Hinba speciality coffee in Glasgow City

Frecuente la sucursal de Oban pero esta fue la primera vez aquí. Solo delicioso café, elección de 3 tuestes, todo. excelente. Bebidas preparadas por expertos baristas con kit de calidad que se enorgullecen mucho de lo que producen. Cosa encantadora taza/taza/tazón para sentarse en bebidas. La selección de comida es bastante estándar, pero ven aquí por el café - ¡no te decepcionará!

Hermosa pequeña tienda con un flujo constante de clientes - hubiera encantado sentarse y relajarse si no fuéramos museo - hopping! El personal era sonriente, amable y dando consejos a los visitantes de la zona. Desafortunadamente teniendo algunos problemas con la máquina de café cuando llegamos, pero arreglado con una broma y una sonrisa. El café... Increíble mezcla (notas definitivas de jarabe y albaricoque según la descripción) , y espeso, cremoso y lujoso. Uno de mis cafés favoritos que he tomado lejos de mi cafetería favorita en el sur de Londres. ¡Sigan así, amigos!

No estoy seguro de dónde ha venido la pomposidad de algunas de las críticas - sí, el café es increíble, la decoración es espectacular y sobre todo, el personal es maravilloso. La máquina de café estaba funcionando fría esa mañana, así que tomó un poco de tiempo para servirnos, pero la elaboración del café no debería ser rápida. Servicio con una sonrisa y una disculpa. Si estás en la zona, acércate para una preparación rápida, no te arrepentirás.

Pasé a tomar un café de camino a la ciudad. Servicio amable, eficiente y excelente café, incluso si las tazas sin mango son bastante pequeñas. Mesas altas, mesas bajas en la parte posterior y exterior para el buen tiempo.

Southside 21-7 branch for brunch today. Lovely layout and ambience, but that’s as far as it goes. Ordered food at 12:30. It arrived at 1:06pm. Limited but nice brunch menu choice. But it stops there. Beef Waffles - stark comparison to the instagram picture of 3 beef slices. Reality was a small pile of pulled beef brisket. Kedgeree rice cake, haddock and eggs - tiny portion, tasteless rice cake, barely any haddock. Zero flavour in any aspect of this dish. £37 for two “mains” and two hot drinks. Absolutely appalling and won’t go back, ever.

First off, let’s get the solitary positive out of the way. Their coffee is likely the best in Glasgow. They use premium products and ingredients, and it shows. Unfortunately that is where the positives end. This place is let down massively by the sulky and arrogant staff, the lack of warmth takes away from an excellent coffee. Smarmy and uninviting, I have given this place so many chances as I am local, in the hope that they turn it around but unfortunately they haven’t. There are cities that you may get away with this, but Glasgow is not one of them. £8 for a coffee and a croissant is the most you are likely to pay in this city, and for that you’d at least expect staff to be attentive and pleasant. Again shame, as the coffee is awesome.

We planned to visit the Kelvingrove Museum just after 10 o’clock, but when we got to the door we found out they didn’t open until 11 am on a Friday. But the upside of this was that we enjoyed waiting in this coffee shop, which is not far from the Kelvingrove. They have a good choice of very interesting coffee, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The only downside is that they do not accept cash.
