for myself.  In any case, an only-slightly more mature female staffer, sensing her colleague's dismay, all but physically shoved him aside and decorated the air with the usual well-designed Colonel Sanders' pitch ... and all was well.

The 1 staff member in the front seems to be on a go slow. Service is terrible as usual. I think KFC need to teach their staff how to welcome customers

T'was a rainy day in Kirrie and we had two under-eights in our charge. What were we to do with them? Well, at four in that hoary miserable moment, just when it was beginning to darken ... this very precipitous afternoon, we bundled them into the car and set off for the Colonel Sanders' Outfit at Orchardbank in nearby Forfar. The kids chose the venue and we ordered four happy-style meals full of nuggets and chips and fizzy drinks accompanied by nice strawberry or vanilla ice creams of our choice ... which fine feast came freshly cooked and arrived quickly delivered ... with change back (though not much) from our twelve quid. The challenge was answered ... as Marty Robbins, in "El Paso," might have said, "in less than a heartbeat" ... all four meals and that drive had cheered up not only the boys ... but also a pair of adults.

Great food, fast service, helpful staff, clean tables and flooring. My partner loves the KFC gravy, he said that in KFC is the best gravy in the world.

As with most fast food place the food served up is fairly homogenous and this KFC is no different. It was fairly quiet so the food was cooked fresh which is always a bonus.

Afficionados de KFC sin duda tienen sus favoritos opciones de menú sin embargo aunque el servicio era amable y que podrían haber elegido el artículo equivocado comida. Due to location we thought we would try again but this was a mistake. Food is always over cooked coating burned and chicken dry.Every visit we have had. We have also used another local one closer to Dundee and absolutely no problem.Forfar just can't get it right. Constantly empty

What can I say ! It's a KFC ! Friendly staff - quick service - prices reasonable and the boneless banquets .... Tasty and scrummie

Breast was overcooked and dry. We ordered 2 dark and one breast, but got 2 breast and one dark. Had to wait 10 minutes for our "special order".

We bought a bargain bucket and it was awful. Really greasy, the chicken had a strange smell. After a couple of pieces I felt quite ill. The chips were cold but ate them anyway as I really didn't fancy anymore chicken. All three of us hardly ate any. We gave the dogs the majority of it. BIG MISTAKE. Our poor dogs were so ill afterwords. We had been up to Forfar to visit family and had a long drive back to Cardiff the next day. We all had upset stomachs and the dogs both made a mess in the car. We should never have given them chicken but thought they might enjoy it more than us. Not sure what went wrong but can honestly say the Forfar KFC has put us off for life. The worst KFC ever and the drive from hell home! Avoid until they sort their stuff out! Food safety training a priority!!!

The staff need to spend some time thinking about customer service and how to keep the place clean. It was not busy at all (see photos) yet there was food lying on the floor under and beside most tables. It doesn't take much effort to keep the floors clean, especially when it's not busy.

Stopped in at this particular KFC earlier today after a shopping trip to Dundee. A very nice atmosphere, pleasant staff clearly happy at their work, clean and tidy premises. Tasty 6 piece Bargain Bucket. For whatever reason the place was undeservedly quiet. We think its well worth a visit if you're in the Forfar area.

Arrived at tea time and seeing the place was half empty compared to the burger joint next door decided this would be our best option for a quick stop whilst we were on the road."No chicken for 20 minutes" was rudely shouted at me as I stood at the till just about to open my mouth and order .....So I ordered 2 latte and 2 cookies to keep us going (we were on the road and really didn't want to add an extra 20 minutes to our journey) and paid on my card.Once paid "only one cookie left" was shouted (really i am not deaf)Refunded in cash we sat down to share our meagre 1 cookie for our tea.I counted 11 other people seated - busy then?I knew I should have gone for a burger next door :(

Good for a quick bite, hot and tasty quick service as you would expect and great prices doesn't appear to be very busy

KFC - it is what it is. Actually, it was us two and only 3 other customers so it was quiet. We had a zinger rice box and a zinger wrap. They were actually decent and fresh. As it was quiet, we were served quickly. The place was clean, again, it was quiet. The thing I really don't like about this place is the décor; everything seems to be grey. It was quite depressing. One thing I would say, with McDonalds, no matter where you go, the food is essentially the same, there doesn't seem to be that consistency with KFC.

We found the staff friendly and more than happy to help but sadly the food was awful. The chicken was so over cooked that we had to throw it out. I sent an email stating our disappointment. I received a short letter back stating that all KFC cook their chicken exactly the same. I sincerely hope not as I had difficulty biting through the coating.

