First Indian from Chorley and it was so good. Food arrived hot from delivery. All food was correct and super tasty. Great portion sizes and great value for money!

This is a takeaway review. I’d love to have give Jamun Tree a higher rating as the food is very good, I’ve spoken to the owner on one occasion and he’s a very affable chap too. I visited the restaurant for my first takeaway and ordered in person, it was superb food and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The second time I ordered through the ‘Chorley Eats’ app. The food was very nice, but the bread order was wrong and missing a bread. I phoned them and thought things would be resolved for the future, I was obviously offered the breads f.o.c for my next order. The third time, again the bread order was wrong again, fourth the bread order was wrong and I’d ordered a chicken tikka korma, it was plain chicken. Tonight is the fifth time I’ve had food and because of the previous errors, I even wrote in the ‘Notes’ section of the order page: “please remember cheese and garlic nan and not plain” and to “please make sure it’s chicken tikka and not plain chicken in the korma”. The order was wrong again, the breads were plain as was the chicken. I also found the portion sizes seemed smaller, the vegetable aloo side dish had definitely reduced in size. One of the main dishes I ordered was very oily too. I appreciate it’s a Saturday evening and they’re busy and that it’s been a weekend each time I’ve ordered but I think I’ve lost a lot of patience now and I’m irked the order is wrong yet again. Hence the reason for the average review. It’s a shame, because the quality of the food is very good. Certainly way better than nearby ‘Shapla’ though.

Take away success. After a previous great restaurant experience, we decided we had not had an Indian takeaway for a long time, so we decided on Jamun Tree. It eas another success. Great food, ready when they said it would be. It's not the cheapest as a takeaway, but certainly worth the extra as we really enjoyed our meal.

A cracking Indian, like the idea of taking own drinks, as restaurant is not licensed. Food was lovely, all 4 enjoyed. We will be back.
