Ingliston Country Club & Hotel in Renfrewshire

Just had dinner here. Very nice indeed. Good service, helpful friendly staff.

Not up to the costs incurred in this hotel, they focus too much on wedding venues, and exclude customer service, my room was so small I could hardly move around, hotel room was way too expensive.

Booked a 3 bed log cabin with my family to celebrate my Wife’s birthday. When arriving at the hotel to check in the reception team were very helpful, however when we reached the lodge the standards were shocking to say the least. We entered the lodge, quickly reviewed the facilities, and found the following: Air fryer was disgusting, it looked as though its needs replaced or could have done with a good clean. We looked at the crockery, the first bowl we tried to use, was filthy and not cleaned. We opened the fridge and the shelves were absolutely disgusting. Due to the poor condition, the only use for it was to keep our juice and beers cool, you could not have used it for any fresh foods. When entering the rooms the en-suite toilet door was broken and wouldn’t close due to the lock being missing from the door. The en-suite sink was blocked and backed up anytime you run the water to the point of overflowing. The main toilet seat was broken and the stain on the carpets would turn your stomach. Later in the evening we decided to use the Hot Tub and Sauna, firstly the lighting was very poor, the walkway had no lights, we had to rely on our mobile phone lights to allow us to get the the Hot Tub safely. Furthermore, my daughters boyfriend had flowers delivered to reception and the hotel staff mentioned they would have them delivered to the lodge for 8.30am. There were several attempts at calling the reception however at no point did anyone answer the phone and he eventually had to make the journey to the reception to collect them himself which took the surprise element away and left him feeling disappointing considering all this was planned in advance. We booked Palamino’s restaurant and the food was nice, however when we ordered our desserts one arrived promptly and the second one was over 20mins. When we asked why there was a delay and were told it’s coming from the kitchen; eventually 25 mins later we decided to cancel the dessert as it still hadn’t arrived. The cost of staying certainly does not reflect the 5 star Luxury lodge doesn’t meet the standards that’s advertised. I certainly would not recommend this to any family and friends.

Shocking customer service. Coffee was absolutely disgusting especially as they claim “premium”… £10 for these 2 items. Don’t see what I’m paying for tbh.

Stayed here for just under a week. Stayed in the hotel for part of the trip and the lodges for the rest. The grounds are absolutely stunning, the hotel was very clean and felt updated. Seeing and interacting with the horses was such a plus! The shower in the hotel room was great, a decent size and had fantastic water pressure. The standard room was a bit crowded and the beds were horribly uncomfortable, along with the flat pillows. The lodges (we had two) were very nice, roomy, clean and felt very private. The beds in the lodges were also uncomfortable and the pillows were the same flat pillows. The showers in the lodges were awful. Hardly any water pressure, and our other lodge couldn’t get hot water. We managed though and enjoyed our stay regardless. Breakfast was a great plus, but wish there were rotating options. Even changes to the options (such as scrambled eggs vs fried) Both the hotel and lodges could use some improvements in the bed/bedding department. There is laundry in the RV park, but it took most of the day to do a load. 1. Because there is only one washer and dryer, and 2. Because the dryer was absolutely awful. Had laundry drying for over two hours and it was still very wet. More washers and dryers would be a great improvement, along with laundry soap and products available for purchase. As for the grounds, it would’ve been great if there were a few vending machines. For snacks, drinks-water, personal products(chapstick, bandaids, feminine products) and even the laundry products. Even a little lobby store with these things would be so nice. Being located out of town, there aren’t many close stores without getting a taxi. Over all, was a great place to stay, with their own restaurant option which is delicious. Would stay again.

Had this given as a wedding present. I night dinner bed and breakfast. Checked in on line. Very easy arrived reception staff friendly. Our room great view over the field with horse's in it. Dinner booked for 6.30. restaurant decor nice. Ordered off the Al a cart menu and we just had to pay the difference as you get allocated 21.95 per person for dinner. Draught diet coke flat. Tempura veg only got 3 types of peppers no other veg. Prawn cocktail bland. Main course. Sea bass with over buttered mashed potato. Steak pie nice but watery gravy. Took away a strawberry tart to our room. It's ok bit over priced at 6.00. Bedroom bit dated and basic uncomfortable bed. Breakfast served buffet style everything Luke warm. Have to say left a little disappointed in the whole visit. Great location with nice views very clean and well maintained grounds would we return probably not.