On our way down to Perth from the north east of Scotland we stopped in past the KFC at Forfar. It's not haute cuisine but it certainly filled a hole and kept the kids happy. It is in an ideal location and is a fairly busy place. Cleanliness I have to say was of a very good standard unlike a few others we have gone in past. Competition is keen at that site with a pub style diner and McDonald's next door.

Staff with no manners, can't get order correct, won't be back in a hurray.Extremely rude an uninterested male member of staff served us. Asked if we were take out or sit in, take out requested and bag paid for, meal still delivered on a tray. Coke asked for no explanation re them serving Pepsi! After visited the Glamis castle you can pass here for a quick meal, there is also a McDonald's beside. I've tried burrito, it was OK but nothing special.

Visited the Forfar store on my way home from work, ordered a bucket meal, an extra large portion of beans and large popcorn chicken. Drove 6 miles home to my family and opened the bag - surprise surprise no popcorn chicken or portion of beans!! (However they had not forgotten to charge £4.49 for the missing items. On a positive note the staff are always well trained to charge the money in advance for their food). Customer Care!!! Evidently KFC have trained their staff firstly in fleecing their customers and they still await the training on how to politely deal with customers they have cheated out of their goods. After unsuccessfully looking up the phone number for the store online, I had to phone the customer service number and wait 15 minutes for a reply, to then be told to phone the store direct, again waiting until the guy found the number for me, he did however inform us that the store will put the missing items to one side for us. "GREAT" try telling that to two screaming kids wanting their dinner. At last I'm talking to someone from the Forfar store, explain the situation to the girl "O well just come back and pick it up" she says, after explaining this would result in a 12 mile round trip for me by which time my meal would be stone cold, "That's Just Tough" she says. I suggested I take the whole meal back and they provide me with every thing I ordered freshly cooked so we could sit down as a family and eat, the reply was instant "We certainly won't be doing that" she gasped. Faced with the added expense for fuel and a cold meal I asked what did she think was fair, "Spicy Wings" she offered. Feeling sorry for this company that has fallen on hard times I had to inform her to keep the food and the money as I'd rather spend the time writing a review rather than drive back to Forfar to correct their mistake. Word of advice if you ever find yourself coming out of Forfar hungry, take the first turn off on the round about and then take the next turning on your right, you should see the big illuminated M you will find yourself in McDonald's where you will be treated as a valued customer.

What can you say this is a KFC.However good stop off food was hot and place clean and airy, toilets clean plenty of parking.

Myself and my wife called in on Sunday the14th June 2015. We had to wait around 20 minutes to get served followed by 24 hours of diarrhoea. Will never go back!

gravy is amazing!!! best thing ive ever tasted! chicken is always perfect temperature and so soft! dont get me started on the popcorn chicken! stuff is doss! ah man i flicking love kfc so much!

Used their drive through and ordered 2 Bonless Banquets. We had to wait a really long time (maybe 7 minutes) but the staff were friendly and appologied. The food was really tasty though and cooked perfectly. Just a shame they forgot our tomato sauce that we asked for. We will go back, we'll just make sure we check our food before we drive off next time. Would be 5 stars as the best tasting KFC we've had but had to take away the star for the wait and the lack of sauce! I also found it funny that one of their staff was in the car park taking pictures of someones really nice maclaren car on his smartphone...not very professional but I can't complain really, it was an amazing car!!

Food Review - Friday 3 April 2015 Location - This is situated beside the A90 beside Forfar. Car parking - There is a good sized car park. To Book Or Not To Book - We did drive through. The drinks - Pepsi Meal - Lunch. The food - Boneless chicken deluxe meal. We were told at point of order that they had ran out of gravy which the other half was not too happy about. The food was good. The seating area - There was a large seating area, but we went through the drive through. The staff - The staff member who took the food order was not polite or customer friendly she was quite to the point. It was a quick service. Suggestions - The drive through window needs a good clean, the dirt around the window does not give a good impression. Would we go back - Doubtful.

This place is the pits. Only came as mcds was extremely busy and you can see why. I had never tried this kfc and won't be trying it again. The bins were overflowing with rubbish,the tables were dirty,the floor and the trays. It's disgusting. The food was OK but I wish I hadn't wasted my money here. My son needing the toilet just as we were leaving so I went in with him and marched him straight back ou. No way was I letting him use it. There is no need to let this place be so dirty. I am sure the staff don't stay at home in such a dirty environment so why would they want to work in it. Never again......

