Hot Flames in Neath Port Talbot

Got my order wrong, then blamed me despite the fact I’ve ordered the same pizza for the last 8 months every week. Will now go elsewhere as they were not interested in rectifying my order. They just saw this weeks money. Never again.

I have been using these guys for almost a year for the odd pizza order. Always an okay pizza, had a bad tummy a couple of times and ordered fried chicken off them once - it was so bad I stuck to ordering pizza. But yesterday it went too far. Made an order of 1 veggie pizza and 1 tandoori, both stuffed crust - order cost £33. Subbed tomatoes on the veggie one for olives. And hour later the pizzas arrived - both were veggie pizzas. I called to obviously reorder and found myself having to literally argue the toss with them like I was lying. Well eventually they sent someone with what I actually ordered - over an hour later - 2 and a half hours after I'd originally placed the order - and took the veggie pizza they sent. I found that shocking in itself. They only take cash in store which is questionable but between this, the chicken and couple of times I've had a bad tummy I'll never order again. I decided to post this today so anyone in the area is aware that they're a bit dodgy, you might get ill and they've go no customer loyalty and poor customer service. Everything I've said here is my experience with them and not my opinion. Good luck if your ordering from them.

Never will we order from this place again!! They messed up our order and sent the wrong pizza, accused us of lying on the phone, after over an hour they sent another pizza (the correct one which we ordered in the first place) they then proceeded to ask us for the half eaten pizza (that they wrongly sent) BACK! Are they not embarrassed?! Never ever again! Like seriously, hot flames, pathetic establishment they should be ashamed! Will be telling everyone I know not to order from this joke. We have spent lots of money ordering from here but that ends today after our experience with them, they are that tight they demand back a half eaten pizza. Clearly have no standards, dread to think what happens behind closed doors. Cash only as well, DODGEY! Not even an apology off them!

Phoned for a delivery last night, whoever was answering the phone was very rude, no patience and abrupt, I ended up cancelling my order! Hot flames, you need to employ better staff because they will ruin your reputation

You won’t find better food than this place in this area. We finished Four Waterfalls hike and went there for food. Customer service was excellent and they even gave us a small pizza for kids and the guy ( with a big smile on his face) said it’s on the house. How nice! Thank you guys

Absolutely diabolical! Waited 2 hours for pizza & chips. Delivery driver said he left 30 minutes ago & the customer service spoke to me badly until my other half called them & then they were polite to him when he asked where our takeaway was. AVOID!

We stayed at waterfall country pods and they had no problem delivering there!. Driver was lovely! And the meat feast pizza was one of the best I've had in a while full of toppings!.

Terrible. Quality and value has gone right out the window. Will not be ordering from here again.

Nice enough kebab house! Chicken strips were tasty, burger was good (although they forgot the cheese), decent mixed doner. Lost a star for charging delivery and 'service charge'.....the service is the food, of which is already paid for. I'd use them again but I'd check the delivery charges of other locals first.

I’m appalled with this place the food was cold and when it was taken back the staff were really rude especially Fred he just didn’t have time for us I would not recommend this place to anyone absolutely disgusted

Kebabs are great pizza was worst I have ever had tasted like it had a whole pot of salt on eat and the meat feast had hot dog sausages on it not proper ones

As good as fast food can be! Open late hours, which was lucky as we finished our Waterfall Country hike late and stopped here to pick some comforting pizza and kebabs. We were very well served, staff are helpful and generous. Just remember that it's cash only!

Food is delicious and very generous portions. Their veggie calzone is sure to beat any Italian restaurant. They have kids menu. Staff was kind and service was quick. Cash only if you order on-site.

There was a large choice menu of different meals' drinks' and dessert. We had pizza It was beautiful The garlic n herb sauce that came with it was stunning and plentiful. Order from hot flames quite regularly due to the high standard of food. Oh two occasions we have experienced rude staff members! 1St bad experience ) ordered for pick up and asked for no cheese with garlic bread pizza. . . Collected order and cheese on garlic bread pizza! EVENTUALLY order rectified after speaking to 3 different staff members and Rudely spoken to. . 2nd bad experience ) asked to place a order for delivery, spoke to staff member who didn’t have very good English and very rude stated my postcode and told we lived to far away after explaining he has misheard my postcode numerous times the staff members hung up. Called back explained I lived up the road and was hung up on again. After attempting to call back on my mobile but to have been blocked My husband phoned back on a different mobile number spoke to another staff member and order was accepted for delivery with no Issues. . 3) tonight 25/2/22 ordered food at 18:57 for delivery and advised 45-50imutes (no problem) rang back at 20:37 asking if ‘h order was going to be much longer. First I told it had just left, I then asked roughly how long it would be and advised we had not ordered. Gave our address and order number and said I had spoken that the person who I was now on the phone with and was told ‘no you haven’t ordered with me, you phone wrong number’. Had a repetitive conversation of how I had ordered, reiterated my order, Read the contact number I had rang, gave exact time and length of phone call only to be told no you are wrong and phone was cut dead. Within 3 minutes there was a knock at my door and ordered was delivered (2/3 meals correct), rang to ask them why them why they said we had not ordered when our order and just turned up and to inform them One meal was wrong by lo and behold my husbands number was blocked. So had no way of informing them that my order was actually delivered, despite them saying we had not ordered and that they had got one meal wrong. Such a shame as despite the awfully bad customer service the food is actually delicious. I would say I would order again but sadly my 2 mobile numbers are blocked !!

