Went to Burger King. 5 minutes after ordering at the machine my burger popped out. Staff all chatting in the back. One came round to give me my meal to find no fries. So at 6 minutes they started cooking the fries. When I asked about it they were rude and said they’d been working hard since 7 am. As if that was an excuse for awful service and poor planning.

Absolutely disgusting . Not only is this place in need of an updo - it’s just dirty. The toilets were filthy - many of them without toilet roll. There is no excuse with the guaranteed footfall and the prices charged by the outlets!! Need to reinvest. The bridge across the motorway is very tired! Could not wait to get out of the place and will be driving on by in future! 👎

Even from sitting in the car park near the entrance we could tell that this place would be a mess... and so it was. The big bin outside was overflowing with rubbish (bags with left over food 🥴) fodder for the rodents no doubt! Inside wasn't much better, the whole place lacked any form of welcome, the loos were disgusting and in some of the ladies cubicles it appeared like some hadn't even bothered to sit down on the toilet seat, perhaps instead they stood ON the toilet as there was urine all over the seats and the floor It shouldn't be too difficult to get proper cleaning staff.. but then again..it probably is a nightmare to get proper & conscientious people. Who would possibly want to work in such an awful environment It's in dire need of a complete refurb - either that or close up all together.. IF we are ever near here again, we won't bother to stop

Needs rebuilding or a complete refurbishment. Power failure when I arrived going north. Had to cross over footbridge. This country is going to the dogs. Saving grace was a nice lady serving at WH Smith’s

This place needs knocking down. Some aspects are out of your control but at least spend 20 minutes picking up the litter everyday. They've given up.

Disgusting service station! Untidy, and by its sell by date. Most staff have a major language barrier and most are very unhelpful and unpleasant. Stay clear and go without. Overpriced and not well maintained.

Over priced rubbish avoid stopping here. a burger king meal of double bacon cheeseburger chips etc £11.48 HOW MUCH ? just ridiculous

It’s like they ran a competition for every inmate to win parole if they could successfully design the worst imaginable service station. It’s really quite something. Tip: take a bottle in the car, go thirsty, don’t get out of the car.

Stopped for a statutory break at 2am in need of a coffee. Costa could not serve me and Costa machines in WH Smith not working. Diabolical bearing in mind that HGV Drivers have to stop and often need a hot drink and snack. Horrible, depressing, dirty place needs knocking down and rebuilding.

Went in for a quick loo stop and a bit of food it was 530 pm on a Sunday Used kfc was served by a woman who seemed to be the only one doing anything . Other staff just standing around whilst all tables amd floor was so so dirty. Wasn't a table we could use we went over near greggs and it was the same there. Are the individual shops responsible for cleaning their own floors and tables or are they done by general services staff ?? Who knows , not even the staff it seems. Happy for customers to sit surrounded by dirt and food on floors amd tables that looked like it had been accumulating half a day at least. Bins all overflowing no one looking after any of it- awful, avoid at all costs toilets ok that's it.

Suggest you give this service station a miss:very aged infrastructure which must make it impossible to look clean, no matter how much cleaning staff have tried. Smells faintly of bleach. Very grotty. Put us off eating there. Bafflingly, Costa managed to make the coffee taste awful - you’d have thought it would be consistent across all branches? EV charging excellent. Moto desperately needs to invest in this facility.

I'm not normally moved to write reviews of cups of tea, but ... Costa Coffee managed to produce the worst tea I've ever tasted in my whole life (and I'm getting on a bit). Hard to describe just how awful the tea was at the Costa Coffee at Hilton Park services Northbound on Friday . Absolutely horrible. Undrinkable. That taste you get when your hot water heater is saturated with cleaning chemicals. Avoid at all costs.

Awful place - extremely dirty in all areas we used , Costa coffee machine was absolutely filthy, trays the staff were using and jugs dirty. High chairs, well we had to clean our own, stack of about 10 chairs in Costa and not a one clean enough to use until we cleaned one ourselves. Greggs again we had to clean our own table. Floor was filthy. Would never stop here again and would not recommend. Move to the next service station as I’m sure it couldn’t be any worse.

