Keds Cafe Bar in Caerphilly

Lovely little cafe/bar, stunning food and great atmosphere.

Oh my God, this place is amazing. Although I have only had breakfast there, there is no where else I would go now. It is a little cold this time of year, but the warm welcome every one is always given helps with that. The welcome is Not quite as warm as it was when the lady sign about the place, but still the best in Caerphilly 😁 April 2024- I now has new owners and the prices have increased a little, new staff & new menu, but all looks fine, food is still lovely and they have already made more room & made addition's to the seating. Should still be the great place we are used too. I do really miss the waitress that used to sing along all the time with the good music they play. She really perked up the overall atmosphere 😁

It’s not a very good bar, clientele are mostly idiot kids during the night. Not a fan, never understood why it’s popular. Prices could be better aswell.

We had our daughters 16th birthday party at keds on the weekend. I can not thank the staff and team enough. They went above and beyond to help. The buffet was absolutely amazing and great value. The atmosphere was fantastic and the bar staff were wonderful. Everyone had an awesome night and we were over the moon that our daughter was made to feel so special. Thank you once again to Rachel, Lucy and the rest of the team we will be seeing you again soon.

Very disappointed that it was a private party and people came up and was eating the buffet food, Even one of the staff came up and help there self to food, I think one of them was the manager or the owner that had a full a plate of food and dropped an onion ring on the floor and through it back on the tray, discussing. Should be ashamed of them themselves. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worse enemy.

Hats off to Amy in the kitchen, I always ask for a made up breakfast, I appreciate that this can be awkward for the kitchen especially at busy times - however Amy always delivers! Best place in caerphilly for breakfast!

Large breakfast was absolutely banging, all cooked perfectly, bit pricey but everywhere is at the moment.

Had my Birthday Party upstairs on Friday 30th June. The staff were all amazing, helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was fantastic, made extra special with a live singer and I was able to put my chosen playlist on before and after. Great around and would definitely hire again. 😊

Had a medium breakfast this morning. Sausages were the stand out but the quality of everything on the plate was high and cooked to perfection.

Surprisingly very good venue for a party. Wasn't expecting it and really enjoyed the evening as we were well catered for.

Great place for a night out. Weird location, in the middle of an industrial estate, behind Peters pies, but great atmosphere. Good selection at the bar which is reasonably priced. Has entertainment at the weekends and the food, especially the burgers, is excellent and very tasty!

Lovely quality breakfast and friendly welcome. Definitely a fav for breakfast.

Found this cafe bar recently, love the place, owner and team are really welcoming. Good for a game of pool (free) and darts. Looking forward to their live music nights

Had the breakfast roll, as did everyone else did in the office, and all said the same thing. over priced. hardly anything in the roll, not worth £6.

This is my second time here, excellent service and the food was great. Also went to a 40th birthday party on a Saturday night and that was lovely.

Friendly staff , lovely environment, 1st visit, food not the best, avocado was like mush! The breakfast appeared all dried up like reheated and majority of it burnt and really greasy!! Room for improvement. Should have taken some pics 🙄

Not great ordered eggs florentine which at table was told we haven't any spinach but you could have avacado turns up a very under cooked poached egg on toast with no avacado no Hollandaise !! I ordered a large breakfast which turned up hardly warm and parts burnt !! I think I'd you run a very limited menu you should at least have ingredients will not return way too expensive for very badly cooked food

Brilliant night at Keds to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday. Private party with Gareth & his team providing the buffet & beers whilst we sorted the band & balloons. Keds team were helpful, accommodating and went out of their way to ensure that we all had a fabulous evening, Thanks all !!!

Awesome place !. Friendly , down to earth staff . Huge space for car parking. Highly recommended .

My partner went in to order some sausage and egg sandwiches and because she asked for her egg sunnyside up as soon as she went by the door she over heard the staff saying that is disgusting and then proceeded to talk about the rest of the order I understand people have their opinions but keep it to yourself absolutely unprofessional and very unlikely to order from there again with that customer service

3 visits , 1 panini and 2 large breakfasts and I can't wait to go back , absolutely awesome service and food, decor fantastic, clean tidy n professional, can't wait to visit again which won't be long 🤞👏👏👏👏

Lovely tea and coffee but the American burger was like a burger van offerings. The chips were good though.

We had a meal and drinks on Friday night and had a brilliant time watching the live band. The food was excellent and all at a very reasonable price too.
