Kebabish Peri Peri in Oldham

Husband and I visited here for an early dinner. We decided to try the Darbari platter which had been recommended by a friend and side orders of naan. The platter was nicely full with two curries, a couple of starters and some chips. The chicken in particular was delicious and the naan is always tasty and authentic. Again a great meal here.

Husband and I have eaten a few times here recently after a recommendation, it’s hit the mark every single time. It’s ideal for those times you want a quick, informal authentic curry. The service is fast. The prices are reasonable and the food is always on point and very tasty, the naan and chicken curry in particular are high standard. If you want something quick and delicious and authentic tasting Pakistani cuisine then come here.

Cold on delivery. Tastes rank. Worse take away food I've ever had the misfortune if having. Never again

I ordered at 8pm, didn’t come until 10.15pm. Really bad service, phoned them and they said they were busy. Kids had to go school next day and they were so ignorant about the whole situation. Why charge £2.50 for delivery. They never made the food until I phoned them twice. Food wasn’t 5 star that I waited 2 hrs for it.

Very disappointing outing lamb didn’t taste like lamb really hard with bitter taste. Really disappointed

Brilliant! The portions are huge and incredibly tasty. Had several dishes; chicken pakora, lamb chops, mixed grill starter (massive!!!), shashlik (wow, tasty) and peri peri half chicken. Really really enjoyed it.

Love the lamb chops and mixed grill from here. Good food, fresh and value for money aswell. Fantastic service.

Portion of curry was small, quantity of price. Otherwise everything was bang on !

Don’t know what happened today but the food was delivered 30min later then the expected delivery time and when it finally arrived the food was cold.

I live not even a mile away bottom of Belmont street and get charged £2 delivery fee and my order was over £7 delivery is a rip off and I won’t be ordering again from here when I order from shaw they do free delivery

Always good food regarding my last review that food was not delivered the driver did try and contact me unfortunately left the review before I saw this. Contacted Just Eat who can’t remove review apologies and hopefully the restaurant can .

Ordered food at 12:37 arrived at 14:19. Stone cold. Which is a shame because it still tasted quite nice so I’m assuming if it was even remotely warm it would have tasted 100% better. Won’t bother again though because 1 hour 42 minutes is a ridiculous delivery time for 1 kebab and some chips

Food was late but the restaurant explained and the man on the phone was very nice, food tastes gorgeous would definitely order again, comes in a nice big cardboard packaging which is great too.

I've ordered from here a few times and I've never had a bad meal and the food is normally lovely. However the other night I ordered the "fried" chicken sizzler sandwich meal, which I assumed would be a spicy southern fried chicken fillet burger but was just infact little pieces of chicken drowned in some not very nice sauce on a muffin which was soggy and falling to bits! I phoned for a refund and was told there was nothing they could do as they was ready for shutting which is fair enough but do not even offer to knock it off our next order! Very disappointing as this is one of my favourite places to order from. I just think it should describe the item more clearer so you know what your actually getting

Absolutely ridiculous,food was late for a start, ice cream wasn’t in “ stock “ apparently but didn’t bother to tell us, or refund it ... ordered a mixed kebab, for nearly £6 and it was a few pieces of meat and one sheeska kebab. Can go somewhere else and get a big share one for the same price. Fuming. Deffo not ordering from these wasters again.

Tandoori lamb chops was nice but it was stil too spicy for the kids despite informing them beforehand by ringing the restaurant. Please next do consider and please make sure that the chef adds less spice whenever it is requested by your customers.

Went end June 2019 the food was not testy. There attitude was not good . they no bother . Never go again.

very dissapointing. have ordered countless times but tonight wasnt the chicken donner was nice but the chicken burger was very bland cold and the chips was cold. and you forgot to give me the can i had ordered as part of a meal. not happy

absolutely disappointed with the food. it wasn't cooked properly, the chips were awful. felt like the burgers were on the fridge for days. disgusted, anyone reading this don't recommend to order from these guys. Ordered arrived late and we didn't receive sauces we paid for!

After waiting two hours and still no food And multiple calls to the restaurant and being told “it’s on route it will be with you in 5 mins” I then rang and cancelled the order. 2hours and 20 minutes the delivery driver turned yo with the order I cancelled. After telling him I no longer wanted the order and had cancelled the order via phone! Absolutely disgusting service!!

Not only was the food delicious & on time, I asked (in the notes) for them to bring me some red onion chutney if they could (it wasn’t an option on the menu) & they put some in a little pot for me, very kind. Would 10/10 order again 😁

Had a great catch up with friends, with good food served of a large menu, ample seating area & nice decor. The Tawa is a good recommendation as it has a variety of staters & a choice of curry’s served with naan , rice & chips

Great food. I always buy from them. Before order where 10 mins early. But now it's 10 mins late . Specially like the lamb biriyani. Keep up the good work. Price bit expensive compared to others but it's worth it

This has to be the freshest kebab shop I have ever ordered from food came on time and was as absolutely delicious 1000% recommend best place about.

Food was good but delivery person delivered to the wrong house- sent it to house 64 instead of 59. My neighbour had to give me the food himself.

