Never been here before although i have driven past many times, however i can honestly say for my first time it was lovely service, came in just after a large amount of children had left and the young lad at the counter was still very helpful and welcoming, shame I can't remember his name but it started with an "O" maybe owen or olly? either way he was lovely. food was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Will definitely be returning on my journeys to and from work again :)

Ordered bargain bucket with 6 peices but only got 1 decent peice of chicken and the remaining 5 were drumsticks which we don’t really like with little chicken on them. Disappointed!

I rate this experience not even a 1 out of 5,the service was appalling we order a snack buckets and what we got wasn’t even what we ordered and we just ignored the fact they order was wrong because mistakes happen,yet we move onto the fact their was a brown peace of hair in the chicken rap.As you can imagine that’s is not the best thing to have in your food when all my family are in fact blonde.moving into the fact that the boneless bites wear stone cold we told the staff and complained they went into being so rude and not even a apology we won’t be returning to this place again!!

Excellent quality of food, piping hot, delivered quickly despite being a busy Friday lunchtime. Even got a table with no problem. Price as expected on motorway services.

I like KFC but very rare you get one as well presented as this food wise. Everything was cooked well, not overdone. Tower burger all neat and fluffy if you will. Salad perfect. Seasoning perfect. Wouldn’t normally comment on services but honestly the best KFC I’ve had in years if not ever. Well done.

Fantastic chicken today, it was hot, fresh, moorish, but couldn't eat anymore, asked who was the cook member of staff said her name was Christine, I will definitely making a return visit, customer service was excellent 👍

Ignored for four minutes by three staff for daring to try and pay cash, instead of using a dirty, glitching touch screen. Eventually, I asked for help. He said,‘I’ll be with you in a minute. Four minutes later gave up and used the grimy touch screen. Ten minutes later, small order of soggy ‘fries’ and gristly sandwich arrived. £8.50 down, as I didn’t want a ‘no sugar, no fun,’ drink. Ate half binned the rest. Would give minus five stars, if I could. KFC RIP. They can cluck off!!!

Typical Motorway Service area - big brands, high prices and mediocre standards in almost everything. Having just cleared an 11 mile traffic holdup of almost 2 hours we decided on stopping here for a break. Headed upstairs (the escalator was out of service) to a choice of KFC or Burger King. Not fancying a burger, it was KFC for me. All screens were faulty (isn't technology wonderful?) so no option but to wait. 2 staff serving with one in discussion with a Just Eat delivery guy. Nothing actually seemed to be happening but plenty of animated chat. The other server was sorting out an order and one other couple was in front of me. Eventually it was my turn to order just as a more mature lady appeared to help sort out the Just Eat issue. Clearly needing help, the server who was just about to take my order was dragged in for assistance. Suddenly all 3 were clustered round the terminal in front of me and whatever the problem, it was related to the delivery order. Whilst it only took a few minutes, it was annoying as my wife had been to Burger King, ordered, got her food and was sitting eating her food. Taking my order as the young lad moved away - I presumed to serve the queue that had built up behind me, but no - seconds only and my order was presented to me by the young lad as the "Just Eat" guy reappeared and a further delay began for the folks who had just arrived. In short, the ordering procedure was slow but no complaints about the 'Fast' food though. Biggest complaint here, and in many similar places is the priority given to these on-line services. I do understand why, but it is immensely annoying.

Customer service is horrible. My daughter has food allergies and asked what kind of oil they cooked their chips in. A middle aged lady, assuming the manager, came out from the back and told my daughter to check the allergy list. The info was not on the list she provided my daughter. The manager refused to check the back of their oil container for the ingredients. She did not have time. It was not her responsibility. She was verbally abusive towards my daughter. We left and walked over to the McDonld’s where a nice young man went to the back to check their cooking oil container for us. I will be writing a complaint to KFC corporate offices! You can’t not know or be willing to look for allergens for you clients!!! Unacceptable and dangerous!

