Iberico is the best expression of the Spanish gastronomy in Sheffield. Dani the owner is a great person with a huge knowledge and passion for his work. Every time the experience is just perfect, and every time he comes up with some sublime wine from different regions. Iberico is the expression of quality and I truly recommend it to anyone who loves or wants to taste the original Spanish gastronomy.

We’ve been here before and loved it and we’ll certainly be coming again. We spend a lot of time in Andalucia and the tapas at Iberico would more than hold their own in the tapas bars that we love. The olives and fresh bread were a stand-out starter and even better-flavoured than we’ve often been offered. Jenny then tucked into a bowl of gambas pil-pil that certainly had the required amount of chilli and garlic and oil with the prawns, shared a plate of excellent pan-fried artichokes, and also gave a big thumbs-up to her tapas bowl of chicken thighs cooked in a whisky and cream sauce. I had the lion’s share of some delicious patatas bravas and a plate of really toothsome home made croquettes. Pair that with a couple of glasses of full bodied house red (served properly at room temperature), and we left feeling very happy. You will too, I’m sure.

This review is well overdue, and I almost want to keep this place a secret it’s that amazing! We have been twice already and are due back on Saturday with much excitement. The tapas is the best we have had outside of Barcelona and some of the dishes are better than what we had when we were over there. The menu has changed slightly each time we have been so they are always thinking of new and exciting dishes, but we are always spoilt for choice and there are also always some lovely specials on offer. We have already recommended IberiCo to numerous family members and also brought them with us on our recent meals. The owner is always really friendly as are all the staff and we love sitting in eye line of the kitchen so we can watch the magic taking place. A truly special experience which you won’t want to miss!

Good tapas, not cheap but average prices, service a bit slow at times but friendly, nice loo (judge a kitchen by the loo), fairly average atmosphere/interior decor. Best patatas bravas ever tasted. Artichokes good. Beef good. Prawns average. Chicken dull.

Just brilliant! Wonderful Spanish food, great atmosphere and friendly staff! Dan is so knowledgeable about the food and wine and it makes for a great dining experience. Can’t wait to go back to try more, but make sure you have the prawns and also the croquettes which are so tasty! Don’t hesitate booking, you’ll be pleased you’ve been!

I really enjoyed our visit with friends. Nice cosy atmosphere, quite a lively buzz so quite noisy but we could converse ok. All the food was delicious, and seemed like quality ingredients. I particularly loved the smoked sardines, very intense, our enthusiastic waitress told us that they are a speciality of the chef. I definitely want to visit again.

I dined here last night with my friends. The food was top quality, the dishes were really tasty. The meal sizes were also generous and filling. I am definitely coming back. First meal out in a long time that I really enjoyed. Highly recommend it!

This is the fourth time we have visited Ibérico and it certainly won’t be our last as it has now become one of our favourite places to eat. Despite not living locally, it is worth the travel. From a hot summer evening sitting outside in the court yard under the fairy lights, to a relaxed paella indoors on a Sunday afternoon, you will not be disappointed. The authentic Spanish food is excellent, there is a great selection of quality wines and my husband that doesn’t drink gets to enjoy an alcohol free beer along with the best coffee options. The service is attentive and the team offer the warmest of welcome, we shall be back very soon. My only concern about writing this review is that they will be fully booked when we next want a table, however this small independent restaurant deserve to be full every night. I very much look forward to out next visit.

Best Tapas in Sheffield. We have visited Iberico on three occasions now and have been delighted with the food , service and atmosphere of the place on each visit. I think we have always visited on Friday or Saturday so pre booking was required. As would be expected the place was full up on these peak times. All the staff were great but a special mention for Oriana our waitress who was particularly good. The food was the star our starters of artisan bread & the meat and cheese mixed platter were exceptional. All the other Tapas dishes were done to a very high standard, I particularly enjoyed the Patas Bravas ( best I’ve experienced anywhere ) and the croquettes were very special. We will definitely be back.

This is the third time we have visited Ibérico and it certainly won’t be our last, the food is excellent and the service and staff are delightful. Last night everyone dined outside as the weather was exceptionally warm, under the fairy lights in the courtyard the atmosphere was lovely and we felt like we were back in Spain. Highly recommended.

One of the best restaurants that I've ever been in. Dishes are amazing, carefully prepared and thought. The ingredients are from the first quality as well as preparations. The owner, Daniel, is always kind and open to receive comments and congrats. The best of Spain in Sheffield

An excellent meal. The octopus was delicious, as was the pork and mushroom dish. Quite pricey but worth it. The service was excellent too. It would good to see more seafood on the menu. We will be back though.

