Jurassic Grill in West Dunbartonshire

Es una idea genial para un lugar especialmente para los niños, los dinosaurios también son geniales. Pero los precios de los alimentos son altos £ 15 para una hamburguesa de costilla con patatas fritas que para el tamaño de la porción y la calidad de la costilla era demasiado. Creo que podrías comprar la comida por unas £ 3 realmente no vale la pena. Lástima ya que es el único lugar cercano, pero no hay nada especial en la comida y esto me pospondría volver.

Llevo un tiempo con ganas de probar y decidí ir el otro día después de estar en el centro de vida marina. Yo estaba con mi madre y mi hija, mamá era escéptica, ya que es una comedora quisquillosa, pero estaba dispuesta a darle una paliza! A todos nos encantó absolutamente la comida (hasta la abuela) , vi la hamburguesa azul anunciada y tuve que verla con mis propios ojos! Tuve suerte cambiando la empanada de ternera por una hamburguesa de pollo que el chef tuvo la amabilidad de hacer por mí. Las dos señoras trabajando eran simplemente fantásticos y recibimos un servicio tan agradable (creo que se llamaban Kirsty y Fiona) , que sacaron todos los dinosaurios bebé para que nos encontráramos Me da pena que sus brazos tener que llevarlos todo el día! Volveremos la próxima vez que estemos al final del charco para probar algo más de su comida! También si vas y optas por la hamburguesa azul solo prepárate para las deposiciones verdes al día siguiente 😅

Perfecto para familias. Fuimos aquí anoche con mi esposa y dos pequeños y los niños se lo pasaron increíble. Todo el restaurante está lleno de dinosaurios y el personal era tan amable y realmente lo hizo una experiencia maravillosa para los niños. Absolutamente volveremos cuando podamos.

Visitamos aquí para comer un sábado, ya que a mi hijo le encantan los dinosaurios y estaba cerca de donde estábamos de vacaciones. La decoración y los dionos eran muy buenos, un montón para mirar con el personal vestido como guardabosques y música de efectos de sonido de la selva. El personal vino con marionetas para acariciar que mi hijo pensó que era muy divertido. Bonitas vistas sobre el lago. La comida era probablemente demasiado caro para el tamaño de la porción y el medio de la carretera, pero no terrible, pagamos £ 65 por 3 bebidas, 3 principales, 2 postres y 1 café, que no es escandaloso. Vale la pena por la experiencia para los niños!

Buena interacción con los niños del personal que va alrededor con dinosaurios, pero la comida era muy pobre. Hamburguesas congeladas baratas con rodajas de queso procesado que ni siquiera se derritió, un poco de ensalada de col y sin ensalada £ 15. 95 - ciertamente no es buena relación calidad-precio. Muy poco cerdo tirado en hamburguesa con patatas fritas solo promedio. Carbonara era promedio - sobre pasta cocida y pan de ajo era suave - no crujiente en absoluto. La pizza sabía bien, pero era más de £ 15 y era pequeña! Pepsi max es era plana. El agua no estaba tan fría. No volverá. A menos que tus hijos estén locos por Dino ahorra malgastando tu dinero. Algunos de los empleados eran amables, algunos no tenían personalidad.

My 13 year old son spotted this place on social media a few months ago and begged to go. Spotted a sunny day and we made the trip from Hamilton, about 50mins...but we did have 3 hrs in Balloch country park first to justify the journey. My son is Dino daft and smiled the minute he walked in the door. Menu was great, yes it's bit expensive for lunch time burgers but the decoration, staff interaction with hand held Dino's etc made it worth it. Staff member Lucy chatted to my son each time she came to the table, asking about his love of dinosaurs, and despite his age all the staff with puppets came over which was great as my son definitely wanted pictures and a chat. We both went for burgers with coloured buns and we really enjoyed them, and the chips were great, chunky and crispy. My son had a mocktail which was well presented and not much more expensive than coke etc. We were £40 for burgers and drinks...zero beer and mocktail...we didn't do a pudding etc. Price ok for a special treat and my son left with massive smile on his face and told me to leave 5 stars in Trip Advisor 😂

The coffee area was closed. we asked if we we could go into the main restaurant,as we only wanted coffees . we asked if we could sit outside. We moved the table out of the wind told we couldn't do that health and safety. We moved inside and were told the table was booked for 3,00 pm this was 1.30. needless to say we left .