We had a most enjoyable stay for 2 night's to celebrate Hogmanay!!. Room's were comfortable and spotlessly clean. Reception Staff were very welcoming ,friendly and extremely helpful with changes to our booking. We enjoyed lovely Scottish Breakfast in the Dining Room. Food and service was excellent . Dinner on our 1st night was most enjoyable and food and service was excellent. Gala Night was a wonderful experience!! Food,Service, atmosphere and entertainment was great. A most enjoyable time was had by all. Thanks to everyone at Ingliston fir making our stay so enjoyable.

Took my neice for lunch today. She loved it. Was very impressed. I haven't been in a while and had forgotten just how nice it is. Will definitely be back sooner rather than later. Food was excellent as was the service. Very attentive but not overbearing staff.

Brought our little boy to see Santa today. Absolutely amazing! He loved every minute of it. Very well thought out and personal. The girl Holly Holiday knew his name and Santa was very welcoming had a chat with our son and made it all very magical. Also a great gift which my son loved! 5 stars from us.

Visited for dinner. Service was quick despite being quite busy. I was disappointed with one dish, which was the lasagne. It was more like tomato soup with one sheet of pasta floating about. Steak pie was okay, but I've had better. Won't be rushing back anytime soon.

What a wonderful place . As I am in a wheelchair and have speech problems I was worried. I was treated absolutely fantastic by the staff . The place was easy to get around by wheelchair i was not restricted in any way . The food was exceptional in the restaurant. Breakfast was buffet style warm and tasty also a good variety of hot and cold . This is somewhere I will be returning to again and again. All the staff are a credit to the place

Visited the Palomino Restaurant and the service was excellent.Staff are lovely especially Ross (very entertaining) and Amy( patient and sweet) the food was amazing amazing and good sized portions. Definitely be going again.

This place is quite a find. I was here for a daytime event is the splendid Art Deco room which looks onto the riding facilities. We were really well looked after - didn’t have time to explore further but seems like there’s lots more to it!

Fantastic location with great service

Arrived without a reservation and were warmly greeted by John. He helped us find an easy place as we didn't need electricity or water connection. Thank you John. The place is really recommended.

My stepdaughter held her wedding the cabins were amazing the venue it's self was big but service was amazing they could do enough to make u feel welcome and went above to make my stepdaughter wedding amazing day

We recently stayed t nights on their Motorhome Aire, which is beautifully laid out abd with excellent facilities. Large, serviced pitches, excellent showers and laundry facilities for just £1 per hour. Easy booking on line and a really helpful warden make this a great stay. You can have a stable tour for £10 or have a riding lesson. There's a restaurant and cocktail bar and you are 5 minutes by taxi to Bishopton train station. 23 minutes later you're in Glasgow Central for under £6 return. Highly recommend.

Lots of wee issues would stop us from coming back. Lodge was lovely, issues were fridge not clean, bulbs out, telephone not working, WiFi out, no phone signal available, hot tub poor. Have to walk around the lodge to get to hot tub, surely it would've been better to have the lodge facing other way. With views over hills as a plus point as well as access to the facilities improved! Good points, sauna was nice. Robes were lovely, restaurant was good value for money. Could not use facilities after 11 or next morning! A lot of money for a nice bed, and robe!

Absolutely loved my stay here. Was perfect. Such an unique place. Left feeling super relaxed. The food in Palominos was fantastic. All staff we encountered were credit to the hotel. Cannot wait to return x

Just went for a meal and was impressed with the setting and surroundings. The meal wasn't the best I've had and the portions on the small side for what you pay.

Stayed at ingliston hotel in bishopton and had a great experience . Davie up at the hotel was fantastic and very much looked after us during our stay . Will be back again

We four family went into the restaurant for a main meal. Beautiful surrounds, friendly staff and lovely food made our visit a great experience. We are going back for my brother-in-law 70th birthday but this time we are staying as well.

