I went here today to get some of their baked goods for takeaway, I could not rate this place higher, the staff were soo genuinely friendly and helpful. We got a rocky road and a cookie sandwich and they were both amazing, I wish we could have tried the scones but they were unfortunately sold out when we got there. I would 100% recommend and will definitely be back.

Upon arrival we were surprised to see a queue but it was moving fast and we were sitting at the table before we knew it! The selection and food was amazing and when we went to pay we were greeted by an amazing selection of tray bakes on display. Despite being busy, not once did we feel rushed and we really enjoyed our brunch!

Went to this cafe as it had been highly recommended to me by friends, when we arrived we had to queue so I imagined a place this popular had to be good! I ordered the big stack, it arrived about 5 minutes after ordering, the bacon was undercooked and the egg was more or less raw, with white gushing out of it. Made sense since it arrived not 5 minutes after ordering, obviously trying to get people in and out quickly. Disappointing experience!

Everything was reasonable... but lots of little things made it not great It was good to finally be able to get in without a queue (up til now I've just found somewhere else, because there's been a LONG queue), I also liked having a table in the little alcove. I had Eggs Benedict, and it all looked nice and tasted good... but one egg was a little under done, the bacon had a huge amount of unsightly barely cooked rind, and considering it was Eggs Benedict there wasn't nearly enough hollandaise sauce (and it was too thick to be called sauce) All the staff were pleasant... but nobody was bothered whether everything was well with my food - once food arrived I didn't see anyone again, nobody checked if I was happy while I ate, the girl at the till just took my money and that was it. All the cakes look nice... but all the tray bakes scream the words heart attack and obesity crisis owing to their immense size. I expect I'll try another visit at some point, though as I don't live far away I'd probably not rush back

After coming across their page on Instagram, I couldn't resist visiting this charming tea room. Upon arrival, the queue for indoor dining was overwhelming, but luckily, they offered outdoor seating which suited us just fine. We were promptly seated and excitedly placed our order. Our selections included the piri piri chicken sandwich, the coronation chicken sandwich, a portion of fries to share, pancakes with strawberries and maple syrup, and two cappuccinos—one with regular milk and one with oat milk. The sandwiches were bursting with flavor from fresh ingredients, and the pancakes were very fluffy and soft. While the coffee was enjoyable, a bolder brew would have been preferred as it felt slightly diluted. The display of tray bakes was a sight to behold, offering a tempting array of choices that had me deliberating for a good 10 minutes. In the end, I settled on the lemon meringue mini pie, lotus rocky road, and kinder blondie, all of which proved to be delightful and perfect for satisfying a sweet tooth. Staff were very friendly and attentive and the total price for everything we got came around 43 pounds. Overall, this spot is definitely worth a visit for its delectable offerings and cozy atmosphere. 💯🙌🏼

I went to HollieBerrie At The Tearooms, after seeing it online plenty of times. We were lucky enough, we had not long to wait in the queue for a table. We ordered a tea and coffee, and a couple of traybakes. When I went up to the counter to pick my traybake, you were spoiled for choice. They have a massive selection of traybakes to choose from, you could pick from scones, cakes, tarts, brownies, meringues and lots of other treats. I ended up choosing the Galaxy Chunk, which was very nice. The only thing I could nitpick would be the americano. It was a bit on the small side. I think it is the smallest americano I have ever had. Especially when you are eating a big traybake, you need that extra bit of coffee to wash it down. I enjoyed my visit to HollieBerrie and I would go back. I would recommend it to anyone to call in if they are in the area.

We recently dined at Hollie Berries, and it was a perfect experience. Despite a short wait of about 5-10 minutes due to the busy atmosphere, the wait was absolutely worth it. We started our meal with the pancake loaded with Nutella and fresh berries. The combination was heavenly, with the fluffy pancakes perfectly complemented by the rich Nutella and the topping of the berries. I had the soda stack, which included bacon, eggs, and sausages. Each element was cooked to perfection. The bacon was crispy, the egg was perfectly cooked, and the sausage was flavourful. To accompany our meal, we enjoyed a flat white and a hot chocolate. Both beverages were outstanding. The flat white was smooth and well-balanced, while the hot chocolate was rich and comforting, making for the perfect pairings with our breakfast choices. The service at Hollie Berries was commendable. Despite the busy environment, the staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring our food was served quickly and piping hot. Their efficiency and pleasant demeanor added to the overall positive experience.

So disappointed. Went here based on the dog friendly advertising. We were made to wait outside in the wind & rain until 1 of the 3 tables in the conservatory was finished with as 'dog friendly' doesn't relate to the whole place. Rest of cafe looked lovely & quirky. Conservatory is plain white and very cold if, like us, you are sat at the door. As for the food? Hmm! I ordered soup & a coronation chicken sandwich. Soup was nice but I got half a small tea cup. Sandwich was the worst I've ever had. Like vinegar, which makes no sense. My daughter had a breakfast type thing that was dry as the Sahara with a blooming raw egg on top. One sight of raw egg white and I'm done for. We were so disappointed as we'd heard such good things. £38 for 2 downright awful dishes was a bit much. If it had been tasty,I wouldn't care about cost, never have. Today, though, I totally begrudged tapping the old card.

Been here a few times now and it never disappoints. Great selection of pancakes, waffles, breakfast & lunch items that you won't get at the same quality anywhere nearby! The specials tend to change regularly so if you see something you like the look of, I recommend getting it - don't rely on it being there again next time. Also, the tray bakes and pastries are top class. They don't take bookings so you can end up queuing for a while outside, but it's well worth the wait. Quite a relaxed feel inside too, they don't rush you, which I assume is to help the kitchen not get overwhelmed. Really well managed.

Came today as a birthday treat for my son's birthday having travelled 20miles, he ordered kids pancakes with white chocolate sauce & strawberries, the sauce in the little pot was hard so couldnt pour much over his pancakes, i had the full fry - had to send it back as egg was completely burnt on the bottom, less than 30 seconds my plate was back with a new egg (wasnt much better - the underside overcooked & slimy/undercooked on top - im sorry i didnt take a photo) needless to say i didnt eat the egg, very disappointing when paying £9.95 for this meal! Not once did a member of staff check was everything ok despite walking past our table numerous times, when we were finished our food we were considering more tea & traybakes but again no staff came near us to see did we want anything else. Went to pay for food at the till & thought she'll ask me was everything ok & id have mentioned the issue about the second egg - but no! So disappointing as this was our second visit but it'll be our last!

The wait staff are professional and try to get the tables cleaned and reset as quick as they can to cope with the queues! That's the only thing and shows how good this place is. My partner got a ‘full fry’ (which was very small) and the beans were served in the tiny pot shown in the picture! Only equates to a spoonful. He said it’s the worst fry he has ever gotten. I got the raspberry French toast and it was cold, stale and bland…the French toast seemed to have been made in advance and had been sitting for a few days. The mascarpone ontop was the only bit with flavour and made the dish edible. The coffee was nice and staff were quick to take order etc. But we were never asked how our food was, otherwise I would have mentioned some of these points. Defo style over substance and I won’t be returning

Reserved a table with an assistance dog. Staff were great and welcoming. The food was absolutely cooked to perfection and any allergies were dealt with at ordering. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Very reasonably priced too. Highly recommended

My wife and I were treated to a meal here on Saturday evening by our son, daughter in law and three grandchildren. The food was faultless, excellent in my opinion. The service was also excellent and the staff were fantastic. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back. It's a credit to all the staff, well done.
