Went in to purchase some much needed home upgrades and it was just ok at best!There’s hardly any staff, and the ones we did interact with were very dismissive as they were on their phone. Leaves a sour taste as shopping around in Ikea gets tiring and the last thing you need is staff not being helpful towards you. Left slightly disappointed.

It's the best place to go for buying anything for your home. The prices are reasonable and you have different varieties of options. Very clean and easy to check the items yourself

Can never go into IKEA for just 1 thing. The deal for Fridays in the restaurant is a good bonus too. Breakfast was decent

I love ikea you get plenty of ideas when just walking around and very reasonable prices.

Always love an excuse to visit ikea. This time for holiday accessories- great packing cubes, cable bag, money belt, laundry bags. All fab. Had a hotdog too obviously lol. Like the giant hotdog in the wee roll.

It's always great, but I did find some staff very unhelpful 😕 others though were great as usual 👍

Busy store and decent eating area with fair prices. Only issue was finding what I wanted. One staff member was very abrupt and ignorant towards me whilst another could not do enough to help me. Checkouts were also busy and a queue at the collection area. Plenty of car parking spaces

Incompetent and rude staff, today I had a horrible experience after waiting 1 hour in line to book a delivery, I was served at 4pm by a girl who wasn't nice at all, black hair, robust. He couldn't find my house number so he told me they couldn't do the delivery, I advised them to put it in the system because I've always purchased from them. He told me he knew what to do and he offended me. I didn't purchase. nothing and I asked for a refund. Select your staff better

Great place for stuff .but went early to get out early. Tills should be better served at 10.15 .some people get in and out quickly. Coffee machine ran out. Only 1 available.

Spent a few hours going round here picking things up for the house. We had our 3 year old which wasn't ideal. There is a soft play area you can leave your kids but there was a 20 minute waiting time so we just took ours round with us

Amazing. I'm still in it now, as it is absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to buy my Poäng chair, and it has the best café in Glasgow. Edit: I changed my mind and have gone for the Strandmon.

Busy. Didnt know they allow dogs in! Went for lunch food was cold ate it anyway couldn't be bothered going through the hassle of going back with food.

Ikea is a lovely place for furnishings your house. Prices actually are fair and reasonably affordable. They have so much variety that it is so easy to spend the whole day shopping. The staff are professional and helpful. I would definitely recommend it. 👌

IKEA was an expensive but fun trip, as always.

The other day, I visited IKEA, one of the largest furniture stores in the world. Even though I had a clear idea of what I wanted to buy, I found myself lost in the vastness of the store. With a limited amount of time on my hands, I was getting anxious and frustrated. Fortunately, I stumbled upon a friendly and helpful staff member named Donald. I approached him and explained my situation. He was incredibly patient and listened carefully to my needs. He then expertly guided me to the exact locations of the items I needed, and even shared some useful tips on how to maximize my shopping experience. He made sure that everything I was looking for was available and in stock. Furthermore, he showed me the most efficient route to the checkout counter, which saved me a lot of time and effort. I was able to finish my shopping quickly, thanks to his excellent service. Overall, the store was amazing, but it was Donald's exceptional customer service that made my experience even better. I am grateful for his help, and I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for quality furniture and excellent service. Great job, Donald!

So disappointed in the choice of gluten free food in the Cafe. Please please give us More options. A gluten free sandwich would even be good. I always just end up with a plate of chips. Really not good enough for such a big store!

Love IKEA, even when I just go for a look around to pass an hour or two i always come home with something.

What a place to shop kitchen equipment and tools So many inspiring things Love it

As always there were many interesting things and gadgets, which as soon as you see them you realise that you really need in your life... if only you had more space. 🤣 The food in the restaurant/canteen was nothing spectacular, but it's good value for money. We usually get hotdogs which are fabulous.

Easy walk around and catching ideas. The showroom with the smell of old coal fire was delightful. Restaurant wS up to usual sta darts.

