Kebabish Original in Northampton

Called in on Sat evening for take away. Ordered 3 chicken tikka with naans and 2 chips. The tikka was very very spicy and salty - too much. The chips were soggy and barely cooked. The naan (cooked onsite) were so dry and crumbly. Will not be returning here. Not recommended.

Not welcome because we are white! I have been coming here once a week on and off for the last 10 year, I love the food. Bank holiday Monday however was a different matter, as I was just about to tuck into my mixed grill I noticed another customer was filming me and my companion, which made me and my friend feel very uncomfortable, I confronted the individual about why he was filming us in the restaurant when his uncle and himself began to get aggressive, told me to turn around and get over it, I felt very very anxious and distressed but refused to be intimidated when I had done nothing wrong but ask why my privacy was being violated. when the manager and staff intervened they did not help us out at all, they took our food away and told us we could pay for takeaway or leave with out it. It’s unacceptable to treat people like this or allow your customers be treated like this what ever their background or colour, I’ve never felt so unwelcome anywhere in my life. Extremely disappointed with the management and staffs handling of the situation. Unfortunately I won’t ever eat here again, I’d advise anyone reading this to do the same if you don’t want to feel like your on display in a zoo because you don’t fit the stereotypical customer avoid, avoid, avoid. Go to Marmaris instead.

Average food but good ambience. I ordered a chicken shawarma but what was served was more like a chicken on a pitta bread. The taste was average nothing to write to home about. It as very lightly flavoured and for the price we will get much better ones around.

I arrived late and hungry after a day travelling and working. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I had a biryani and channa masala, which were both excellent. The spicing is authentic and the meal very tasty. The dining is informal, relaxed cafe style. The pricing is cheap to reasonable (£15 for two courses and a drink). If I’m ever back in Northampton then I’ll definitely drop in again to try the grill. 👍

Amazing service by the team at Al Fairoz, specially the owner. The food was on point.. Defo recommend this place. Lovely seating area and a nice family atmosphere. Thank you 😊

Always great and spicy food, also can cater for vegans upon mentioning it to ensure it meets our dietary! Best place for spicy curries ! Highly recommend

Highly recommended!! The best food in Northampton by a mile you will not be disappointed. The prices are affordable and the seating and interior designs are amazing they also have a huge range of choices unlike many places in Northampton

I been attending this place for sometime to done in..it is based near the Northampton Bus station and is close to the towns car park therefore parking is easily accessible..the restaurant has cash machine outside because they dont take card and customers can withdraw cash from the machine for the restaurant convienence.The restaurant is very narrow and the tables are squeezed on both sides and the single unisex toilet is at the far end. The downstairs baseroom is used for private function only. Before you enter, the glass counter is on the left and looking over the counter is the open kitchen with tandoori clay oven, grill , fryer and chicken and kebab displayer. The restaurant specialize in Pakistani cusine, fast food and peri-peri chicken. I am often their regular customer. The restaurant has increased their menu price recently by a £0.50 to £1.00. However, the portio is the same. The restaurant tables dont have fancy tablecloths since this is apart of fastfood chain and walls abd floor are all tiled up.I normally order the peri-peri chicken, keema curry and 2 rotis and soft drink. The peri-peri chicken is tasty as it is marinated into tangy spicy sauce and then placed in a sizzle to cook and served in a sizzler to release the exotic smell and served with crispy leafy salad and sweet and sour chillie sauce or mint sauce similarly thr keema curry is cooked in pan with medium ground spice, tomatoes and onion topping and served in kori heated pot. The service is slow and maximun waiting time is 30mins and they have one waiitress to serve food and drinks. The restaurant busy days are the weekends and wednesdays and Thursday evenings. There are ice creams and coffee available but I am too full to order anything else.

7 of us went last Thursday,staff were very friendly and helpful suggested some freshly cooked lamb jallfrazi with lamb biryani and Tarka dall,it was really tasty and spicy.

Genuinely Kashmiri cuisine! We order food from here almost every week. The food we order from Kebab rolls, Chicken karahi, Lamb Karahi, Fish masala , Chilli Paneer, etc with fresh Naans. The food quality is quite genuine.And price not very high.

Bien puede no ser el más lujoso restaurante en Northampton, pero este restaurante es mucho acerca de la calidad de la comida. En realidad vivía en Leicester y tenía 2 sucursales. Cuando me volví a Northants, me encantó encontrar una sucursal aquí también. Durante los últimos 3 años, este es el lugar donde voy por las siguientes 3 platos favoritos indian; Bebé Mezcla de pollo, cordero y Grill con mantequilla Karahi Keema Roti.Sí, "algunos" de los empleados no son perfectas en el vocabulario, pero hay una razón de por qué este restaurante siempre está lleno y por qué han estado allí durante tanto tiempo. Así no tengo que levantarme para ellos como notamos una crítica negativa en tripadvisor. No tengo afiliación con ellos, como se puede ver claramente desde el número de reseñas de restaurantes diferentes que he hecho.A veces todo lo que quieres es comida de buena calidad a precios asequibles, y este es ese lugar para mí. Las fotos adjuntas con 2 bebidas (agua) y Mango Rubicon llega a un total de 15 libras! Que sirve para 2 personas. Lo recomiendo.

Por desgracia, este café no está hecho de bienvenida del personal. Nos daban menús desde detrás de un mostrador y luego a la izquierda del asiento, no para nosotros nos dijeron a recoger nuestras propias bebidas de la nevera y cuando pedí mi bebida era dumping delante de mí en sus puede sin ofrecernos un vaso o paja. La comida tardó muchísimo en llegar y no era más que aceptable. No volveré.

La comida aquí es increíble. La decoración deja algo que desear pero esconde uno de los mejores establecimientos de comida en Northampton. Primero introdujo a India por mis colegas del trabajo que no vayas a ningún otro sitio. Yo probé el pollo Chili Masala, que es maravilloso.
