Busy place but food comes out quickly, and if any "delays" (like chicken being cooked) staff let you know. Staff also very friendly/helpful. Food had a good number of options and always seems to be done to a good standard, never felt unclean etc. Would recommend

When you take out miso soup, because of their poor packing, the bag will be 100% torn.

We had just arrived in Aberdeen via train from Edinburgh and were on our way to the bus station and had a little time to kill. Itsu look3: so clean and bright, we decided to have a little dumpling noodle snack. For a fast food venue, our dumplings was actually quite decent. Everything is so clean and neat like in Japan and they have an awesome Japanese style bathroom!

Came here this afternoon around 3:20pm and I've been stuck on the toilet for about an hour. Shame really my partner was fine but he didn't have the chicken.

First time I had ever tried it today and wow ill be back it's great food and the mochi ... wow amazing. It's much cheaper and better than yo sushi. Such a chilled atmosphere there is seats where you can people watch or if you prefer there's seats at the back which are closed in a bit

Very tasty sushi but is quite expensive compared to other quick service restaurants.

Yesterday at 2 PM, I went with my family to try some sushi. My family ordered sushi, and I got a rice box salad with salmon. Other than coffee and a salad in the morning, I hadn't eaten anything else that day. This morning, I woke up with food poisoning. Maybe I was just unlucky. :(

Holy Moly.I think I have just found my new best "fast food"restaurant!!!!OMG,who knew that simple,fresh and good for you could be so damn tasty.....ITSU does.I have never really tasted anything quite so exciting in a long time.I loved the cute little trays they give you and that you can help yourself to various dips,sauces ect AND the fact that they also have a recycling waste station.My taste buds were truly on fire.I can't say enough so all that's left to say is,if you don't believe me,go try it for yourself.

Today was the first time I tried Itsu sushi, I would say that they are not bad but definitely not my favourite. The price is average but considering that they weren’t that great I would say it’s slightly expensive. I am not internally sure if I would order sushi from there again as there are some better places to order sushi from but I can’t say much about the other food they sell, also I felt like the sushi were not tightly rolled and in some places the seaweed was slightly unfilled. I feel like their other food likes soups and rice etc is tasty but from what I have tried today I wouldn’t say is anything special. However the customer service is very fast and the members of staff are sweet. The place is very clean and pleasant to eat in. Really like the layout and design chosen for it. If I had to choose the favourite sushi out of all I tried today, the dragon ones were the best. I think I would like to come back and try other things to see how I feel about them as many people say they are very tasty.

Dont expect anything like the pictures. Gyoza noodle bowl, gyoza all broken up, weak chicken broth and enough vege to fill a teaspoon, lots of tasteless noodles though. Salmon and Avo dragon rolls, dont bother with chop sticks use a spoon, they aren't even rolled properly and will fall apart at the first attempt.

More than 1 hour waiting for my order and the people after me, bad service, I recommend it

I really like itsu - especially their Miso soup and sushi - I felt that comparison to the itsu versions I went into in London ( which they have everywhere) this restaurant is lacking in the same level of quality. They could do with a better selection and more variety - the London itsu is where I picked up a tofu pre made salad which was delicious. In this branch they have limited options, but the Miso soup was amazing and tasted great. They lack variety and this is the reason I can’t give it a five star. The atmosphere was also very different; I didn’t feel the same friendliness as what I’ve experienced in other itsu restaurants. To make this restaurant into a more welcoming environment the staff should be more welcoming and helpful. More food choices would be good too. Apart from that it’s a nice place to grab some healthy fresh food.

Tasteless sushi and unpleasant soup at just under £20 a person, saved only by the delicious mochi dessert.

Quick easy meal with minimal fuss

Todays (23/12/2023) visit saw me and my daughter going in to fuel up and continue on the mad dash Christmas shopping frenzy. We do love a trip to Itsu, even if it is only to get the mochi. Not today though, we needed the fuel to face the Xmas shopping race. It had been a while since we had visited and there were some new menu items (will try them on our next visit), but we decided on our usual with some extras. It was very busy (roughly 12/1pm, so to be expected) but we managed to secure a seat and didn't have to wait long at all for food. Totally recommend 👌 Food was delicious as always. We ordered avocado maki, Thai curry upon noodles thing, chicken gyozas, bao buns, mango mochi, raspberry and white chocolate mochi 😋 Don't forget to use your discount if you have it! It saved me about £5 off my £30 bill (mine was for student discount) I believe NHS get too, but can't recall all the valid discounts

Busy restaurant Touch screen ordering takes away from then experience. Easy if you have been there before, but how does someone who is new to Japanese food know what to order.

Super tasty food with a great range of vegan options. Perfect for lunch. Felt a bit weird ordering from a screen but stopped me pressure ordering and chose some delicious things. Will definitely be back.

Best Japanese place inside of Union Square. Now I used to work at a Japanese chain restaurant in union square (I shan't name names) So I was hesitant to try itsu simply because of the general food quality where I worked. But my expectations were more than exceeded. The broth in the noodle bowls, I was expecting to be bland stock, but I was wrong, it's obvious that the focus of the noodle bowls was supposed to be the toppings and they were also excellent but the broth flavoured with soy and miso, it actually tasted like a proper broth should! it was flavourful and rich and was complemented very well by the selection of veg in the noodle bowl, as for the toppings well the veg gyoza was honestly the best I've had in a while. The miso soup was also really nice, the ammount of ingredients for what is essentially a side dish a lot (in a good way) and like the noodle bowl all the ingredients worked well with each other. I had low expectations going into itsu but my expectations were blown out of the water, if itsu continues delivering this level of quality I shall continue to order there.