Had plenty of what I needed did not see any empty shelves and any staff members we spoke to were very polite and courteous.

Quintessential IKEA. Friendly and helpful staff, well planned layout and gazillion options and gadgets for furniture and home living, and the possible lifestyles they showcase. The furniture in all it's manifestations aside, the place was buzzing - if IKEA found a way to harness all that brain energy expended in the store, they could probably power the whole site, and more possibly. Exhilarating and exhausting in equal measure.

First visit to the store, no staff visable on the floor, had to go looking for someone, then as we past an areas the staff were congregated in an area and the laughter and even the language was disgraceful, I mentioned to a staff member and was advised it would be dealt with and I looked back and a male staff member looked at me in a way I felt uncomfortable. Poor play I asked if the area they were in was break area which I was not, so for the staff members talking and chatting and not taking and notice of customers needing help, is very poor.

Lots of choices, good ideas I still find the layout a pain

I was in yesterday, was so annoyed to find a group of 6 or 7 staff standing around as if it was a night out near the bit that sells cushions when going around the rest of the store there was hardly any staff. Are there no managers on a Saturday night to sort this, .

Great shop for furniture and houseware but wish the food in the cafe had more choice. The tomato pasta was not very pleasant.

I'll no be rushing to Sweden for a meatball anytime soon.

This place is amazing. Always gives me new inspiration and at the best prices. I love visiting this store. And prices are affordable too.

Bought a new kitchen. From the minute it was delivered its been a disaster. From the fitter we had to use via IKEA who refused to start work until we paid an additional £120 for saw blades, glue etc even though we paid the entire balance to IKEA for the kitchen + install charge. To the damaged worktops from the factory. Ikea having no customer support of note, even in store when trying to speak to some one we were told to call the customer support number... Asking to speak to the complaints department instore and being sent to customer service, to then be given a QR code to scan that takes you to a survey. This is beyond incompetent. I am now out of pocket for a kitchen that was supposed to be finished 4 weeks ago, no correspondence from IKEA. Save your money, go somewhere else and pay the extra for a proper kitchen company. The money you save here is just not worth it.

I went today and there was someone giving balloons and face painting. Food Amazing as usual.

Good selection, layout is ok - the first floor allows for you to see how the items would look in an interior, and on the ground floor you can go and buy them as many as you need. Also refreshing to see some modern design solutions and ideas like we’ve had in Europe for decades without all the carpets covering 100% of all spaces that the British love so dearly 😁 Very crowded on weekends, choose another day if you have an opportunity

Bite to eat before getting wardropes,

The IKEA gauntlet! A convoluted linear path around a huge showroom and shop designed to make you look at as much stuff that you don't want or need as possible in the hope that you'll buy a load of stuff you didn't intend when you arrived. Can't stand it. Cafe is nice and cheap tho 😊

The delivery team were friendly. However, I ordered multiple items and one of them was not delivered. I was not emailed to make me aware of this. I paid £25 for my items to be delivered today, and this was not carried out. It wasn’t delivered due to it being out of stock. This is not the delivery teams fault, it is ikeas. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied.

Lots to choose from. Textiles good price range, mainly of plain, ethnic or scandic design. Cafe supplies foods and drinks Toilets clean. Good accessibility. Plenty parking. Staff helpful. Good room displays. Long walk round but shortcuts to oiher depts can be foundm.

Really good value but the children’s macaroni cheese is too salty for my 3 year old. It needs a lot less seasoning The other meals were good with no complaints

Had the best cinnamon roll of my life from the wee take-away cafe bit downstairs. The 1kg bags of meatballs are a bit expensive though at £7.50 when you can buy Swedish meatballs from Tesco for £5.75 for the same weight bag and they taste the exact same (I got some from the IKEA cafe). Seemingly no way to get back upstairs without going back to the start of the store from what I could tell so was unable to get everything I went in for as by the time we got all the way round the ground floor we were at the checkout and too exhausted to go back in and all the way around again to get the one thing I needed. Had fun while there though, will be back, just wish that if there were other ways to get upstairs that there was a sign to point this out the same way as they have arrows to guide you through the store.

