Known now as Blueball Indian. We eat here 2 - 3 times a week. Great friendly staff' Always attention to detail, never had a bad meal. Plenty of parking. Lots of choice and variety. So clean my partner is like the hotel inspector and he said you could eat in the bathrooms they are so clean!! Well done BlueBall, Thumbs up from us 5 star

Ordered a few times now and every time our delivery has been on time. Food always arrives piping hot, nothing missed from the order and most importantly the food is delicious! Will be a regular no doubt.

tiny portions oF food, tasteless and watery. was also cold. paid £3.80 for a starter that could have been polished off by my 2 year old in minutes! 20 minutes was added to the already long delivery time. not impressed at all. wont be using then again. will stick to spice merchant from now on

I asked to try the naga sauce and it was well worth it. really sweet chilli and not too overwhelming. any1 who likes spicy food should try it. fantastic food and perfect taste. definitely order again. 👍👍👍

Delivery was earlier than expected , which was fine.. but.... First of all... delivery man didn't have change.. was faffing for 10 mins at the door searching for change.. but sorted it after 10.. so then food was warm by time I came to dishing up... the chips were chip shop chips not Indian reatursnt style which I wasn't a fan of.. but that's personal preference ,, the biryiani was bland as anything I didn't enjoy it at all... the best thing about the meal was the naan.. ended up having to throw most of it.. a bit disssapointed as I like trying diff takeaways to find the best one... ah well keep on searching ....never mind!!

This restaurant was a regular destination in a previous incarnation as "Mirchi", so as we had family from overseas staying at a local hotel we thought that we would give it a try...A very long wait for the arrival of starters for a table of 7, but only 5 had starters (and other tables who had ordered after us, served earlier) which were just ok and when the mains arrived, the chicken quality was chewy and some of the sauces bland. Good poppadums, dips and nans, but overall I would not visit again.

Este fue un regular y semanal para llevar durante mucho tiempo ha sido inmejorable. Pero esta semana, ordenó mi habitual y fue horrible- tibia, sin especias y la coloración (pathia) fue totalmente desaparecidos. Comida de mi esposa estaba sosa (dansak) y mi hijo siempre tiene un madras - que él dice que está muy caliente, pero esto no era picante! Un chef diferente esa noche, quizás? No hay ninguna excusa. La coherencia está a la orden del día. Tratando en otro lugar la próxima vez, después de muchos años de buena comida.

Have been to restaurant for a couple of meals but have had loads of home deliveries, both have been great but for us to have our Balti's at home is brilliant.

Lovely food, delivery was 15/20 minutes earlier than originally stated, friendly delivery guy.

The chips were old and re cooked the one main was a mush of others it was awful please send this to restaurant because we are appalled and shocked and will never order or refer this restaurant again

Popped in after work, been quite a while since we have eaten here. Not disappointed this time either! Poppadums, onion salads, prawn puree, Garlic Chilli Bahar for me, and a special biriani for other half, along with a keema naan. Quite busy, although seated immediately. Service was good, friendly waiters with a sense of humour! Still not licensed, but take your own alcohol is fine. Won't leave it so long before we return as the food is really very good, and exceptional value.

Low priced Quality Menu with very friendly attentive staff. Will definitely be back for more. Choice on Menu is very good including Monkfish amongst their Seafood range, which is a rare find and normally very expensive, but very cheap here, as are all the dishes. Highly recommend giving this place a visit.

I've had some fantastic takeaway from here before but don't know what happened tonight. Really long delivery time had to chase up twice and when finally get it my meal was cold. Still great food once microwaved but disappointing that I needed to warm it up

Been here twice now and couldn't fault the meals. Can recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants agreat meal at down to earth prices. Not licenced, so take your own drinks so it's even cheaper.

25 mins late!! After extra 10mims adding on to original time. Food was poor barely any flavour to the sauce and only just warm. No repeat order thank you.