We went to Palominos for a meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful te restaurant is well set out. The food was excellent.

Can't speak highly enough about this hotel,was attending a wedding and stayed overnight in hotel ( receptionist couldn't do enough for me) restaurant staff were attentive but not too much, breakfast staff were excellent

Excellent venue. I attended for a friend's wedding. The staff were great and the lodges were fabulous! Highly recommend.

The venue is beautiful. The restaurant has changed. As a frequent customer I found my last experience really poor. Waited 50mins for 3 main courses. Ie a pizza, fish and steak. Oh BTW the £30 steak doesn't come with chips....just mushrooms. That's correct the chips are extra! Brought the delay to the waitress attention, and explained that not one person had check or even asked of we needed more drinks. The food then arrives and my son who ordered the steak with no tomatoes gets tomatoes....sends its back. 5mins later it comes back, I ask about chips to them be told no the steaks don't come with chips. I said you asked about steak sauce but didn't mention the sides.....still feeling robbed at £30 a steak with no chips. My dish arrived....no peas with fish they come back 5mins later to say oh yeah it comes with peas. Normally I wouldn't post a review but I was so shocked at how badly the situation was handled and I canot get over a steak with no chips Apparently my fault for not reading the menu properly....I have been 100s and when I order a steak it comes with chips So given all the added extras you have just made a go to place no longer a go to place. Ingliston please remember it's your locals that keep businesses afloat

We use the campervan pitch which is brilliant, right beside the restaurant and toilet facilities. Beautiful surroundings.

Beautiful meal at Ingliston today as always. Would like to see some salmon on menu though.

Fantastic hotel with great staff

We stayed in a lodge, wot a fantastic lodge it was , spotless, bedrooms was beautiful, the whole lodge was beautiful , the food and cocktails where out of this world . Only down side was hot tub had no cover , so it was raining and bit uncomfortable but we did not care we still used it , The sauna was fantastic to , we will defo be back , Actually we did not want to leave !

Location was great we managed a taxi there & back from Glasgow. Had a fantastic girls weekend. Staff were great & very helpful. The lodge we booked was lovely & close to hotel reception

Was given a 1 night stay with dinner and breakfast as a gift. Staff were very nice and friendly. Food in the restaurant was absolutely amazing, couldn't fault a single thing. The deal we had gives you £22/person off you meal, so had to put something to it but was well worth it. Room was very spacious and had a great view. Breakfast was really nice too, has all the usual full hot breakfast items and also cereal, toast, croissants, tea & coffee etc. Highly recommended for all.

Wonderful lunch Had the Chichen Supreme...it was delicious! Cakes are out of this world.

Why feature on four in a bed if they're employees?!

Restaurant & staff dinner wise was good and could not fault. But breakfast service was the worst I've ever experienced to date anywhere, even low star. Only a hello eventually as we walked in. Did not know how breakfast worked or whether to just go get a seat and start or not. No tea or coffee offering so figured that out ourself as well. One machine was down and the other did not work. Not one check back or even circling near our table. That was the only contact even on the way out. I had been in touch over a money discrepancy and that's been poor as well. Also passed over and l was told the relevant people would get in touch. They never ever did. This was a first experience and supposed to be a treat for a very very important reason. Very disappointed on a few levels. Honestly not what l expected from this hotel.

Overpriced, pretentious, underwhelming 🤔

I stayed with friends for a hen night last weekend . The customer service was great and I got immediate replies to emails about arrangements etc. The lodges were immaculate, spacious , modern and provided everything we needed . We loved the hot tub and sauna. All staff were great from the check in , food delivery service, breakfast service and check out . There was lots of choice at breakfast and the pizzas and various fries from Palomino’s were delicious. We will be back . Thankyou

Had an amazing stay with a free upgrade to the junior suite which was a great surprise as we hadn’t seen the email telling us this so we were delighted, beautiful room, immaculate, and the jacuzzi tub was amazing. Lovely staff. We will definitely be back.

Enjoyed meal with family. Special offer between 4pm and 6pm good value. Enjoyed seeing the horses through the window. Kids would love this.

Had a fabulous night at a private function for a 90th birthday party! Venue was beautiful and the staff could not do enough for you.
