Really cool quirky little place with really fun owners who make you feel welcome and at home. Definitely worth a visit!

One of the most welcoming holes in a wall I've ever been to.

This bar is something else, it completely made my weekend trip to Liverpool. So niche, aesthetic, Bohemian & unconventional. Owner & Staff are a treat, beer selection is mighty, regular customers are a vibe & the bar itself is great. So much to look at! Highly recommend, I will definitely be back in the future! - Adam Edit: Came back again for a weekend in April, still as great as last time!

Great pub,really friendly,we had a great afternoon.

The decorations are nice and the bar has a nice atmosphere, however the owner is quite overzealous in protecting this. My friend has a distinctive laugh which unfortunately led to us being asked to leave, with the implication being the owner felt we were drunk (we weren't, she just laughs loudly...), this was quite embarassing for us as we didn't feel like we were causing a scene, inconveniencing anyone else, or behaving inappropriately for Saturday night at a bar. Just laughing. Perhaps a misunderstanding, but soured the night for us a bit to be told to leave. The owner seemed nice enough, but just didn't take to us, even though we accomodated his request to share our table with strangers. Nice venue, but suited to very quiet people to meet the owner's preferences.

Was there with a family contingent for the quiz last yr, great little boozer, had a boss time, gonna say tha tho, coz my cousin Delia and her husband, Tristan, own it !!! Will be back for the quiz and more, in april/may this year, great beers as well 👍🏻👍🏻see yers then.

Had a great time at the Wednesday night quiz, joined a team of people I didn't know and they were so friendly to me. Delia is highly hospitable, checking on individual guests all the time, making sure everyone is at home. The pub is full of conversation pieces, decorated with thousands of pieces of art. Even the drinking glasses have stories! I particularly enjoyed Liverpool spiced rum. Thank you so much, I will be back! :)

Bloody lovely. The gent who appeared to own or, at the very least, run the show...was a delight. Wandered in off the street to a bustling bar, pre-drinks before the show for most, assumed we'd stand as it was busy... but, the chap in charge had other plans and led us through to a table presently being vacated by another group. Felt like VIPs as he ushered standing clients aside to allow us to pass. What a guy! Super hosting skills and brilliant beer to boot. Cheers.

A fascinating brilliantly quirky subterranean drinking cave of dreams!! Well chosen selection of beer and drinks available. Also the best service with a smile we had ( by a northern mile!) on our night out, all credit to the two ladies behind the bar. Truly refreshing to encounter such wonderful service. We were on our way to a gig so only had time for a couple of beers, but they were the most enjoyable beers in a long time!

I loved it here! What a hidden gem this place is. The aesthetics in the bar give an almost cyberpunk/post apocalyptic fallout esque vibe. AMAZING

Visited as part of the Liverpool Walking Food Tour schedule 29 Sept '24. Well recommended and will aim to come again. Such a wacky place, with an equally wacky landlady who was so friendly. 👌

Lovely quirky bar we just stumbled upon!

Great little basement bar serving small brew beers on draught and cans. Owner/ manager is a great laugh and always friendly. Inside the pop art decor is really interesting and guaranteed to spur on a few days conversations. There's a nice little place to drink outside as well when the sun is out. Definitely recommended.

Our new favourite place in Liverpool. Such a quirky 1980s cabinet of curiosities with great local craft beer to boot. Lovely owner made us very very welcome and provided us with a self produced Liverpool map for a more unusual and off the beaten track experience. Was visiting Liverpool from London, but originally from Skem, so I’ve always had a soft spot for this city. London needs a place like this, with people like this. Wonderful atmosphere, lovely place

The owner and employees are extremely sympathetic people. Besides alcoholic beverages, there is also tea. The design of the interior is a bit interesting. There are dolls, objects made from plastic boxes, etc. There are also board games. They turn the music volume up very low. The best part is you can hear what you're talking about.

Yeah, nothing else in Liverpool will get close to how great this bar is. Get in early though. It's cosy but you'll always get popped on a table and make some new friends. Tristan is a legend

This might be the best bar I've been to in Liverpool. Excellent beers and exceptional staff.

My friends and I were walking around the neighborhood waiting for our hotel check in time. We saw Hobo Kiosk and said yes... that is where we would like to be right now. Unfortunately the bar was not yet opened, but we were committed at this point. We killed some more time and then headed back. We almost skipped going in because we would be cutting our dinner reservation close, but again... we were committed to this awesome venue, so in to Narnia we went. WOW! So happy we did because when everyone says this place is a "hidden gem" that is an understatement. Great atmosphere and decor. Cozy and whacky. Wonderful beer selection (as well as some non-alcoholic options). The owner behind the bar was welcoming and very funny. Even provided us with a "secret" and very helpful map of the area. A simply magical little must-go-to place!

Very unique hidden gem amongst the Baltic vibe, just a few mins away from the loud pub/bar vibes, greeted exceptionally well with great knowledge of drinks and drinks that you wont find anywhere else in the area, away from your standard taps. This place is decorated with the most insanely interesting random stuff that has you memorized for days. Best alt place in the area and such lovely engaging staff. 🌹

Gem of a find, full of quirky things from yesteryear and "one offs" that will bring a smile to your face - and they like "haggling" ! Check out this "halophanane-style" light that we bought for a very reasonable price and wired it up for use as a garden light. Awesome.

A hidden gem!! This place doesn’t look real, I feel like I got magically transported inside a novel everytime I am in this pub. Great atmosphere, lovely owner, local alcohol and great quizzes on Wednesday. If you are in Liverpool, do check it out ❤️

A fabulous and welcoming landlady runs this quirky little bolt hole. It's covered in cute alternative decorations and it has decent drinks for very acceptable prices. If you're ready to embrace your inner nonconformist for the evening, head here.

Such a strange place but so wonderfully charming. The bar man is off his head but such a nice man. Recommended 100% for a unique experience.

Awesome little cellar bar ran by the wonderful Delia. Curios and art pieces as far as the eye can see, a great selection of drinks, conversation and advice on the best places to go next. You can even buy some of the pieces on display, all created by local artists. Just be sure to follow the rules! Lol

Walked past this establishment many times on route to Baltic Market, how foolish was I. This place is unique, quirky and has a ambiance which is sensational. Mien host Tristian is simply outstanding, funny, warm and welcoming all in one. Love this place it's simply a must visit.

Charming small pub with an earnestly welcoming attitude. The decor and assemblage of art pieces is enough to hold the attention, but superior music, board games and programmed evenings are there if the visuals don’t provide sufficient stimulation. It is a small space, so more suited to conversations than large parties.

Good Lord, I cannot say enough good things about this place. It’s the kind of spot that makes your trip when you stumble upon it absolutely amazing experience, and it was the highlight of a four city trip over two weeks in England

Amazing little bar just 5 mins from the Baltic centre / brewery. Excellent and well thought out curation of beers, excellent non-alcohol options and some of the friendliest people you'll meet. A real gem of a place, worth a visit just to see the fun decor!