Took an age to receive orders. More people standing and waiting than dining. No warning there would be any undue delay for a single meal. One poor couple were left waiting even longer than I was. Felt sorry for the young girl on counter who was most apologetic when handing out food. KFC want to take a good look at their overall operation here. Shambles does not sum up the total inadequacies. Chicken was hot but chips were cold.

Having been ignored in the Dunnichen Stone we came next door and I had a burger and my wife a salad which were good. Excellent coffee and helpful staff.

Went here today with 3 grandchildren because McDonald's was packed and what a mistake it was.The food was Luke warm and table was filthy and empty containers and cups all over the floor, just a total shambles, never been to KFC before and never again.

Went to Kfc several occasions total let down . The food was cold and 3 times my order has been wrong . The staff aint a clue wat they doing . I think the mcdonalds staff need to swap with KFC the place will run much better. I also had to wait 25 minutes in the drive thru for just a drink of Pepsi I was getting late for work that I just drove off . Went to mcds and didn't even take 5 mins. I must say tho I dealt with a man called Scott was very helpfull. That's the only good thing .

After returning home from a lengthy trip offshore I decided to treat the family to a KFC. Went to the one outside of forfar. Long story short my Mrs and three kids and myself all ended up seriously ill from eating here. For a reasonably new store it looks grubby inside. I have never been as I'll as that which stayed for a long time. Ruined our family Christmas as we were all pretty much bedded over the festive period. The only way I would recommend eating here is if u seriously want to lose some weight fast.

We have been here for our tea on several occasions and never had a problem , this evening we went , we usually sit in but it was very busy with a lot of children needing seats so decided to take away , upon dishing out tea realised orders were wrong and cold , went back over to kfc with my wife's meal as it was the worst one , asked to see amanager and she was very apologetic and made up the whole order from scratch herself , at no extra cost , her name is Val seems like she's the only one that knows what she is doing !!

I would be wasting my time trying to describe how bad this place is on all counts! It is merely taking advantage of its location.

Stopped here on way to Glasgow. Intended going to Macdonalds but saw this place when we turned off so ate here instead. Nice clean place. Good choice of food. Good staff. One down point the gents toilet is tiny. You are standing washing hands next to door so would hit you if someone comes in.

Upon our first vist to KFC Forfar we found it pleasant and clean the young gent on till catered to our needs as we had a family member with dietary needs if I remember correct mike was his name but not sure he suggested food that may be suitable and he was great at at pointing out that KFC try to help out the customer overall great place will visit again

stopped in for a snack on the 23.03.14 with daughter, grandson and a friend. Had to ask for the table, highchair and floor to be cleaned. Ten minutes later one person came to clean table and high chair which I then asked for a cloth to clean the high chair properly. I then had to go back and ask for the floor to be cleaned and was told they would get to it when they have finished taken orders. So I then went and found the brush to clean floor myself. I would also point out that the staff that cleaned the table went right back to serving food and I personally think he done this without washing his hands.

I have been a couple of times and there are some concerns. The staff don't look too interested in the customers, food was lukewarm on one occasion and I have to say the taste is not quite the same as the majority of other KFCs I have tried. Not sure why this is the case but overall fairly average. I tend to avoid this place now.

Not impressed! I had a drive through and went to the window where you pay to be told by the girl I should have stopped at the first window, she said she would serve me 'this time'. It was dark, no lighting round the back of the building so couldn't see. I also had a sore stomach for days after eating tea. We ordered the 6 pieces of chicken, got home and only 5. Think the staff here are half daft!!! Better off going to McDonald's!

i ordered 2 meals, i saw the assistant put one bag of chips in the carry out bag, i questioned it and she said i've put 2 in, get home .....one bag not two ....hacked off.... rang the store......not bothered, hence this review.

Have been here a few times since its opened and on every occasion they have got the order wrong. One time I had to go back to the store once I'd already got home as the had left out half the order, 4 fries, 2 corn and a large popcorn chicken. Find all kfcs are like this but this one is the worst ever! It's not rocket science read the order and put it in the bag!

Heard a lot of bad reviews, but my experience over all was good! Food was great! But the guy that served me, I think his name was 'mike' I don't know what he was on but he was not right! His breath was like poison! So I think he need to brush their teeth before leaving the house! I thought he was the manager, until i asked the woman, and she said he was just a crew member. So I think he needs to stop with 'swag' #dannydyerwannabe ? Apart from that my visit to KFC forfar was great

Been 3 times on every occasion has been absolutely terrible , 90% of the staff have an iQ of about 2 , no5 got a clue what there doing !
