KFC in North Down

Staff friendly, quick and helpful but food simply not up to international KFC standards that we all know so well - its almost like " we can serve them anything - the wont mind the quality". To be specific, the chicken does not come with the usual, trademark, vacuum created crispy coating - it come with a greasy breadcrumb coating which is simply not nice - my problem is as simple as that. Thats it - if you like KFC style chicken, eat somewhere else.

After not eating in KFC after having a bad experience;5 years ago.. today I'm converted Balloo in Bangor beautiful... chicken Tender and obviously oil so clean .I'll deffo be back.. lovely. No more McDonald's for me ever!!!

Been a while since I visited this kfc. Last time was sorry I did. The windows and tables greasy. This time such a difference place spotless. Staff very friendly plus very helpful. Will be back again. Keep it up makes such a difference to your customers to eat in a clean and friendly environment

We all know what KFC’s food is like and unfortunately I like it. I say unfortunately because this is the only one in Bangor and as I generally use the drive through, I only get to check the food when I get it home. Sadly, almost 50% of the time, my meals have something missing, be it the side orders or less chicken that purchased. It so often, that it’s really deterring me from going there as often as I have. When you travel 3 miles to get it, then 3 miles home, it’s hardly worth doing the same 6 mile trip because the gravy is missing but it is a pain in the neck.

would not recommend,stuff not property cooked,staff very slow.they take drive thru orders before the restaurant.wont be back.

I called into KFC this eveing after leaving the hospital where i had been sitting with my son all day, i had not been to this KFC for a long time due to past bad experiences, only wish i had drove on to McDonald's now. I ordered a Zinger box meal with gravy and coke, then drove home, i took a sip of coke only for it to be warm and flat so ended up getting a drink from my fridge. When i opened the gravy it looked like sick and tasted greasy and cold, chips where very nice as where the chicken wings. I left zinger burger to last and was so disappointed, very little mayo and chicken all dried up. I could never recomend this place, left disappointed every time.

Long time since I have been here. Still as bad as ever chicken tasted like it needed an oil change, fries are pretty tasteless gravy was nice though. I think it was the cleaners day off aswell. I'll try again in 20 years time.

What's is the point opening 11 to 11 when they close the restaurant (if you can Call it that) at 10! Food was excellent BUT did not expect to be eating it in my car - serving staff are certainly the issue with a distinct lack of ability).

KFC certainly keep their finger on the pulse and the one person bucket meal had much more than enough finger licking goodness not just for my wife and I but also our hungry sixteen year old daughter. Service was both fast and friendly, the place was clean and inviting and there were. I complaints when we were all finished.

Have been here a few times and can be a bit hit or miss with the chicken - depending on how long chicken has been sitting under heat lamps can sometimes be quite dry. On every occasion we have been in here front of house / dining area seems like no one goes out often enough to clean tables / floors and chairs after people leave, last time we went to sit at the window on the padded seats- table had remnants of the last persons meal and seats were covered in greasy hand prints same for a few other tables & chairs ( at this time there was only us and one other customer in), other things included chips and food debris on floors. Staff were friendly and efficient. The kitchen seems clean, at least the parts that can be seen from the counter area. Maybe a change in cleaning schedules / policy or a new manager would be advantageous for this branch of KFC as it is in a prime location.

Unfortunately this isn't the best KFC I've ever visited (and there have been a few). The staff here aren't very polite and the food quality isn't great - often it's cold (fries in particular) and the chicken skin (the bit we all go for if we're honest!) is often dried out and hard as it's been sat under the heat lamps for far too long. A real shame.

Cold food plus staff who obviously don't give a toss = horrible experience Will NEVER be back. If you do venture to these premises bring your own loo roll!!!

Charged for corn and after taking payment informed my daughter they had none. She asked for the money refunded and was ignored. She was handed order and then looked past by staff while they served next customer. She finally came home and told me. I tried to ring. No answer. This branch makes a habit of charging for items and then not putting them in bag. I dont know how they stay in business. Fries are a mix of soggy cold and burnt crisp. Resturant not very clean. Tables often dirty. Staff can be rude. I wont be back. Said it before but tonight was final straw

I wish I could add the picture that's on my Facebook page. MY CAR KEYS ARE BIGGER! All I can say is I was definitely ripped off. The chicken pieces were so small ; the cup of coke wasn't filled and the chips were cold and hard. (I can't say what you should do but may I urge you to boycott this place. They must be getting over a dozen pieces out of each chicken.)
