KFC in Down

We were on a bus tour and chose to have lunch at KFC in Newcastle. We had to wait at least 15 minutes for the order to be ready. Disappointing because the chicken and chips were barely warm. Didn’t enjoy our meal. Felt we wasted our money. Toilet (only had one) was disgusting. Dirty and floor wet with wee! Smelly!

Served a bucket of a soggy grey chicken and what tasted like microwaved chips. This visit has turned me off KFC for life🤮

What can I say useless stuff no management lack of team leadership and very slow bad service very bad

Was astounded when the bill came to £30 at a fast food joint for a couple of meals to take away. Prices have fairly shot up! I could hear the customers in front complaining about the extortionate prices of their food too. You would nearly be better off eating out in a proper restaurant for nearly the same price as a few popcorn chicken meals. To top it off, my order was also missing food items that were paid for.

Me and my son went to get food for us and our cats! We got zinger box meals and miss whiskers got hot wings, food was very tasty and hot and the staff were so friendly. Miss whiskers couldn’t get enough!

The food was ok and the sit in area was clean which was good but the problem I had with this KFC and I will never go back again because of it was the rude staff member I believe his name was Calvin. He was shouting at what looked to be a 17 year old employee and it was so unprofessional of him as there was a line of customers waiting to order and he wasn’t helping the poor girl at all he was just shouting at her. I tried to make a complaint to the manager about it but she just turned around and walking away after hearing my concerns. I heard someone call her name I believe it was areen or something like that but safe to say I will never be returning

I bought a 4 piece variety meal yesterday the 13 July 2022 and I must say this was terrible it was not what you are supposed to get the number of chips was 6 ? There was a lot of people about and they didn’t care

I was served in this KFC last weekend by a boy I believe was called Owen. He was incredibly helpful and recommended me different meals which he believed were suitable for me to feed to my cats without judgement. I felt so welcome and the food was delicious. I will be visiting again

Greasy tough chicken and forgot our coleslaw 🙄 couldn’t even bite through the chicken worst I’ve ever suffered from a kfc and while you’re waiting you may lose your appetite anyway at the view of the disgusting bin area the place is filthy! Never again the car is still recovering from me setting the box on the dash 🤢

Disgusting, the staff don’t wash there hands and the place is just ugh. Amazingly it didn’t kill me but probably came close

Had a great kfc. Staff friendly and food served quickly and at a hot temperature. Unable to sit in due to covid but enjoyed our meal sitting at the sea front.

Came here last night for a bite. Chicken breat was way too salty, chips were too plain. My grandmother said it was bad as well

Called in here the other day. It took ages to get served as only one guy taking the orders and serving up. This was a peak time so not good enough. The place is disgustingly dirty. Can’t understand how they get away with this. This is a busy seaside town so this is definitely not good enough. Will not be back.

When we were in a member of staff was washing the floor with the dirtiest mop I’ve ever seen the toilets were absolutely disgusting the smell the condition we would have had to wade through dirty water to there, I took all the kids and left

Hope your not in a hurry,very slow and don't always have chicken. Eating area is not always clean and the staff seem uninterested in their customers.Opening times are pitiful.

Absolute joke, visited in September and was given a very unprofessional impression by staff on their phones standing in the area behind the counter. Having waited around 5 minutes I was finally served by a less than keen man in a black shirt who seemed he just wanted rid of me and my family as I was actually giving him and the other staff something to do as the place was dead, not a surprise to be honest. The table was covered in red sauce and crumbs but was the best of a bad bunch so we had to make do. Food took around 20 minutes for "chicken to be cooked" even though this was KFC which primarily serves chicken and is a fast food chain. I do hate to go on but things only got worse as the chips where freezing and chicken very greasy and seemed under cooked. I went to the counter to get another drink as we didn't receive one from the kids meal and I was greeted again by employees standing in a circle hollering and creating ruckus, now I am a 50 year old woman and have heard a lot in my time but the language was disgraceful I got the drink and left shortly after as I did not wish to stay longer. I'm from the Newry area and the KFC there is not great, but is a strong improvement from this sad excuse of a "restaurant". Whoever oversees the running of this KFC and others in the area needs to step up big time and sort out this disgrace of an establishment and others like it. Just before I forget the toilet is a case for environmental health.

