Perfectly fine. Fish and chips a bit greasy for what i like but probably best you’ll get in town if wanting proper chippy chips. Atmosphere quite nice as seemed to be lots if regulars who knew the staff so felt friendly but hit less chatty with “outsiders”. Nice enough experience would use again - pizzas smelt and looked really Good and garlic mayonnaise sauce was nice.

Decent food, reasonable price, good enough staff.

Not one to complain but this had to be said… waited 2 hrs on x2 cheeseburger suppers not only did they stink of cigarette smoke they also arrived raw.. not just a little bit the burger was completely raw… chips where soggy dripping with grease and so was the onion rings. Never been so disappointed in a takeaway before. And as i said I am not one to complain but what if a child got this? Would be a different story. Phoned to try resolve the issue asking for a refund which I wouldn’t normally do but in this case I think I was well with in my right to do so. I was told I “mite” get the refund for one of the burgers. (Haven’t received any refund so I’m guessing I’m not getting one😂) disappointed to say the lease.

This is our regular fav fish and chips shop. If it's closed try Markos it's the same family. If both are shut ( happens when they are closed for well earned holidays ) then you going to struggle to find another good chippy in Hawick.

I moved here a few weeks ago from Newcastle upon Tyne Permanently to Hawick to Give Birth & Raise my Baby Here in this Beautiful Place. Being so Heavily Pregnant FOOD is a HUGE Deal for me as I have Cravings for Certain Things....This Shop is the BEST FOOD I've ever eaten including back in Newcastle. I Literally order 2-3 Times a Week & When I'm Craving Something I Literally only need to Ring them & They'll Make me Whatever Pizza I'm Wanting Even Ones that Aren't on the Menu ! I've Never Experienced such Brilliant Service, Staff are Legendary, Delivery is SO FAST, Last Night I Tried the Lasagna with Extra Cheese & it was that Nice I'm Sat Here Waiting on the shop Opening at 4pm so I can order Another ! 🙂ThankYou SO Much for not only feeding ME but for also Feeding my Baby with such BEAUTIFUL food !

A very busy takeaway offering all types of foods,kebabs,pizza,fish suppers and much more. we had fish supper very nice fish and chips reasonable prices. lots of people queing to go in .parking on a one way street near by.

Terrible fish supper. Tasteless fish, tasteless better, not at all crispy and greasy chips. Waste of money. Won't be back.

Terrible………fish ,chips & mushy peas last night were the worse I’ve ever had.There must be somewhere better in Hawick

The fish was rather anorexic, 1 millimetre of batter as well. Also don't want a bag, so why charge for it?

Ordered a delivery which was 1hr 40mins later phoned the shop to fined out if it had left the shop and the woman who I spoke to was very rude and I heard her say its not my fault the delivery is late and came back on the phone and said its out for delivery I will never use them again wost place don't use them won't staff should be sacked

Waste of money didn’t get what ordered chips not nice and really greasy will not be back save your money and go elsewhere

The Haggis & chips are our favourite...always buy these whenever we fancy a chippy tea.. wouldn't use any other chip shop in Hawick....

We both had a chicken kebab it was completely tasteless. The “salad” was limp and the mayonnaise tasted watered down. Neither of us finished it. This used to be our “go to” takeaway but it has went dramatically downhill over the past year or so. We won’t be back.

The best black pudding supper I've had in years, freshly made, amazing chips and beautifully flavoured black pudding. Good value for money and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Should have 0 stars Disgusting food Disgusting staff and had to £8.80 to have the privilege of getting it to Ordered sausage and chips she wrapped them up, then I said I want a curry sauce and chips, Curry out of fridge, in microwave 2mins Went outside to car, curry sauce cold Went back in She put the chips and curry sauce back in microwave, the jumbo sausage was warm certainly not hot, they certainly don't do the the temperature checks on there food, I never ordered a fish, as lots of them there, Lots of Sausages lots of everything, not fresh cooked, looking under cooked, and looked like they been there ages, bet they all been there, since opening time, so never had one, Never even apologised!

this place is nasty. food was cold and stail like it has been left sat for hours. Donner bread was as hard as cardboard. proper joke for a food place

Decent chippy with plenty on offer including fresh made pizza. 2022 - So busy 2nite there was a long wait BUT i think the fish was all cooked at beginning of the shift - my fish had sat for ages & was SO dry and chewy. Not what I expected!

Worst chippy i have ever experienced!!!!! Chips barely cooked Fish was fried again because it had been sat in counter that long Rude man to top it off !!!!

So sad this place has gone down hill 2 hours for a delivery, food stone cold, not even an apology from the delivery driver for the long delivery or cold food. Safe to say won't be back here

Great food, but they lose a star because they're REALLY highly priced. I suppose that's the consequence of being the only good chippy in town.

Ordered chippy last night with garlic mayo and it was forgotten ordered again tonight and hubby phoned to say about garlic sauce and once again forgot 2 nights on trot,and that's with a phone call aswell 🤔

Don't know what happened. Ordered the usual but not anywhere near the usual 5 stars. Mostly dry which was unusual and the pizzas well skimpy on the cheese this time not the usual high quality. Will be watching if we ever have another Sunday order.

Ordered on just eat. 30 minutes late after hour and a half wait. Overcooked pakoras and 1/2 was overcooked and dry. Worst chippy in ages not be back

Ordered tonight , the food was tasty but cold . The woman on the phone said it couldnt be cold as she delivered it even though it was a young man who delivered it the first time. She hung up on me but 20 minutes later the delivery guy turned up with another young guy. They offered me a refund but explained after a 10 hour shift i just wanted the food i had ordered . The other guy became aggitated and made what seemed to be a threat ...... i told him i didnt want a refund just hot food , he progressed to leave my refund on the doorstep ...... its not about the money !!!!!

Don't bother ordering if you want for your tea cause it take 2 hours to come absolute joke

The food is ok but there is alot of issues. If you order on the just eat app it takes anywhere between 45 minutes to 2 hours to be delivered. The portion sizes are smaller than any other chip shop. The only positive i can say is the chips are the best in hawick
