Icestone Gelato in Manchester

Packaging was good, and the food tasted like the name: Chocolate ice cream just tasted like ice And the chocolate cake tasted like something in between a pebble and the Sahara dessert. If you want a cool water bottle, ice, and pebble cake then this is the place for you habibi.

It was a sunny day, so my friend and I ventured here for some ice cream. Being in a student area, it was very reasonably priced. I got 2 scoops- Honeycomb and Peanut Butter- which were both decent. There are other desserts like waffles on the menu, if you fancy something more filling!

I’ve been before and had terrible service, but decided to go again yesterday as it was close to where family and I had dinner. As my sibling suggested it, decided to give it a try again, hoping it had improved! So they don’t cater for dairy free or decaf option at all. They charged me £1.49 for hot tap water! Yup actually £1.49! Never mind that they didn’t have any hot drinks that I could order! This was NOT bottled water. To top it off, the pancakes I’d ordered didn’t arrive after 30 mins of waiting. Had to cancel the pancakes in the end as it was time to leave! Absolute shambles, don’t bother. If you have allergies or intolerances, they don’t think you matter! Appalling, that they’re a dessert shop and do not cater for ppl with allergies or intolerances, or vegan diet.

The cornflake cake & custard is 10/10. Very good portion size & very generous with the amount of custard (not just a drizzle like some places) Was still hot when it arrived. Also the cookie dough is a good size & comes with a little pot of ice cream, definitely enough to fill you up. Would definitely order again!

I spent £13.56 on cheesecake on ice cream, and asked for a glass of water to go with it, only to be told it was "company policy not to give out tap water". Well it's my policy to dish out 1-star review to businesses which treat their customers with contempt. I won't be be back.

We ordered via 'Just Eat' and we waited, and waited, and waited some more. The order never arrived. So we tried to contact the restaurant several times, and there was no answer. We then contacted Just Eat directly, and they informed us apparently our order had been delivered. Which obviously wasn't true, so someone has lied about it being delivered. Now we have to wait for Just Eat to see if they want to give us a refund or not. Which is absolute rubbish in my opinion. If this restaurant is confirming orders when they haven't been delivered, and making money from it. Then it is an absolute disgrace, and they need to be taken off the Just Eats page for good.

I ordered a falooda amongst other things! The falooda tastes absolutely awful, it was way too sweet and had way too much rose syrup! It was supposed to be a kulfi flavoured falooda and all I could taste was rose syrup! I went back and asked the worker to swap it, all he said that he could do was to add more milk?! Again this wouldn’t make it taste more like kulfi it would taste like milk instead! It was my first and last time going here, they just lost a customer. I’d spent over £20 on desserts the least they could’ve done was to swap the falooda for me. As well as this the so called “gelato” ice cream tasted nothing like authentic gelato I’ve cream! No real flavour whatsoever!

Varied menu and efficient service. It wasn't the best place we've been to for desserts but it definitely wasn't the worst either - portion sizes were fine. We ordered a banana & strawberry waffle + a cookie dough with the fruit smoothie & mocha for drinks. The cost was approx £19. Everywhere seemed clean and plenty of flavour choices.

Came in and ordered a white chocolate cookie dough and cornflake cake and custard. The manager also specifically asked do we want the Nutella or the white chocolate one and we stated the white chocolate one with no strawberry sauce. Guess which one we received you guessed it the Nutella one !!! To top it off my custard was cold and when I asked for it to be reheated it then came way to hot and as a result was soggy !!! Will not be going here again

Average dessert parlour. Nothing special, good dessert and staff just doing their job. Menu prices were fair in relation to other dessert places however the seating arrangement is quite cramped, had there been more than 2 groups of people in there you’d find yourself dining...