Came in very late at night, staff were still extremely friendly and welcoming, despite us coming right before close, Food was also fresh and everything we wanted was available In particular declan and John were super friendly, informative and made our visit even more enjoyable.

What a great service we had today, it's wasn't our first time at ITSU but we were truly pleasantly surprised today by one of the staff member who approached my lil sister who had her birthday and gave us a happy birthday gift (chocolate genache mochi) and wishes. We love to come to itsu after shopping with a family and this was a very nice surprise. Food as always fresh and yummy. Staff very lovely and attentive. Thank you so much! 💛

Fast efficient and quality food

We visited Itsu at Union Square, Aberdeen, as we needed a fast bite before going to the cinema. Ordering the food from the electronic panels was a breeze, the food was ready extremely fast, and it was delicious and filling 😊👍. My only complaint would be that there was only one bin available, which was overflowing. Maybe adding another one or more regular bag changes would be an idea 😊

On y mange bien avec beaucoup de choix et une rapidité de service. Les plats sont bien préparés et bons, les thés sont goutus et les tables bien pensés avec sauce soja et teriyaki à disposition.

There are more variety of dishes than what I thought it's a refreshing change from normal Scottish food it's also a nice cafe to sit in and more planet friendly than 99% of places to eat in

Loved the fact they had allergy sheets that included sulphites, something not all places put on the sheets. Food was very tasty, no long waits to get the food. Staff very friendly and attentive

Usually great food and delivered quickly. (Just Eat) This time it took forever to assign a driver. When one was assigned, the order was picked up, and the driver/rider bumbled about in the centre of town for 10 minutes. The location signal was eventually lost and then the order was apparently cancelled. That was a waste of an hour.

First time I have been to this type of food place it won't be the last time I am in Itzu... easy to navigate touchscreen menu and pat facilities butore importantly the food I had was delicious best I gave had in a long time so tasty and surprisingly filing wish I had tried it sooner...a bonus the staff were super and very helpful

The cashiers were standing (2 female) - I was waiting for my mum and going thru menu as I noticed they were clearly standing, looking at me, talking about me and ...LAUGHING! Very rude! Keept on going for good 3 or 4 minutes, I decided to leave and NEVER come back! Awful feeling!

The worst food I have ever eaten came from here. It's not even close to being Asian food. It's trash for white people who don't know any better. I hope it closes

The food is always fresh and really quick service. Card only payment is a little annoying. Customising your meal is difficult on the machines so you have to do this at the counter. Green tea is one the best I've tasted from this type of this place.

I had the veggie noodles with goyza, very tasty. Good portions. Served quickly and the restaurant is very clean. I would definitively recommend it

I have never been so utterly disgusted by a taste in my life. Duck bao buns... dreadful taste, couldn't even convince myself to finish 1 let alone 3. £5.65 for 3 "fresh" bao buns that were clearly pre cooked and just sat under the hot pass. Won't be back to any Itsu establishment after this, can't get rid of the horrible taste at the back of my mouth.

Not good, range of sushi isn't great, service was good, mochi was terrible so small and didn't taste great.I had duck dumplings they were not fresh and the middle was more of a duck paste with no pieces of duck in it?! I won't be back.

This was my first visit here. The place was clean and my order arrived pretty soon. In veg, will recommend their Korean spicy stir-fry noodles.

Best place if you feel like eating out whilst trying to be healthy. The low kcal options are really tasty and quickly prepared. The service there is immaculate - front manager made us feel right at home.

Using kiosks, you can order and then receive your food very quickly. The food is fresh and tasty. Could be improved with a few more custom options such as sugar for tea, etc.

Friendly staff, sushi was ok, rice bowls couldn't be eaten by any of our party because they all tasted overwhelmingly of coriander. Won't be going here again

Arrived hungry with high expectations, ended up dropping the cutlery on the table after 2-3 morsels and leaving. The taste of the food was horrid.

Terrible sushi. Made on the spot, sure ... but when?? Server pulled a container off the shelf and when I asked him for "fresh" his reply was, "That is fresh". It tasted like day old sushi. Rice was dry and hard, no flavour. Sat at a table and nearby was all dirty with food. No one cleaning up. Really disappointing. Might as well have bought it at the grocery store.

After 20’ waiting for a two persons order during off peak hours, we’ve got some expired mochi desserts as apologies. What a joke!

Food was great but the two times we visited, we had to go up to ask about our orders after 20+ mins because we hadn't been called out yet they had disappeared from the order screen. Additionally, the servers didn't seem to know much about dietary requirements (I have a gluten allergy). It would be good to have better dietary/allergen labelling on the order screens and also to know how large a factor cross contamination is in the food preparation - the woman I asked was clueless. Please train your staff properly on allergens.

Went to itsu a few weeks ago was really not expecting anything as good as YO! But after ordering and getting my food i was impressed, the price is pretty decent for what you get, yes they can be slow but only if it’s busy which is understandable, For those that have not been Check it out, it’s a mix between wagamamas and yo! All and all I’ll be choosing itsu over yo! from now on 👏🏻
