Great place to make the wives happy.Just drop them in and let the magic begin. Nice and huge collections of items and households, from cutleries to furnitures to home furnishings. The eatery just gives ur tummy a delight when it gets craving for food and lots of space for the whole family to enjoy 😉

Was in one a Saturday afternoon Car park was nearly full, inside the customers were in constant motion, but the place is so large and for a casual visitor I thought if I got lost in the many books and crannies I may have to stay the night, or maybe found as an emaciated skeleton some weeks later in a rarely visited section of the store It is an IKEA, the selection of goods is extensive and competitively priced.

Very poorly stocked, items that are marked as stocked in Glasgow are not actually in stock. This is the third time I’ve been to the store after checking it’s in stock in the store to find that it’s not. Website is saying 18 available but helpful man at Ikea confirmed it’s not and advised this happens a lot. Sort it out Ikea, it’s just a waste of peoples time. Your staff were helpful and apologetic at least, but this store is pretty awful.

Glasgow Ikea, I was first in the queue at the cafe this morning but was given unpalatable sausages, obviously trying to get rid of yesterdays dried up ones, guy looked at me and thought theres a female mug to give these to. I got replacements but shame on him, I shouldn't have to ask for fresh food when its there in abundance. I didnt eat any of the sausages and you've lost my custom.

Visiting this store is a nightmare, staff just keeps lying to me, got my order for a new bed one week ago, staff made a note and promised to deliver to my address one week later but I’ve been waiting all day and no one showed up to deliver. Drove 7 miles to the store and ask, another staff checked their system and no deliver was arranged. No text, no email, and no phone calls to me. One day before their promised delivery date, I went to store and double checked with one staff, she said the status was pending delivery, so who’s actually telling me the truth? Been sleeping on a mattress for one week and waiting for a proper bed, but still they’re just a disappointment. I wish they could at least show some respect to their jobs, don’t just chill out there, if they can’t do it, just quit. They’re just humiliating themselves.

I would suggest the IKEA food store to export its frozen hot dogs and meatballs to the local stores in all Glasgow areas, since it is very delicious and popular among the local people. I believe it will help you to expand your business and make you a better brand as well as better wealth. As a person who lives in the city center, i think it is quite hard for me to travel all along just to get a bunch of frozen hotdogs from your official store. It would be better to get them in local stores nearby.

Review based on rude staff member who was aggressive towards me as I tried to enter the lady's toilet when she threw her cleaning trolly in front of me, preventing me from entering. I asked if I could pop in as I'd been walking around the shop for hours and was told 'essential maintenance'. She blocked the entrance for people already inside the toilet who struggled to get out.. so rude and unprofessional to treat customers this way.

Score mainly for the bistro/takeaway as you exit, the new screen ordering system is rubbish, doesn’t work half the time (screens are out) and never have the sweet treats like donuts anymore. This is based on more than one visit and at different times of the week. Hardly any seating next to it either, much preferred the previous system. The veg curry was luke warm and I was charged £6.20 for both the veg curry and a cup of tea. Apparently it is £1.75 if you do not have an IKEA card and £0.50, if you do. I spoke to the manager, he informed me that the lettering has all been legally check out. I FEEL I CANNOT RECOMMEND IKEA TO ANYONE AFTER MY EXPERIENCE HERE. Not impressed with our experience today. If the table is only available for 2 hours then the customer should be informed when taking the booking. But the main problem is poor service! If you want to have the table back in 2hours then service and organisation has to improve. Delays in taking orders, serving courses slowly, taking too long to serve drinks is not the fault of the customer. We were forced into leaving behind drinks that we had paid for. We were rushed out by staff, pity we they hadn't rushed to serve us at the start. Very disappointed and won't return. There are much warmer, more welcoming restaurants with efficient service to eat in.