I used the ladies room Loo seats necessitated touching them to use them i tried 6 pumps. no soap broken taps with no hot water im not surprised we have pandemics in this country I have used cleaner facilities in the 3rd world. truly disgusting

What a terrible place. Eventually decided on Greggs. Ignorant rude staff. Bakes lukewarm coffee not much better. Carry on to the next services

Thought we’d stop for a drink and something to eat, having travelled from France and wanted a break in our journey. Despite website saying they are open 24hours, the only thing open at 10pm were the toilets and the gambling machines. Government warnings to ‘take a break’ when travelling long distances obviously don’t count at this services. Nothing going for it - avoid at all costs!

Burger King at this services is very slow ,so don't stop if your in a hurry. Also the rubbish from the empty bins is very close to the tables

Adam - the staff member at Costa was incredibly kind and helpful. I was there with my 6 year old daughter and 11 year old niece today. He was chatty and friendly and made the experience an enjoyable one. Then my daughter spilled my coffee, narrowly avoiding getting burned. He came to clean it up and reassured her that it is was OK. He replaced my coffee and kindly helped my daughter to choose a cake. She loved the experience and it was just what we needed after travelling all day.

Stopped off here northbound to find 3 toilet doors without locks, one cubicle had no seat and the cubicle I did manage to find had poo on the inside of the door.💩💩 The toilets clearly hadn’t been cleaned since last Christmas There were holes in the walls for the likes of the Gary Glitter crew to stare through and the place overall stank like the inside of a recently deceased overweight ladies minge. 🍤🐟 I strongly advise bringing your children here, get them to wee in the car park or something. To top it off all the hand sanitizers inside the building were empty because I felt I needed to be deep cleaned after the awful toilet experience and also when I went to WHSmith to use the Costa machine, I paid £3.75 for a large cup to only be filled 70% and could’ve easily filled a medium cup with plenty of room to spare. The cashier said “Yeah mate happens all the time people always complaining….” Then do something about it you incompetent diseased camels fecal matter 🐫 Never again. This place is bad for your well-being. 🏥 Horrible toilet experience and robbed on the price of a coffee.

I found the northbound Hilton park services 5/04/2023 I found the buildings and reception areas totally filthy and in disrepair …all the food concessions filthy …the toilet facilities disgusting ….a place I never wish to have the misfortune to visit again visit ever again

Stopped of here en route North and frankly if it wasn't that we were famished, we should have kept going. Tables filthy, not cleared, some looking as if they had been like that for weeks - this place has certainly not seen a visit from the health inspectors otherwise I would have been closed down. Not helped by the fact that the building looks like it was built in the 60's (1860's) and had no maintenance worth talking about since. I am surprised that the big brands located inside are willing to have their reputation tarnished by way the Service Area are portraying them. But I guess money talks! Last visit to this one until there is a radical change of operator or their philosophy.

Driving back down the M6, quick stop off at Hilton Park Services near Wolverhampton to use the toilet and grab a takeaway coffee from Costa. All clean and tidy. Quick in and out with lots of free parking. Only issue was the steep prices Costa are not charging for a large coffee = over £5!

Very old dated building with a horrible car park and the average age of inside staff was 15. Burger King being the worst of all.

Visited here for drinks. Gregg’s staff was very helpful. Seating area was disgusting. Tables unclean, floor not swept and over flowing bins. Where’s the health and safety here!

Stopped off at Hilton Park Services for a Quick Splash & Dash on the M6 heading North. Cleanish toilets, free parking and they sell coffee - what more do you need of a motorway services?

Driving down the M6, stopped at Hilton Park Services for a toilet stop and a coffee - did the job. Nice and quiet during these Covid times - one way system in operation.

I visited greggs on Hilton park south around 3:30 pm on the 17/12/20, the staff Ashley and Chloe where very friendly and very helpful, they cooked me a fresh bake as the one on the counter was cold, very pleased with my experience. It was very tidy and clean and the procedures for COVID 19 where very clear.