I placed an order at 8.10pm and it's now 9.40pm and called kebabish and they haven't even sent the driver yet. His reply was "you can cancel the order if you want, what else do you want me to do" worst customer service and even ruder on the phone. To be spending over £30 on 2 meals is ridiculous in itself and then to be spoken to in such a rude manner on the phone.

Food was horrible and delivery took an hour and half!

Portion is rubbish I was expecting donner meat on the kebab and all was on it was lamb chicken and sheikh very small portion my children wouldn't touch it they was expecting donner ..

35minutes late and the food was cold

I placed my order at 4pm, choosing the takeaway because it was one of the few places open. I honestly wish I’d waited until 5pm. The food arrived over an hour later than the estimated delivery time. I was told from 5:20pm it was out for delivery, it didn’t arrive until 6:15pm. The hot food was barely warm and the ice cream of course had completely melted after being in the same box as the hot food. Really not impressed with a bill of £38.

The food was delicious and it arrived on time

Food was delicious although arrived over an hour late. We ordered at 19:25 and it was almost 22:00 before we were eating (estimated delivery time was 20:35). We had to reheat the food too which was not ideal but it was incredibly tasty after all that.

Waiting a lifetime for some food

I paid £17 for a small chicken burger and about 10 3cm x 3cm chunks of lamb and chicken. the food was ok but the price was ridiculous for such a small amount of meat.

I ordered my food at 14:55 and the restaurant said I would have my order by 15:55 HOWEVER the food came at like 16:30! BUTTTT the food was lovely the gourmet burger was nice and the half chicken and rice was also lovely! Chips where a bit soggy but they normally are from takeaways! I would order again definitely but if it takes over an hour and half to arrive again then I will order elsewhere

Took 1.5 hours to arrive, a meal for 5 people. Every time I called they said it’s just a few minutes away. A few of my friends said they were not surprised as it’s a common thing with these guys.

Very disappointed with their mixed sizzler as the "lamb" was definitely not lamb. It was bland and over cooked. They seem to over cook everything. What a waste of money and time. Two things that I cannot get back

The lamb chops were burnt no taste at all! The chicken was okay despite some were burnt aswell. Used to order from this takeaway a lot but its food is going downhill now! And food is not always hot when it arrives. Will not be ordering again and advise other customers first time not to order

I dont want to give bad review as I'm a regular customer and happy overall with food and service but ordered baby chicken with chips which was burnt from one side and dry also no chips ,apart from that steak was cooked perfectly sauces given can't complain. like how food comes in a box which keeps food warm and you dont get sauces spilled and food all over the place.

Had three pieces of meat in the kebab, it was late and had no apology whatsoever.

1st time ordering, delivery was 28 mins from getting conf back from just eat, outstanding.....my kebab was nice , really taste the charcol grill on the chicken, and my wife loved her Paneer tikka Karahi immensly. Wouldnt hesitate ordering again, especially if the delivery is as quick

We got food delivered from here last night. The keema nachos were lovely and the chicken and pineapple nachos were even nicer. Had from here few times the main meals are big enough for two people.the pasta was really good.

Fantastic food from grilled chicken, lamb chops to rice, kebabs and kids meal. Delivered earlier than suggested.

They got my order wrong then took over an hour for it to be redelivered. When I spoke to the person in the phone he was rude to me and aggressive and tried telling me I got my order wrong even though I had the receipt to prove it. That place is a joke!

Food was average but nice, portions are huge and prices are really reasonable for the amount of food you get. The restaurant itself is in need of abit of tlc and it was absolutely freezing inside! Wouldnt rush back.

Tried this place after years of passing it by. I am peri peri lover so have tried a few establishments and to be honest this one was just about ok.The service was good and the server was polite and pleasant. It's a big downside this day in age that they only accept cash, luckily I was carrying which I dont often do otherwise they would have lost a customer.They have a small car park to the side of the building which is a plus.I personally won't be rushing back, but I can't say i would recommend it nor would I say avoid it.

we ordered chicken tikka kebab, the chicken was like rubber the nan bread was damp and sweaty. The salad was very minimal is there a lettuce shortage because we only had the tip of the iceberg! The cheeseburgers got complaints of my visitors saying “that’s not beef burger that’s kebab meat “ Disappointed as quality as seriously dropped .......

don’t usually do reviews but the food from this place is absolutely delicious. after sometime I’ve found a decent place to order from. Will be ordering again in the future and I would highly recommend to try this place. 😀

Make sure you have exact change when ordering delivery driver doesn’t bring change with him , paid for. £18.06 order with a £20 note and was given 50p change as this all he had on him

each time we rang to see where the food was a different thing was said - the driver also said he had tried to ring 3 times and was Guna turn around as there wasn’t any answer I use just eat all the time my number is on my account and everyone else can always ring me he never rang once !!!!

Terrible food was ordered tonight, I ordered a lamb korma that did not arrive they didn’t let me know and no receipt given, this is the second time in a month this has happened and not best pleased. Won’t be ordering from there again!!!

Food was really nice , but had to be warmed as was only luke warm when received. In addition we ordered sticky toffee pudding which was not delivered but pistachio ice cream was. Therefore we were a little disappointed this time after having previous really good orders.
