Hyderabad Wala in Redbridge

We had ordered the noodles for the kids and spoke with the restaurant to not put any spice but the noodles had number of green chillies. While the kids somehow managed to eat it, we were disappointed as we specifically spoke to them about this and even then the noodles was spicy! Overall the fish biryani was outstanding in taste but the kids noodles wasn’t as expected.

Best Hyderabadi Biryani, Haleem, fish etc. Staffs are always helpful. So is the owner/manager. The chefs and the staffs are always welcoming. Food is the best. I have had takeaways on so many occasions, late night, just to finish the day on a good note. Thanks to the owner who took my order this evening. I am actually eating the takeaway now and took few minutes to post this review. Happy tummy.

We took half grilled chicken and hyderabad egg curry. Last time when we visited restaurant it tastes good but now it’s so bad to eat. The grilled chicken tastes like boiled chicken and egg curry is not good at all.

The meal was excellent. Venu, our server, demonstrated exceptional friendliness and helpfulness, which I greatly appreciated.

We ordered hot n sour soup , chicken seekh kebab , dal , roti and Hyderabad biryani. Soul - good Chicken seekh kebab - was smelling like it was refrigerated old chicken meat or something. Dal - good Roti - good Biryani - looked bad (rice was not fresh quality , maybe again just microwaved) but tasted good

Service was extremely slow and haphazard. Tables were not clean ,and I did spot a fly somewhere buzzing around,but with all that being said,the food was tasty. Don't dine in,just takeaway.

Hey folks, We ordered veg Manchurian and it’s damn good, it’s the best place for Indians with Indian music. And in biryani catalogue, must go for special chicken biryani.

Hyderabad wala was first class. We were served by Venu. He provided advice on the menu. He was incredibly efficient and helpful 😁. He was very knowledgeable and kind. The food was out of this world. Cooked to perfection. Each dish was wholesome in its own flavours. A place to be fined at for sure 😺

Wow! I am lost for words. Venu was an absolute delight. He waited on us hand and foot, giving us advice on the quantity, level of spice and different dishes. Very helpful and efficient, thank you Venu! The food was absolutely divine! The paneer biryani was delicious, the Lamb Railway Curry was a particular highlight! The onion pakora was crunchy and really lovely, like nothing Ive tried before!! the mango lassi was great. Would definitely recommend all to come to Hyderabad Wala. Wide range of options, Vegetarian, Meat and halal. The aesthetic with cutlery and lighting also created an ambient and tranquil atmosphere.

First visit & what can I say - the food was absolutely out of this world & the service by Venu was first class. I recommend Hyderabad Wala to everyone who loves delicious food & the customer service is excellent. Venu was at our service from start to finish - a very lovely delightful young man. The staff that greeted us was nice but there was loads of ants in this restaurant. We tried moving to another table but there was ants on that table too. We looked around and saw there was another family there so we decided we will go just incase that family is ok with the ants. The staff that greeted us took the paper menu that they have on the table and took it to the back but that was just done on 1 table and not the other tables that had ants on

Really good selection of dishes which are bursting with flavour at a very cheap price. Ordered Gobi 65, lamb chops, Hakka noodles, butter chicken and jeera rice. The naans however aren't exceptional. Definitely worth a visit, I will be repeating.

I had chicken dum biryani and hot and sour chicken soup at the Ilford branch. The food was very tasty and the service was excellent and very friendly. Recommend visiting the restaurant and trying the food.

We went for lunch. It was a really nice experience and the decor is warm and inviting. The food was really good, fresh flavourful and spicy. The Irani chai was the best in the evening! It's also the perfect quantity and only costs £1. The desserts were amazing our favourite was the Kaddu ki kheer. The staff was super helpful regarding allergens and any questions the menu has a lot of interesting dishes will definitely go back.

Ordered hyderabadi dum biryani but taste was not good. They are just name sake Hyderabad wala. All andhra peoples are chef. I wont be visiting next time when it comes to hyderabdi biryani. Very dissappointed

After a long time again I have visited and had same bad experience, personally explained everything and got the same quality, see the attached photo. And as usual no one picking the call. After saying 10 time I go jumbo chicken dum biryani with no leg pieces. Not just this there was no dressing of onions/ coriander. See the proof in images I have attached, have tried calling you no answer

Came here with my family after reading reviews stating it is good and authentic. However, from the get go of arriving it took ages to be sat down. No warm welcome but very robotic. Starters was ordered: lamb chops x 3 portions - undercooked and still raw Chicken tikka - raw and cold and tasteless Drinks - lemonade tasted like Dioralyte. Requested it to be changed but little good did the change do. Sent it back. Mango lassi - tasted bitter Mains - lamb biryani was over powered with cardamom hardly tasted the rice in the lamb. The lamb itself was rubbery and undercooked. Chicken biryani - overpowered with spices and chicken was raw! Who left all these so called 5* reviews? For an Indian restaurant this is by far the worst experience. Avoid at all costs people unless you want a sore backside the next day. Total bill was almost £100 for absolute garbage food.

I had a lamb dum biryani which was not tasty and oily. No raitha .They have buttermilk and some gravy to have with the biryani which was not tasty at all. I ordered pappadom and on the menu it mentions pappadom comes with mango chutney and another chutney which they didn't bring.Whem asked about this the waiter gave some chutney. Overall a bad experience

probably the worst experience i had in london dining Food came quickly, but the quality was an extreme let down most food was undercooked, it felt as if i was being fed microwaved items the waiter couldnt even differentiate between the chicken tikka masala and the butter chicken, not to mention she was spilling it on the side Food was extremely bland, lacked flavour and texture and overall dissatisfied with the quality

Visited many biryani places in this location and around London. But by far this is the only place that serves this authentic dum style. It brings back the exact nostalgic feeling of back home. Also the extra point is the Irani tea, which makes it a complete Hyderabadi place true to its name.

Try any of their biriyani’s. All worth it but stay away from veg manchuria. The quantity for £7 is RIDICULOUS. 🙏

I recently ordered prawns biryani and gajar ka halwa. The biryani was excellent, very well-prepared with just the right amount of spice, leaving me completely satisfied. However, the gajar ka halwa was a disappointment. It was dry and didn't taste fresh at all. The excessive use of food coloring was also noticeable, which detracted from the overall experience. While the biryani was a hit, the dessert unfortunately fell short of expectations

Poor service.stinky tap water. Dirty glasses. Food was so bed I got tummy ache and dirriahea. Food was not tasty at all. No baby changing facility. We try haydrabadi briyani. But its just like road side food. tangri kabab was no test totally 4/10 .

Hi, I recently went to Ilford branch to buy biryani for takeaway. It was clearly advertised on the window and menu it's £7.99. I trusted them I did contactless payment. Later when I checked my account I have been charged £9.99. when I enquired about the charges they gave me vague answers. I am really disappointed with the customer service staff.

We ordered jumbo chicken biryani from here, but the quantity size was so less with no boiled eggs. Very disappointing, as we have tried from this restaurant before where we used to collect it ourself and never had this issue.

very small portions compared to other restaurants with better taste and price and not really authentic taste but was quite expensive, meat was quite hard in mutton biryani and murgh curry was nothing special than normal curry