Meal arrived 30 mins late.. stone cold and smelling of cigarette smoke. I called the restaurant immediately and although the member of staff apologised I will not put an order through them again.

Came here on a bit of the spur of the moment for tea on a friday night so we had not booked but they managed to get us in. Great Service great starters and mains and a really good price to boot. we always go here for a Indian meal whether its to sit in or a take a way you will not be disappointed.

Have eaten here often in the last few years, the food is fab, choice is really good. Can get really busy on the weekends so I normally book a table so I'm not disappointed.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Starters were very tasty and a decent size portion. Mains were so tasty and sides were lovely. Could not fault a thing with any part of the meal and will definitely be returning.

Visited last Friday. Front of house was perfectly fine, however starter portions are tiny and I'm not the biggest eater. The mains were presented with 3-4 pieces of meat. It literally looked like they had shelled an onion. Not chopped. Huge slices of onion. Both mains tasted pretty much the same however we ordered two completely different mains. Complained to the manager and was given a massive 10% off and an excuse that we ordered a chef special hence the huge onions. However i did explain that one may have been a chef special but the other was a regular main and still had the huge slices of onion. All in all we won't be returning

Years ago this used to be a pub called the Blue Ball. It is now a nice large, but cosy (different rooms and sections) Indian restaurant. Staff were very friendly. I booked the restaurant for a family celebration of my Father-in-laws Birthday and Christmas combined. There were 11 of us in total and several were Vegetarian and 1 was Vegan. The service was good considering the number in our party and when the restaurant started to fill up on this Christmas Eve. Several of us, including myself had the Onion Bhajee's for starters, which were very nice. So far so good. When the main courses were served there was a serious mistake. One of the Vegetarians had chicken in her curry. Luckily she spotted this before she started eating it. This was exchanged, but apparently the replacement was not very nice. Maybe because it was rushed. Hence she left most of it. Such a shame because almost all the other mains, including my wife and I's were enjoyable. However, to be fair they did cancel the meal from our bill. An evening at Kaben will cost you less than some Indian restaurants because it is not licenced, so you can bring your own alcohol drinks. This makes a big difference. We normally eat at Undaal in Quarry Bank (also no drinks licence), but this evening they were booked until too late in the evening for our party. Having eaten at Undaal several times, and only once at Kaben, I have to say Undaal is slightly better on the quality of food, but Kaben makes up for this by being a much nicer, more private and larger, less cramped restaurant. It was unfortunate that during our first visit they made such a bad mistake with one of the Vegetarian meals, but at least they did not charge for this, they admitted the mistake and were very apologetic about it. I would still recommend Kaben and we will try them again, but under the circumstances can only give 4 *'s.

Really fancied a curry tonight, so glad we chose Kaben? It was delivered really quick, food was the perfect temperature and the spices were perfect. Price was really good. Highly recommended!

The balti was OK but not the best and my Peshawar nan was sticky and soggy like it was covered in honey not good

Although I have eaten better Indian food kaben is great always consistent you know what your getting from here and that's good food. On top of that the service is incredible delivery times are always beaten and always served with a smile all round an amazing place with amazing people

Order was delivered sooner than advised, the delivery driver was very nice and wished us merry Xmas! No need for me to look anywhere else for Indian food!

We eat in the restaurant more than we get takeaway from Kaben, but It was excellent as always, Peshwari naan is the best I've ever tasted. Top quality food, delivered with a smile.

Decided to order a takeaway from here as our usual restaurant for 16 years refused to deliver our food as they were too busy! Food arrived within 45 minutes and was very tasty. We had a mixture of starters, mains and sides which were all flavoursome. The Garlic Chicken Tikka Balti was to die for! After being turned away by our usual restaurant we will be using this one a lot more often. Would highly recommend. Very good prices for food as well!

Path is very watery and not much taste to anything. Lamb in the Biryani wasn't tikka as ordered. Cheese on nan tasted horrid- overall not impressed.

The keema nan was dissapointing with there being little filling and the keema tasted off.