The food and drink here is exceptional and authentic (am Spanish) - one of the best tapas I have been to. You get a good a mix of cuisine from around the country (not just the South) with a changing specials menu. We've visited 4 times over the past year and everything we have tried was made there (even the deserts). The staff are amazing, especially the servers! Only reason I give it 4 stars is because it is very expensive! To the owner - no seas tan tacaño tio.

Went with Spanish partner. Her opinion is that this is the best Tapas she has had outside Seville or a top tier restaurant in BCN. We had bravas, anchiovie, sardines, meatballs and beef. All amazing. We have been a few times now and it is consistently good,the only Spanish tapas bar in England that actually tastes like Spanish tapas. The owner is always polite, professional and friendly even when they are madly busy . We are looking forward to our next visit already.

Wow! Super! Amazingly done Andalusian tapas. I physically ate everything on the plate and sucked my fingers. Made me feel I was on holiday somewhere near Granada or Malaga. Definitely worth the visit and another hidden gem in Sheffield.

Service was great although we had to wait 30 mins for our table to be free the gentleman was apologetic and provide some drinks and nibbles on the house . It was busy which was a great sign . The dishes were lovely and fresh

💕We loved our trip to Iberico! 🍽️🪑Iberico are an independent tapas restaurant in the stunning Dyson Place, serving up delicious and refined tapas dishes. They are also importers of amazing quality Spanish ingredients such as cured meats cheeses, wine and olive oil etc. 🥘The quality of the food was second to none, and our highlights included of course the delicious salty iberico ham, the tempura prawns with squid ink aioli, spiced beef stew and tuna steak and orange tacos - delicious! Our friends dishes of meatballs, and patas bravas went down equally as well. 🍷The house red wine was next level delicious and I wish I had thought to ask about bringing home a bottle. Stunning. 💕Highly recommended iberico for a date night , or meet up with friends- and order the house red! 📍Dyson square is stunning in an evening and this venue has indoor and outdoor seating. Amazing tapas, great atmosphere, knowledgeable staff and great ambience.

Another visit to Iberico this time with a colleague from work who loves all things Spanish. The vibe was fantastic and the Spanish gentleman who started singing a cappella topped off a great evening. My friend enjoyed the food and atmosphere so much he will be booking a table when his Spanish family comes over from Spain next month. Dan and his staff a really knowledgeable about the food and wine on offer and the black pig pork special and the chocolate desert were two of the finest plates I have tasted. See you soon Iberico 🤓

Went for lunch today, the place was buzzing one table free which luckily I had reserved. We had an amazing selection of tapas sardines on flat bread, hake in pimento sauce, mushroom and truffle croquettes and pork. All absolutely delicious with their rose wine. I can highly recommend the staff are so attentive.

Beautiful tapas, great wine and sangria, friendly and quick service on a Friday night. I especially enjoyed the tuna tacos! I am coeliac and it was great for me - they took care to find out about my dietary needs, had an accurate and clearly labelled menu, and ensured there was no cross-contamination in the kitchen. A perfect evening out ✨

Good atmosphere, great food (although not cheap but it was VERY nice 🤩), it’s in a lovely little square with a pub and a couple of other restaurants but is nicely away from the hustle and bustle of Eccleshall Road only a few blocks away. Music wasn’t to our taste but it was played at an acceptable volume for the ambience of the place. Friendly staff. We’ll go back and definitely recommend.

Christmas Get Together in Spain (or was it Sheffield) I love the Sharrow Vale area of Sheffield. I call it Sheffield’s Notting Hill. The food scene has exploded with the opening of the restaurants in Dyson Place and Iberico is up there with the others. A Christmas get together for friends from Dronfield Rugby Club and we booked for the Saturday evening before Christmas. As you would expect it was busy but a fabulous bustling atmosphere. The menu is extensive and we decided to ask the owner to treat us to a selection of tapas dishes, taking into account of the fact that a couple of the group did not like cheese. (Strange I know) Dan ( I think that’s his name) was brilliant and the selection was amazing. The staff cannot do enough for you and we had a brilliant night. We could have been last to leave and we’re certainly not rushed. I cannot believe there are only 12 TripAdvisor reviews for Iberico and this place really deserves more. We visited IberiCo on a Friday evening on the recommendation of a friend who lives in Sheffield. We reserved a table on the Friday afternoon, which was slightly worrying (we expected it to be fully booked!). However on arrival we found the restaurant to be fairly busy and during the course of the evening it was full.

The menu and specials were varied, and we chose a mixture from each; the patron - Dan - was helpful and clearly passionate about Iberico. As a lover of Spanish foods, I have enjoyed many restaurants in Spain, but this is the first in the UK that felt like an outpost of Spain - I just wish it was nearer.