The service is slow staff don’t seem to know anything when you ask a question…customer service is appalling. They seem to have no system in place when they are busy and only two members of staff on the front counter. Now no one this is bad..

Called in for meal Order machine took our money then said there was an error. Eventually someone had the decency to ask if we would like to place an order! We told them of the issue but the girl behind the counter didn’t have a clue what to do and insisted we waited for a Manager. This ground everything to a halt and they served nobody until said ‘Manager’ arrived. We were ASSURED that the payment wouldn’t go through so as ASSURED we paid again!!!! The Payment DID go through so totally lied to by a totally incompetent and non bothered ‘Manager’ The restaurant was totally filthy too. Terrible example of KFC!

The food is good but the girl at the collection was blunt and rude. She didn’t even smile, said hello or goodbye.

I had 3 pieces of chicken which were tiny and dry as though they had been cooked a long time ago. The girl serving was the most miserable I have ever known at KFC.. now words, no smile.. she needs to get another job...to make herself happy.

Visited this service station in the summer and was satisfied with the breakfast- from the service from staff, the cleanliness and the meal, there was nothing to fault our visit: However coming for a second time will mean that we will find somewhere else next time. The member of staff who served us was blunt, disengaged and bordered on being rude. Our meals were delivered in polystyrene boxes, there was only plastic cutlery and no serviettes. How do you eat sausages and bacon with plastic cutlery? The meals were also lukewarm. There were china plates on the food area - why could these have been used especially when the “restaurant” area was very quiet -only half a dozen tables were occupied - staff were clearly not “run off their feet”.

What you hope for n a motorway stop off, clean, well-resourced and planned service area with good, no frills customer service.

A great KFC only let down by the absence of a seated area. Strange the bargain bucket comes in a paper bag.

absolutely hard working fast and working on her own it was very busy and claire took my order as I paid cash then went to start packing she was very quick and my order was correct and still piping hot 🔥 very good service and very tasty zinger stacker meal

I visited KFC on my way home from work after a long day and just wanted something quick, I asked for a 3piece meal but was unfortunately told there would be a 20 minute wait, the young lady claire offered me an alternative and upgraded my meal to large for the inconvenience because they weren't busy and she could tell I just wanted to get home i was abit obnoxious towards her and I apologised amd she remained polite and calm eventhough i was abit dissatisfied but when your not busy I shouldn't have to wait for chicken.... but overall 10/10 to claire for being professional but 5/10 because they didn't have what I wanted

Mixed reviews here - it was fine for us. Typical KFC food well cooked and tasty, can't really ask for much more - especially in a Service Area. They weren't very busy so maybe that helped.

Food tasted like actual a**hole I’m bloody livid. Only wanted a bit of scran before we ventured off back home to liverpool cause we’re starvin marvin after a weekend road trip. Even my malteaser krushem tasted dodgy, how’d you possibly manage to f*** that up???

So much choice!, family, whether parents teenagers, and school friends, able to choose as preferred making our visit do food while!

We stopped off at Charnock Richard services, after a very long day attending a family funeral in Cheshire. We decided to have KFC as my husband loves it, although we had never eaten at services before. We were served by a very cocky and somewhat rude yound man who had a distinct southern accent, he had to be told our Grandchilds order 3 times before he actually inputted it correctly, he then told us they had run out of tomato sauce, but we could buy some in a pot for 60p, when I challenged him that this was included in her kids meal he spluttered somewhat then did a complete uturn and decided they had some after all. He also made a rude comment about my Grandaughter chattering, ( she is autustic, he wasnt to know this, but had to be told before he upset her ) but may be needs lessons in customer service. My husband ordered a box meal with 2 extra wings, this came in a bag with no wings. When my Grandaughter opened her meal we found 1 small chicken fillet ( it was miniscule ) and a small bag of skin on chips ( which were not advertised ) we were expecting normal fries. We all left our chips as they were vile, full of eyes and some were raw. When my Husband went to the counter to ask where his 2 wings were, No one appeared to know, a very stressed lady spoke to the guy who took the order and he denied all knowledge, and attempted to say he hadnt served us.... Implying that my husband was lying, Upon producing our reciept, the lady apologised, glared at the guy, then produced my husbands box meal. Which contained the ghastly chips mentioned above. Never will we eat there again.... Disgusted with KFC and their somewhat dishonest staff.

