It's so good to have an excellent Chinese takeaway on your doorstep! It's a rare treat and every time I go I'm not disappointed. Brilliant!

Had a few good meals over the past 12 months (AND SPENT GOOD MONEY) what was normally never an issue when ordering food to ask for a specific order for example no onions or bean sprouts in the noodles and add some peas to rice dishes ect. Suppose I must have caught the guy on his time of the month (had a hissy fit) when asked for the usual no onions or bean sprouts an add a wee drop peas to the rice dishes. ..... was basically told in a rant oh I'll do it for you this time but we don't normally do it (well it's never been an issue the past 12 months) what's the fuss about now. Continued to rant on about oh if you got to a restaurant they wouldn't take things out the dish an add things in (your a take away not a restaurant) was then told the only reason I say is when it's busy on a Friday and saturday we can't really take out bean sprouts an onions and add peas (it's not friday or saturday though ... it's monday !!) Yeh defo on his time of the month actually quite shocked I was as he's normally alright an chatty. These take aways really need too never forget who keeps them in business (US THE CUSTOMERS) shame really as the food is always spot on. But yeh when someone starts huffing an puffing about adding a wee drop peas into a rice an taking out beansprouts from noodles nah I'll take my business elsewhere

This place batters their salt and chilli chips and they are out of this world, a must try

Made an order over phone, no communication issues, food was delivered promptly all sauces were separated as standard, food was of a high standard

One of the best Chinese takeaways in Midlothian, we've never had a bad meal from here. Speedy delivery and delicious food. The sweet and sour lemon chicken is a taste of my childhood and one that I don't find very often and it's even rarer to find it done well! We are definitely regulars now.

Order chicken char sue fried rice got chicken with bean sprouts and barbecue sauce although it was tasty not the same shame as normally a good take away

everytime we get food something is always wrong and the staff try to say its not there fault wouldnt mind if it was once as its understandable but everytime we have tried here its the same were talking arounf 10 different occasions and when there in the wrong they say we never ordered even though we correct them when ordering wouldnt even waste my breathe arguing with them anymore vile service......

I live in woodburn so as most Will know the Woodburn house ( previous name of jade garden) was the most awful Chinese I'd ever experienced ,I was worried that a name change might not mean a staff/standard change, Listening to neighbours I grabbed the bull by the horns went to jade garden Saturday 3 December 2022 Got the buffet menu for one £9.50 ( I live on my own) I ordered Spring rolls, chicken and green peppers with black bean sauce ,fried rice with free prawn crackers Food excellent, food hot, portion size perfect Service polite and quick Shop was busy And yes I'll be back

1st time of trying this place due to a recommendation. Glas I did amazing food finally found a decent Chinese great value for money too. Will defo be back. Thank you

Moved to Woodburn recently, and have had 2 takeaway meals from Jade Garden. Best authentic Chinese food I've tasted for many years, especially the King Prawn Foo Yong. Minimal waiting time, fresh and so tasty. I'll be back.

Delivery took a while just to get soggy food thats has obvs been frozen, would recommend trying somewhere else if you want nice food.

Only leaving one star as I can't leave no stars This is the worst Chinese I have ever had ordered beef with green peppers and I received a tub of grey meat soup with no flavour what so ever spring rolls and fried rice looked like they were cooked in last weeks cooking oil Salt and chilli chips had little to no salt or chill on them Did get delivered very quickly tho 🤢

Great service and delicious food. We always use this takeaway when visitibg family in woodburn. Only ever collected so can not comment on delivery but confident there wouldn't be any issues. Would definitely recommend