Very expensive for the food standard, however staff are fantastic, great with kids! Food is what you'd expect from your local pub. Good service, fast. Would return.

Very disappointed. Couldn't eat much of the burger. I did try to get past the unappetising blue bun, but the blue cheese sauce was horrible, crispy bacon was limp, no cutlery, no staff. Couldn't recommend to anyone.

Enjoyed our meal at Jurrasic burger. Decent portion size and fun decor. The host was very sweat and makes a big effort to include lots of kids. We were two adults and we still enjoyed the fun of Victor the dinosaur.

I had booked a table for 4:30pm for me, my wife and our 1-year-old. After a busy day around the loch, our 1-year-old was shattered and was not going to make the booking. I went in to chance my luck and asked if they could do a takeaway, and to my surprise, they said yes despite it not being an option on the website or anywhere else!! I asked to come back and place an order, and they were honestly so accommodating. Not a lot of places understand what it's like with a toddler and meals, so I honestly really appreciate the help and support. The food was incredible as well! I was bested by the Titanosaurus, my daughter devoured the fish fingers and beans, and my wife loved the Brachy Bite Burger.

The food is ok, but its all about the dinosaurs my two year old loved it, and the staff came and interact with hand puppets etc throughout the meal. Awesome, if your kids like dinosaurs you gotta take them.

Place looks amazing, staff were all really friendly and fabulous. Kids enjoyed the different dinosaurs coming by to say hello. Kids meals were really good and a decent portion. We had the blue burger- can’t remember the name of it- was it bad? Well we ate it. Would I have it again? Probably not. The ‘bun’ was soggy and cold. Bacon was too overcooked- struggled to eat it. Chips were really nice. But 100% recommend for a family with young kids to visit.

Avoid it’s terrible place looks ok menu sound really fun but food didn’t live up to it basic things done really badly burnt nuggets soggy pizza meant to be a large but was tiny the desserts were hyped up with fancy names but again didn’t deliver service was mind numbly slow despite loads of staff and an empty restaurant. Empty at 5 pm on a Saturday for a reason it’s awful will never be back and definitely wouldn’t recommend our whole group agreed we would have been much better going round to McDonald’s

Great day out at lomond shores. Jurassic grill was a great experience, my four year old lived the decor and petting the dinosaurs. Holly, our waitress was brilliant with him and a the other kids. Food was fun (blue, red and black burgers!) and tasted great too. Especially the desserts. Would recommend a visit if you have kids. (Or just love dinosaurs). I wasn’t aware there was so much to do there, nature trail, fairground rides , beach etc. I will 100% be returning soon

Visited today and had a fab time. Decor fantastic and staff just brilliant. My Dino mad 5 year old loved the baby dinosaurs. We were seated quickly and served promptly. I bought a wowcher deal and this worked out at good value, if you were dining full price I would say its slightly higher than average however you're paying for the full experience so l think it is still worth it for a special day out. Food choice is basic but tasty and perfect for kids. Overall its a unique experience and I would definitely return for a special occasion.

This is our second visit in a month as we had a great time on our first visit, this time we had booked at lunch time and it was fully booked unlike the last time, so service was obviously slower but the service was good and the food was very tasty and good sized portions. We tried the katsu chicken burger, and the pizza both were very nice. Then we got the brownies, but these were slightly burnt unfortunately. We were also disappointed they had changed the menu from our previous visit and we never got a funky coloured burger like before. We still enjoyed our visit though!