Thoroughly enjoyed our pizza just a shame we couldn’t wash it down with the bottle of Pepsi we ordered 😝. Will definitely be ordering again

I have no issue with the food quality or delivery time. Every meal has been hot, exactly as I ordered and tasted good. However £3 delivery charge and £1 admin charge (booked on line) is really quite expensive.

Brilliant food, tasty food and very good portions indeed. Even gave a free garlic bread on top of the original order. 10/10.

Awful service took 90 mins to deliver was stone cold , replacement then took another 110 mins sent it back as was to late no apology no refund offered . Put phone down on me when called to complain .

We've ordered off you twice never again. im highly allergic to tomatos and opted for no saled you ignored the request twice meaning that i went hungry plus both occasions food arrived cold. Golden grill are better they actually care about their customers.

Not as good as it has been . Had to use my own pizza cutter, and the filling had all slid down the pizza. They use to give you a pot of dip which i was disappointed not to have.

Just had a new menu, ordered a delivery for a pizza 8.90 + 1.50 delivery = 10.40, the delivery driver asked for 13.40! When I showed him the menu and pointed out the price I was told the minimum delivery was £11?. I asked him to show me where it said this!, he couldn't because it WASN'T THERE. This is a rip off company that obviously thinks of a price then doubles it. WON'T BE USEING AGAIN. Check the prices if your decide to use them

Ordered two pizzas to collect last night and they were great, perfect place to get pizza in a town where you can't get the normal delivery options. Can't comment on the rest of their menu but staff were quick and friendly and food was fantastic.

Work friend told me about this place so i thought i would try it out, friendly staff and very clean, i asked for a large mixed donar kebab, salad was fresh and the chilli sauce was nice, the chicken donar was ok but the lamb wasnt great, there wasnt much meat in the kebab and what meat was there was cut so thin and small it was disappointing, also it wasnt even cut fresh it was in the metal containers so thats why im guessing some bits had gone dry, ive give it 3 stars because of the staff and how clean it was there,

Food always hot and fresh and delivered promptly, my son loves the pizzas and I love the chicken burgers!

1st time ordering and wow nicest pizzas we have had in a very long time. Food was hot delivery was fast and lady who delivered was very pleasant will definitely order again.

Had food from here lastnight and its definitely a 5 star rating,food is absolutely spot on and well recommended,will be back soon fred keep up the good work lads👍

Always a warm welcome from Elif and the staff. Have been a regular and loyal customer since they opened and would never go anywhere else. I’ve always enjoyed everything I’ve had from there and even my dogs look forward to sharing my treats. Hope they enjoy many more years here feeding me lol

Ordered 1 and a half hours ago, no sign of delivery. Have phoned to see where it is to be told it's either on it's way or it hasnt even been made yet. Very disappointed! **update** 2 hours of waiting and still nothing. Phoned again to be told it still hasnt been cooked and will be another 40 minutes before it gets delivered. The attitude of the person that answered the phone was absolutely disgraceful!! If you cant keep up with the deliveries then make your customers aware of this when they place an order!!

Ordered £23 worth of food this evening to pick up however after getting home one of the meals was missing ,I rang to be told they are too busy to get the replacement meal delivered.I explained it’s a 15min each way drive for me to come back up and this would be leaving the rest of the order cold and I feel it should be put right .The lady took my number and said she would return my call however 20mins later no call back so I called back to be told she would speak with the manager and get back to me ,whilst she was on the phone I explained that one of the kebabs was not edable as it was overcooked/burned so I asked to be refunded ,yet again I was told to wait for a call back so I waited another 25mins and still no call back ,so I rang back to be told to come and collect the replacement meal and they refused a refund or replacement for the burnt kebab ...AWFUL service they take no pride in getting paying customers orders right .

This fast food outlet ioing lots of things right but needs to dot the i's and cross the t's! This takeaway has replaced the Glyn Napoli Pizza which was closed down due to a food hygiene prosecution and operates from the same premises. It is under new management. I placed my first order here through JustEat, they turned my order around very quickly and the lad who delivered should try his hand at Formula 1! Everything was nicely cooked & browned unlike the soggy pizza or boiled looking burger you expect from many fast food joints. The generous portion of fries was crispy & golden, the burger meat was seared. Issues: I ordered a Pepperoni Plus Pizza, these should be loaded with pepperoni and extra cheese, there was plenty of cheese but not a single piece of pepperoni. The cheeseburger had the merest suggestion of cheese and it wasn't possible to select salad items or sauce for the burger when ordering online. Due to the major oversight with the pizza it deserves a rating of 3½ out of 5 but I've scored up instead of down. I've scored the service and food as 'average' due to the issues detailed above. My decision to order from this establishment was informed by the optimum food hygiene rating of 5/5 (Very Good)

Got a mixed meat wrap with chilli and garlic sauce (no rabbit food/salad) for £5.50. Absolutely outstanding. Would've got 5 stars but I had to walk to collect!

Placed an order this evening of 2 kebabs. The chicken one was fresh and warm. The lamb donner was vile and completely inedible it went straight in the bin. It was stone cold, swimming in sauce it was almost like a small pond and the meat was so hard you could have used it as a weapon. How you managed to get 2 meals in the same order with such differing quality is impressive.

Excellent, meticulously clean, food is always freshly cooked and tastes fantastic. Owners and staff go out of their way to look after all customers. Highly recommend.