Absolutely awful breakfast. Cold and congealed. Cold Grey sausages. Cold Bacon swimming in watery fat. Every item on the plate was horrible. To add insult to injury the coffee station was filthy and the beverages tepid. Milk dispenser was broken so had to use the slightly warm carton of milk which had been supplied. . Had same experience last time I used the restaurant..don’t know why I gave it another go but certainly won’t make the same mistake again. Really poor IKEA.

I absolutely love going to IKEA Glasgow for coffee. They don’t do decaf and they don’t do many vegan treats or gluten-free, but I go anyway because it’s such a lovely experience. The seating area is extensive, and I really like the bit at the back where there are sofas and nice lighting with a good view of the hills outside. There’s quite a chill vibe and there’s even paras sockets if you want to work or do something with your laptop. When we go in the morning, there is generally lots of seats. They have a good selection of pastries. If you don’t have the gluten problem I do, but there is some fruit and various things available for people who are intolerant. The price of things in the café is also ridiculously cheap and you can have unlimited refills of coffee and tea. As a haiku: Coffee on demand, Hills view, pastries, seats abound, Work, relax, sip, calm.

Very unhelpful staff shame that IKEA pride themselves on being so right on but nit helpful when it comes to assisting someone with a wheelchair and a lot of shopping

The lady who sits on the till in the restaurant in the Glasgow IKEA who is called Jacqui needs to be removed from any customer facing duties as her attitude is appalling, her customer skill levels are shocking and she acts as if she is doing you a favour. She does not want to help anyone and when you ask her something she makes you feel as if you have no right to ask any questions and that you are annoying her . This has happened every time we visit when Jacqui is on the till.

It’s IKEA. They’re all the same standard. Which is good.

Love shopping here. Always good for furniture. Left a happy customer. Apart from the inexperienced bit at the till. Only 1 person serving at the tills and there was a massive que waiting to pay for their stuff. Definitely need more staff at checkouts

Despite advertising an assortment of breakfast items we were informed after waiting in the queue that there were none left. When I say informed the colleague barked at us that there was none left.This is the kind of attitude I'd expect off a 5 year old and not the 40 odd year old serving us. The woman at the til wasn't much better in attitude when we were trying to pay for drinks. It's evident customer service in your café in Glasgow isn't required to work here.Wont be rushing back.

I do not recommend! The employees there are liars! We filed a complaint and they told us that the new wardrobe would arrive on January 3! On January 3, I saw on the Ikea website that delivery would only be on January 5, ok! We were told that they would take away the old wardrobe! Which turned out to be a lie! !!!! I do not recommend!!!!

Everyone loves Ikea. So many things & not enough time to buy. If it's not classed as a day out then they're lying! Love it!

Hard to tell one big blue box from another, except maybe Glasgow stands apart for its friendly staff. Meatballs and gravy is always a winner, and we all know the pain, anguish and achievement that can only come from building something with an allen key

Getting parked is okay but getting my way around, I thought as I embarked on a solitary journey through this vast desert of retail space the relentless lighting beating down, sapping my energy with each arduous step was tough. The unforgiving flooring beneath my feet seemed to absorb what little strength remained, and the air, thick and dry, left me gasping for every breath and started playing tricks on my tired mind. With each passing moment, the need for water intensified, a desperate thirst settling in. The once-promising adventure now unfolded as a test of endurance, where the relentless Scandinavian chic and unforgiving terrain conspired to drain my vitality, underscoring the harsh reality of IKEA’s uncompromising nature. Also, I picked up my online items, no bother at all.

Stopped into cafe for bite to eat, worst bowl of soup ever, was tepid and as not supposed to use the microwave used to heat baby bottles, could not eat it., chips also lukewarm.

They had the model I wanted, but not the colour, pity, had to order something else It's possible they don't do the colour I wanted. (Mustard)