Visited on a Monday lunchtime as family of 3, was not busy and got seated without booking, did not have original request from menu for myself, waited over 35 mins for food and had to say to ask waitress how much longer it would be, arrived minutes later, food was decent, when we went to pay the Monday promotion for free kids meal with adult lunch was not applied and I had to request this, overall food was decent when it arrived, decoration is ok for young kids but would not return especially at height of season when I'd imagine could be chaotic

Manger Fiona is rude and unprofessional and her words "I don't just sit in an office waiting to respond to emails!" after receiving my email dated 26/02/2024 as feedback/complaint at the appalling state of the restaurant, the lack of interaction, the beyond poor quality cold stale food. I have had nothing but bad attitude and aggression from her in relation to my complaint and the restaurant have even blocked my number from calling to try and get some sort of update. It must be said that ALL the other staff bar this one woman have been lovely and let down by their place of work. If you are looking to spend £100+ for 4 people to have inedible food in a dirty restaurant, this is your prime location! Also worth noting the waitress on the day, who was lovely, did tell us the kitchen hadn't had a delivery of food for over two weeks and key items would be unavailable from the menu. That in itself is not a good advert for food serving establishment. From the dirty cold restaurant to the disgusting food and far from fresh ingredients this full experience was a let down. We travelled 75miles for my niece to enjoy this unique experience and it was a complete waste of everyone's time. There has been no apology from the restaurant, as stated above just aggression. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Went for lunch with my 10 year old. Had a fab experience. The staff are attentive and lovely - so good with kids. Food was nice - burgers n loaded fries hot the spot. Decor amazing and we enjoyed the table visits from the dinosaur babies.

Not great! Has huge potential but a let down. Positive - decor was great kids loved the dinosaurs. Negatives - the food was mediocre at best. And overpriced We waited 40mins for food to arrive and then felt rushed as we were told our table was booked again within half an hour. Some of the staff around the restaurant seemed lovely and engaged well with the kids however our server was less than enthusiastic. The 'baby dinosaur' was quickly brought round after we had eaten and the member of staff spent only around a minute at each table and when she asked my little one his favourite dinosaur she said 'i don't even know what that is I only know a trex' my toddler son has multiple severe food allergies, I had of course looked at the menu prior to our visit and decided on getting him some chips and giving his own food in addition to this as nothing else looked suitable. On arrival the staff member huffed when we said we had allergies, when I said not to worry that I had some food for him in addition to some chips (there were 3 more of us planning on eating 2 courses) she said because they cater to allergies any outside food wasn't permitted. She then handed us an allergy disclaimer saying that all the food is at risk of cross contamination to all of my son's allergies. She said the burger would be fine and she 'thought' the sausages would too but the menu didn't state that they would be gluten free (a good indication for a wheat allergy). We did after double checking order him a burger but when it arrived it was so overcooked he didn't eat it anyway. But this staff members attitude and apparent disregard for the seriousness of the allergies did little to put us at ease in a new place. Other staff members seemed more knowledgeable when we overheard them deal with another table with a food allergy.

Came for my son’s 5th birthday tonight and can’t thank Caitlin and Sophie enough. They were both so attentive and made my son’s birthday extra special and made a huge deal out of him. The food was outstanding too. An excellent place for the whole family with brilliant staff who had smiles on their faces the whole time. Made us feel very welcome the whole visit. Thank you.

Service very slow. Food mediocre at best. Only 2 desserts available. Many if the cocktails not available. Got wowcher vouchers so glad we didn't pay full price. OK for the kids but rather find a decent pub.

We attended this place with a wowcher voucher for 3 that cost £38 not bad value booked a table in advance on arrival it wasn’t particularly busy staff nice through out service very poor 30 mins for drinks then another 30mins for meals to arrive poor quality everything had been deep fried and overcooked. Another 30 mins or so waiting on desert also had to pay additional supplements as we went at the weekend and additional drinks but real poor quality food and service won’t be returning.

What a great place to bring the children to eat. The building is all dinosaurs and habitation and the staff even walk around with a dinosaur interacting with the children. The menu is great and the food is lovely too. On a good day you can sit outside and over look Loch Lomond absolutely stunning.