Excellent food and service. From the 1st to the last every dish was top notch, All cooked to order in immaculately clean kitchens just over the counter. Very polite and friendly staff. A great atmosphere, we went on a chilly autumn evening but looks like it would be a great spot outside in warmer weather. Highly recommended.

Lovely outside terrace on a very warm evening. The staff are very congenial and although the service was somewhat patchy on a busy Friday evening, the wine and tapas were delicious. £70 for 2 bottles of excellent wine, olives, fried almonds and padron peppers.

It was our first time at Iberico, it is situated in a vibrant square together with other eateries. Having lived in Spain for 17 years and eating much tapas, I would say the alioli needed more garlic and the patatas bravas were not as spicy as they should be. Overall we had a lovely time and will return. Would recommend visiting.

A lovely restaurant, friendly and attentive staff but way too much salt in every dish. Several hours later I was still very thirsty and the only lingering flavour was that of salt. Such a shame as the good was excellent in all other respects

Outstanding. Group of 6 and we ordered more or less one of everything on the menu 🤣. Absolutely stunning flavours and great cocktails as well. One slight hiccup with one of the dishes but they realised without us having to mention it and removed it from the bill. We weren't going to remove the cost as everything else was amazing but they insisted. Highly recommend.

I have to say I have expected this place to be good but they have just exceeded all that. Incredible food. Great service. This place is on my I must go back to list. I would give 6 stars if I could.

Food was lovely and tasty atmosphere great and relaxed

We were really disappointed with our experience at IberiCo this evening. This wasn't down to the food, which was very nice (not the best tapas we've had, but still enjoyable), but because of the rude staff and customers they knew who were sat behind us. Throughout our meal we could hear the two men behind us commenting on us and our orders in Spanish and laughing about us. The waitress serving us even joined in with them and was being rude. What none of them realised was that, despite being two Brits, we could understand Spanish and understood what they were saying. Another waitress eventually clocked this by my facial expressions and came to apologise but we felt that it was too little, too late. We very much enjoy Spanish food and had high hopes for our evening meal, but after the behaviour of the staff and their friends we will never come back again.

Ordered via uber eats as had a 50% off code. The food is very good and probably worth a five, however I've given it quite a modest score as the portion sizes are tiny and even at half price, they are not value for money.

Fabulous. The best tapas I've had outside Spain - everything we ate here was excellent - everything. And we ate a lot. Excellent sherry too. The barista here invented a hot chocolate and red wine drink that is amazingly good. I was hesitant about it but I was wrong. Everything I have eaten here I would unhesitatingly order again. Also, nice surroundings, not too noisy and personable service. If you haven't been - i recommend that you go.

Drinks and food are too expensive quality it's ok but not worth it. I wouldn't recommend if you are feeling really hungry as you will leave with empty stomach as portions are too small.

We were so pleased when IberiCo moved into a larger venue and they are a great addition to Dyson Place. The food is fresh and incredibly tasty and you could easy spend hours here eating tapas and drinking from their large selection of wines and beers. They also hold jazz evenings which we're hoping to attend soon. Great restaurant and we can't wait to return.

First time we went and not really impress have to say: portions are tiny compared to what u will get in Spain and price is well overpriced for what u get. Food was tasty but we all left hungry. Wish them all the best but won't be coming again

Fabulous modern bar and kitchen offering authentic Spanish tapas ,wines and sherry. Lovely friendly Spanish speaking staff. Delicious,well prepared and presented food.

Everything was great- tapas, platter and sangria. I was really impressed by the mushrooms with goat's cheese and the spinach and jamon croquets. The prices are normal for the quality of the food. Also, the yard is very beautiful, especially on a sunny day. I would strongly recommend.

Called in as had seen some nice pictures on social. Place seemed nice. Service wasn’t amazing. And we were charged £15.00 for a sharing plate of cheese and meat. (Bread charged additionally - small basket £2:50) Coffee was good but everything else was below average, wouldn’t recommend.

Fantastic place. Wonderful and authentic Spanish food. I totally recommended it both to eat in, takeaway or as a deli. Staff and owner are really lovely too.

Coffee was fantastic. Gloriously smooth creamy lovely textured goodness. Has a little kick to it, not too overwhelming but enough to keep eyes wide open.

Amazing, staff super friendly from South of Spain and very good food at a reasonable price, don't expect to find same prices that you would find in Spain ( common sense)....

So good! I bought the jamón iberico, lomo iberico and salcichon, as well as two cheeses and bread. It was all great, the jamón iberico in particular has so much flavour. I will definitely be back.
