We visited this vegan coffee shop today after Kirkcaldy parkun. I have visited before and discussed the possibility of booking a space for my running group (Vegan Runners UK) and they were very happy to do so. We received a very warm welcome and we ordered food, drinks and cakes, all of which were delicious. There's a lovely relaxed, friendly atmosphere here and we didn't feel rushed at all. Will definitely visit again if I am in Kirkcaldy again. Keep up the great work! 💚🖤 (It was lovely also to see environmentally friendlier loo roll and vegan soap in the bathroom too).

Lovely family atmosphere and lots of nice wee touches. Couldn't do enough to help with allergies. Even phoned up suppliers to check ingredients. Felt very safe and no fuss made.

You need to go here if you're in Kirkaldy. There's a buzz about the place you notice immediately. A banging soundtrack, hoots of laughter from behind the counter and a very welcoming attitude. A simple cafe menu - we had very tasty filled bagels and coffee. A joyous, energetic place - loved it.

Husband noticed this wee cafe the night before so decided to go for a late breakfast. Lovely rolls with sausages and apple chutney and really good tea. Didn’t realise it was vegan even after I noticed we were given soya milk for the tea!! Would definitely recommend and will be going again.

We bought coffees and brownies on our way to coast. They have a small "van" near to the railway station. The owners were soo nice. I had one of the best matcha latte what I've ever had. And brownies I can't recommend more. Next I definitely try bagel.

Kangus Coffee House is a real gem hidden in Kirkcaldy and so good as well. It’s vegan with fantastic staff and a great feel. Access - out of the town centre to the North a 5min walk to the station and near local bus routes. Street parking available. No cycle facilities. Flat access from the street with some outside tables The Cafe - one room with a serving counter on the right and bare wood tables. There is a unisex toilet but it’s not accessible. The cafe is quite cramped and people in wheelchairs might find it a bit difficult. The food is all vegan mainly in bagels and excellent it is too, a funny menu with a play on words is very entertaining. The coffee was excellent and they have a wide range of teas. The staff are really great and style themselves as Bagel Burds. A real find in Kirkcaldy and highly recommended

I love Kangus! So great of the owners ditching meat. Great bagels, good coffee, cakes are spot on and customer service is second to none. Keep up the good work, we need more places like this.

Had visited when Kangus first opened and really enjoyed our meal. However, on return visit, found it had changed to vegan/vegetarian options only, which severely limited the choice for someone looking for a non-plant-based option. Cakes are still good, with a gluten free option available, and they stock an interesting range of lemonades. Staff are friendly and they appear to do a lot of takeaway for local regulars. Free parking close by.

I visited Kangus on my own for a coffee and quick bite to eat. Kirsty and the other member of staff were really friendly and made an effort to make me feel welcome. I ordered a skinny late and the Kangus club bagel. The bagel was served warm and was absolutely delicious. Kangus has a real community feel and it’s great to see a local business thriving and doing so well. I purchased some cake to take home for my parents and the feedback was that it was delicious. The food was reasonably priced too. I’ll definitely pop back to Kangus, it’s a absolute breathe of fresh air compared to some of the stale chain coffee shops on the high street.

This has been a favourite of mine for some time. Beautiful coffee, a vast menu suitable for vegans / vegetarians but no compromise on taste or quality. The vegan cakes / doughnuts are mouthwateringly good. This place is suitable for breakfast, lunch, catch up with friends or a quick coffee on the go! They cater to all. Their meat free sausage, haggis, and hot dogs are incredible. There’s really no where like it! Vibe - Relaxed & quirky. Service - With a smile. Always. Quality - fantastic. Well worth a visit! Stunning little place!

Visited Kangus today for a some food and a coffee and was well impressed. The soup tasted like my Nanas (and that is a compliment) the sandwich was very tasty and the coffee to finish was perfect. Owners were really nice and chatted away. There was defo a gap in the market for a nice wee place like this in that area and this wee gem has filled it very nicely. It's the total opposite of places like Costa etc which really have no "soul" about them. Well done Kangus you've earned a new regular!
