Juniper is a superb restaurant and we feel lucky to have it on our doorstep. The menu is very interesting, the food and presentation is fantastic and the all the staff are friendly and attentive. We have dined many times, including our daughter's birthday party where they did a great kids menu for us. They often do set menu nights either from a country or through the decades menu. I cannot recommend these highly enough and the accompanying wine flight that goes with. Can't recommend highly enough. The images are from our most recent trip, an 18oz veal t-bone and the chicken satay. Delicious.

We went for an anniversary meal. The food was great, the menu was varied and a bit different to other restaurants I’ve been to lately. The service was good too. I would recommend it.

My sister and my brother in law very kindly treated me to a fantastic meal, I had king prawns with chilli, cooked to perfection and for my main dish I had Sea Bream, which was perfect, my brother in law then let me finish his apple crumble. Our waitress was Dani and she was extremely friendly and helpful the head waiter was as well. I really recommend this restaurant.

Went into Juniper for the first time through a recommendation , the food was absolutely fantastic but to be honest the service was a let down. Felt very rushed and the male waiter could not even put a smile on his face so was not approachable and some of the female staff looked like they didn’t know what they was doing and could not be bothered. Sadly , will not return.

On our arrival at Juniper we were met with a warm and friendly welcome from front of house manager Rob. The sympathetically converted 19th Century stone cottage has developed into an atmospheric restaurant oozing in old world charm and character augmented by its position within the heart of Shevington overlooking the park and gardens, a real hidden gem. The menu gave an excellent and varied choice of food and drink, the food was exquisitely presented and of exceptional quality, a culinary experience to savour, excellent value for what was a first class fine dining experience. Thanks to Chris and the team for a great experience.

Splendid meals, all round. I had the Wagyu steak. as did my wife. Cooked just the way I like my steaks. My friends enjoyed their fish meals. Wine reasonably priced Didn't feel we were being ripped off, which sadly is our experience in many of the eateries we have been to in the last 18 months. Well done

The Juniper food never fails to please. It is top quality food expertly cooked. Last night we visited for the Exotic Holiday Theme night and it was top class from start to finish. The restaurant is tastefully presented in and the servers are all very pleasant. Here are a few photos of our experience there.

I visit juniper regularly with friends, family, etc and on every occasion it’s always lovely food and great service. There are few places of any quality to eat in the area, but this is one of them: they are also really happy to adjust menus if there are allergies etc.

The food was incredible! The meat was fresh, the cheese was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. The service was quick and non intrusive. We had a bottle of wine as well and there was a good choice. We also had cake after it and everything came to £65. Between 2 of us it was £32.50 which is an absolute bargain! I will definitely go again for bottomless brunch. Best place in Leigh for cakes and the new charcuterie boards.

Thought I’d do the kind gentleman a review was working around the rear of the shop on a manhole he came over with prawn crackers and a can for us while working he then came over again with some salt and pepper chips and chicken and wow absolutely unreal flavour of the spices and not to much salt and everything tasted fresh, and was such a nice kind gesture as we offered payment and he refused