Mi esposa tomó una noción para la comida sucia louisiana burger, así que nos dirigimos a uno en la calle principal. Siendo el primer día soleado del año, el lugar era imputable a la puerta.Mientras espera el menú estudiados para ver qué la comida involucrados. Yo personalmente no soy un fan de kfc, pero la imagen me puso en el humor para una comida de pollo hamburguesa. En todo el lugar buscando encontré que parecía recién renovado y limpio. Llegamos a la barra después de unos minutos lo que fue bueno, teniendo en cuenta la multitud, y pedí 2 comidas sucias louisiana Burger. El hombre dijo que era sólo una promoción y no fueron ellos haciendo más! Por que fue en la radio ese día y una señal de neón con anunciado en el shop? ? ? De todos modos nos dieron algo similar 50 p más y comimos. Era bonito, pero no podíamos evitar sentir engañado sobre la comida se describe.

Worst kfc I have ever been to. I have been to many. Absolute disaster. Definitely should have opted for kfc Carryduff...

Really disappointed with our local KFC ... the restaurant looked as if it had not been cleaned for a week, we were going to eat in but it was dreadful so changed to take away ... will not be back ...

Este definitivamente no es el KFC mejor en el que he estado. La comida está bien la tienda en sí es bastante pequeña, así que no hay mucho sitio para sentarse, pero siempre puedes pedir para ir y sentarse en un banco o si vas en coche al coche.

Standard KFC but very shabby. LONG overdue a make-over. Cold, cold wind comes in from a vent in the side wall. Upstairs is available when very busy. Staff - not as good as other KFCs.

Well first things first, I walked over to the counter and there was chips all over the floor I was thinking into myself what's going on here anyone could trip and break there neck if they had of walked on them

Visitamos aquí con mi amigo y tenía la zinger comida. Fue la peor comida que he tomado en un Kentucky Fried Chicken pero comimos que de todos modos ya que no he comido todo el día y tenía hambre. A un par de horas me mejores amigos con el baño. 3 días más tarde todavía estoy enfermo. seguro para decir que sufrieron intoxicación de esta rama, ya que me desanima KFC para la vida sin mencionar pérdida de ingresos por estar enfermo. Nunca hacer una queja pero realmente me odio para un niño o alguien mayor de enfermar como la intoxicación alimentaria puede matar! Nunca comer KFC otra vez!!

Mi esposa y yo fuimos a KFC en el MetroCentre hace unos pocos los sábados. Nos hizo cola durante siglos llegar al mostrador sólo para encontrar esta franquicia no llevar el 'Big Daddy' en el menú.

My 10 yr old daughter and I visited this KFC Sunday 24/5/15 (bank holiday weekend). We arrived around 12:30 and had our lunch there. We found the restaurant spotless, the staff friendly and helpful and the food lovely and piping hot just as it should be. It started getting busier shortly after we arrived but the queues were handled efficiently as far as I could see. Would definitely go back.

Visited in July, was queued to the door and staff were very slow in turning out the food and getting the queue down to a manageable level, we had quite a wait. This would not have been so bad had it not been for the other failures, floor was strewn with fallen chips, napkins etc. sticky floors... the toilets were disgusting! Didn't really have the option to sit in either, tables were full, people were walking out without clearing their trays and rubbish and could have been doing with wiping down with a damp cloth to be honest. I get they may have been under pressure and busy but it only takes one member of staff to go out and wipe down the empty tables and try and mop out the bathroom floor which had puddles of water, or what I hoped to be water anyway! Wasn't one of my best experiences of eating out in this place.

I just placed an order at 7.24, den went to cfc to get milkshakes, came back at 7.32 to order the new chicken meal and was told dey closed at 8.00 and the next thing i knew the lights where turned off not good considering i get food every thursday, i'm a restaurant manager myself and this was so unprofessional, so i phoned the complaints line and they took my details

All I can say is this place is absolutely disgusting. The toilets or should I say one toilet is absolutely minging I have never seen such a flithey toilet in all my life. Why is this place still allowed to remain open? Its a disgrace.

Went there recently with my 3 daughters. Must say it was the dirtiest KFC I have ever been in. At the counter I was actually stuck to the floor. But what struck me was how bad the toilets where. Absolutely disgusting.This place needs a major renovation before I would go back near it.Boke.com
