Kandy Kraze Bar in Oldham

Where do I start? I should have read the reviews before ordering from this place. Absolute scummy business - how do these people sleep at night? It's supposed to be halal yet their untruthfulness makes you question this. They claim to deliver in 30 mins, took over 3 hours for my delivery to come. I ordered at 18.05pm and they arrived at 21:15pm. Used the excuse of it being bonfire night - but it's a weekday so shouldn't be that busy. How lame. I was on the chat to deliveroo after an hour of it being delayed and they weren't helpful either so left that and just waited. On the phone they keep telling you that it'll be another 30 mins, 10 mins, 15 mins when you check up on your order and it ends up being way longer. My order was missing two items too! Like do they do this on purpose or what? So many people have had the same problem - missing items and too long of a delivery wait. I ended up getting the missing items in the end and they arrived within 10 mins which was okay. I'm now too exhausted to even eat the food and have work the next day - not ideal to eat this late! Not to mention the crepe was uncooked. Waffle wasn't too bad but was soggy with all the strawberries on top of it. They are generous with the amount of strawberries they give you so I'll give them credit for that.

Bad attitude off staff make out your lying and saying driver confirmed my order hadn't melted which was a lie as he apologised that they had melted coz took him too long unhygienic too Sunday arrived with the lids fallen off too totally bad customer service all round won't admit their mistakes

Avoid Avoid Avoid this place !!! Extremely arogant staff , said driver has just left after 1.30 hrs, we have been extremely busy. So that mean they will deliever after 1hr and 50mins if they are busy. Poor service, avoid

Delivery took 2 hours. Consistent late deliveries whenever ive ordered. Would avoid.

I placed an order was given a time the time then chnaged and when I contacted the restaurant all I got told was that it was on the way but guess what never got the food and now I ain’t being refunded the money I paid for food I never got never never never again

We’ve waited over 2 hours for food to come, when it originally said half hour after me ordering the food that it would come. I’ve rang up after an hour of ordering for them to say to they are still waiting on a driver to come and pick the food up. My partner ended up going to pick the food up.

Cant find the bury one online, same business, good enough. Took over an hour for a milkshake. Do you go to the shop for the stuff when a milkshake is ordered? Good idea to be ready to make one milkshake and deliver it locally within 60+ minutes👍🏼

Took a hour and half from when I delivered to come. But food was still hot and ice cream was still frozen! Lovely delivery lady too! Thankyou

Delivery is literally always late and the crepes tasted like plastic when it finally arrived, really need to work on their delivery times and stop taking delivery if they are too busy !!

Avoid this place. Received order after 1 and a half hours which was just a waffle and a cake which is already pre made.

Joke of a place. Ordered three desserts. Asked for update, said 29 minutes. Two and half hours later nearly still not here. Apparently five minutes away after a second phone call… nearly one in the morning I’m going bed

delivery was nearly 30mins late!! ice cream had all melted waffle was freezing and our cake and custard wad freezing too!

Phone number on Google is for the Oldham Kandy Kraze who then gave me the number for the apparent bury one which turned out to be some random girls number and ordered it at 7 it arrived at 9:15 would not recommend!

I ordered a kraze box it was good for the money very filling only problem I had was the brownies and donuts didn't taste very fresh which was disappointing tasted a little stale😢

Wasn’t happy with delivery driver banging on the door, he pulls up with his music blaring out of his car, at 11-30pm plus, and knocks on the door with what sounded like a key, and rang the bell. I had to tell him that using the bell is fine but banging on the door aswell when I’ve got a baby asleep isn’t acceptable. Granted he apologised however going forward can the delivery driver just be mindful of timings, blaring music and banging on doors. ☺️ thanks!!!

Usually order from here all the time for dessert since they're not based far from my area. Ordered at 9.40 food didn't arrive until after the estimated delivery time of 22.55. Rang twice for updates, first was told it was coming and will be out soon. Half an hour later asked for an update was told it's only just being given to the delivery driver. Didn't get it till past 11. For a place that's a 10 min drive it's a bit of a joke and has put me off ordering from here again tbh.

AVOID!! I waited over 2 hours for a waffle to come when they said it would only take 30mins to arrive. I rang after my order was over an hour late and they told me it was leaving in 10-15 mins over 50 minutes later I rang again and I was told it would be 10mins max when it arrived over 20mins later. To make it even worse the food came cold and was missing the extras I paid for. I’m extremely disappointed and won’t be ordering from them again. Seems like I’m not the first person this has happened to either wish I would have looked at reviews first.

Took over 2 hours to arrive even though I live 2 mins from where they are!! Food was good although Ferrero rocher ice cream is just chocolate ice cream!! Delivery time not good

Ordered for the first time, was really good..think they could do with a bit more ice cream. I did originally order a normal choc chip cookie dought but swap for a white as they were waiting for a delivery and got a free cake for the inconvenience which was lovely and my daughter was rather happy about that

Dont understand these reviews below. Was sceptical about ordering first thinking its going to take ages. But ordered and delivered within 45mins roughly. Order 3 more times and same again under stated times. Ordering through their site 15% discount. Cheesecakes are amazing. But if you havent had the matilda cake then you are missing something in life. Keep up the good quality food at affordable prices kandy kraze

I’m a regular customer, I’ve ordered more than 5 times and I’m just in love with the desserts. The delivery was super quick but can also be late but that’s when you order when it’s busy but the workers always try their best to send it out as soon as possible, and the desserts were hot and fresh when it arrived and for the frozen items they are cold and not melted. I’m amazed at the service you guys provide.

Wow. Best desserts I’ve had in a very long time. Tried a bit of everything and everything was spot on. Delivery was very fast and quick which was even better and the desserts were piping hot just how it should be. Delivery driver was very welcoming and nice. 100% recommend this place. Ordered a biscoff waffle and a jammy dodger milkshake. The waffle was soft and warm with a crunchy outside with generous toppings Milkshake was better than other places , in that there was actually jammy dodger bits mixed in, actually tasted like jammy dodgers and not overpowering vanilla you’d normally get elsewhere Great food overall , would recommend. 🧨

Best in Oldham. No waffles compare to theirs and the donuts are always fresh n fluffy. Very generous with the topping you’ll never be disappointed or feel u didn’t get your money worth.

I have been ordering from Kandy Kraze for a while and they never disappoint. Love the quality of the desserts, they have a large variety to choose from. They also cater for all ages and different tastes, I enjoy their traditional old school desserts. I would highly recommend this family run dessert place

Do not go here, ordered at 4pm for a 35 minute delivery. 1 hour 40 mins later, the kids had already had to leave extremely disappointed. Milkshake is tasteless, ferero rosha ice cream is just chocolate flavor, the crepe was so thick it tasted like a chapati. Restaurant didn't update the order on deliveroo so can't make a complaint. They use their own driver who didn't start work until nearly an hour after the order should have been delivered. Avoid at all costs, £28 down the drain

I ordered food at 8.20pm and this turned up at 10.25pm. I ordered 2 cheesecakes and then was told there wasn’t any available. By the time food arrived my kids was in bed and one didn’t get to have their ice cream sundae.

Didn’t receive takeaway after two hours, we called an hour after delivery (was advised that it will be with us in 15 minutes) they said it was on the way. Called a hour later and was told they are yet to make it. We asked them shall we cancel the order to which they agreed. Never got the refund. Called again to ask how they wish to settle it and agreed to do a charge back through the bank. Have ordered previously from this place over a year ago and similar service was provided then.

Best desserts in town by a mile. Sometimes could take some time but the food is always banging and it’s always worth while.