We visited KFC at Charnock Richard services and spent £39.25. One of the meals was an 8 piece dipping bucket at a cost of £17.49. However on our return home there were no dips at all included in the bag, which was really disappointing as it was a dipping meal. I telephoned to express my disappointment only to be addressed in a very rude manner being told there was nothing that could be done. I pursued the issue and was eventually told I might be given a couple of chicken wings on my next visit which was quite frankly an insult. I won't be returning in a hurry and some customer service training is definitely needed. I wouldn't recommend this KFC.

Often stop here when travelling north. Clean services food is always fresh. Sometimes a bit of a queue but what do you expect.

Only good thing was the friendly server but that's about it. Chicken meals served promptly but chicken was dry and the chips not warm and full of green and black bits. Perhaps someone should check the oven temperature before serving and don't let the food stand too long under the heater before serving. As regular traveller will be Burger King next time.

We ordered on the self-service machines, the food arrived promptly. I have been to many a kfc establishement in my time, and this store did not disappoint. 10/10 would smash again.

Lesson learned. When visiting at quieter times I should check contents of take away before getting back in car! Ate at c8.30pm and got tasteless cold chips and a lukewarm zinger tower with gloopy cheese. Most went in the bin. Dreadful. Should have taken back now reflecting on it.

Great KFC with views over the motorway, good friendly service and prices were very reasonable, better than their burger competitors opposite! Kids enjoyed their mini meals and you can’t beat a tub of popcorn chicken in the car for the journey home!

Just wanted 3-piece chicken and chips, variety is the spice of life... Friendly staff, and efficient.

I regularly make the long drive from Glasgow to Birmingham and stop at this KFC outlet.

As it is close to Halloween I thought I may have been a ghost due to being ignored. When the happy assistant (not) took my order he walked off before the transaction was fully complete. On receiving my order and getting back to the car as the restaurant and the counter was filthy I found the order to be wrong - am I surprised! Not really.

At Charnock Richard services on the M6, on the bridge over the motorway I’m enjoying a Burrito Chicken Twister as I watch the traffic rush up and down the motorway.

You know when you are up north as the service you get is warmer and friendlier, today was not exception however I requested a breast piece of chicken and got a horrible sharp boney piece and the cheap paper bag split as I got in the car and nearly deposited the contents on the car floor!

Intentamos pedir un cubo de ganga y me dijeron que no estaban haciendo ya no tenían pollo! ! ! . Cuando me preguntaron que, dijeron, el pollo estaba en el horno y sería otra de 8 minutos. Quince minutos más tarde me preguntó por qué ella me dijo 8 minutos. Ella era entregado y me ofreció una restitución que no era práctico ya que tenía familia esperando la comida. Veinticinco minutos más tarde, finalmente recibí mi pedido, ni disculpa.

KFC is KFC. Not a bad one but the staff never seem that happy. Prices are hiked up but its to be expected in Service Stations. Always seems busier than the Burger King opposite.

Their chicken is so delectable, irresistible and always the best option when on the move. Excellent customer service and negligible waiting time.

have not tried KFC for a few years ,so when we stopped on the M6 we tried it .it was very busy so I went to auto serve . no problems ordering .very fast service ,and very nice tasty fresh food . so would go again .

Always long queues and poor service. Usually have to wait ages to get served and this is typical in this service station

Good food and was hot normal motorway prices. Only thing that let visit down was they were understaffed and was busy evening in restaurant area

Situated on the bridge spanning between the North and South areas. KFC and Burger King occupy the space. Normal KFC menu. Rather basic surroundings and can be very busy. A good clean wouldn't do any harm.

Visited here for lunch this week on drive north on M6. Was typical KFC menu and quality was good. Service was ok and food was as expected and hot.