When they opened after the lockdown, they made a real effort to keep things clean. Sadly standards have lapsed, and the tables are frequently covered with crumbs and spilt drinks.

The Zombie Apocalypse has started. It’s started in Hilton Park. Marvel as the undead stagger across the car park and into the dimly and flickeringly lit concourse. Gag at the stench of the rotting corpses as you pass the WCs in the northbound section, dodge the living dead as they flail about on the bridge. The end is near. Run!

I called out at Hilton park services Northbound today. I felt the Covid-19 directions were clear, through he entrance, and into the toilet area. Everywhere looked clean and a person was walkimng around cleaning

We stopped here for lunch while heading south. The car park was very busy but inside the centre was well organised and not as crowded as expected from the car park. Masks are compulsory and that’s enforced at the door where they will sell you a mask for a donation if you don’t have one. The Greggs outlet had a very small selection of food left so we walked across the footbridge to the M&S which was well-stocked. Prices were as expected from a service station. We had no problem in finding a seat outside to eat our lunch.

Was in queue to order, and spoken to poorly by checkout server at 1605 on Friday 3rd July. She told us off About standing on a 2M marker. The people who were in front were together and they were told to separate. It was like the powers gone to her head. The government have lowered this to 1m plus. Plus it’s advisory, they’ve done there bit by doing it, but to speak like I’d broken the law just isn’t on. Even tho I was on a market. It was only because she split 2 guys up that clearly had travelled in the same vehicle making them come back towards me. Awful experience placed food back on shelf and left. I wouldn’t mind if spoken to nicely, and not condescendingly.

This evening, 27/05/2020 my disabled son and I visited the petrol station at Hilton Park Services. Whilst there my son needed use the disabled toilets (these are also the ladies toilets) Due to my son's disability I go with him into the toilet and it takes much longer than the average time. Whilst we were in the toilet we were horrified to hear someone banging loudly at the door and demanding that we came out. My son was, and still is very shaken and upset by the aggression of the person. Strangely, when we came out there was no one there!! This behaviour towards a disabled person is totally unacceptable and I am extremely angry about it! Please could people realise that disabled people need extra time and a little patience would not go amiss!!

Things got off to a poor start when two of the four order screen's were displaying out of paper.... The food arrived quickly but the bun was swimming in some sort of oil & grease on the outside, which is quite a difficult trick to pull off you would imagine. ....The whole eating environment was dirty, with discarded food on the unswept floor adding to the depressing experience. And before you ask it was not busy.... The staff proudly display a row of awards behind the counter but I felt like taking at one least one away....and yes its over priced (as are all these captive places) .

Being diabetic i needed a drink and I had stopped at hilton services think fast service I ordered a milkshake and waited over 45 minutes for my drink I couldnt wait but I didit was runny the girl slapped it on the table it was vile supposed to be oreo it ended up in the bin thanks Burger king for nothing but a hypo DO NOT STOP AT BURGERKING JERE I warn you

Josie Stevens at the Travel Lodge went out of her way to be helpful and expedite some business documents. She could not have been more pleasant, polite and efficient.

Just visited these services south bound on the M6 and we won’t stop here again. The toilets, eating area and high chairs were filthy. The ladies toilets were also closed so you had to walk 5 mins over the bridge - not great with a toddler who needs a wee!

I like Burger King but the Whopper with cheese I had in Hilton Park services was one of the worst. Service was slow and the burger was cold. I also noticed that it was prepared by someone with bare hands rather than with gloves for hygiene as I would expect.

Thing that really annoyed me was that I had to walk over the M6 to the north bound service area to be able to use the loo.This is not acceptable in 2019.It has an air of defeated grubbiness about it and is in desperate need of a revamp.

Hungry from the drive down from Penrith, my eyes see the two vegan sausage rolls sitting there. I hobbled over from sitting down too long. The faux sausage rolls were staring right at me. Great timing. Two left and I wanted them both. The chap behind the counter first bagged them up. Then he asked if I would want to wait for hot ones, as the oven had four minutes left. Not all heroes wear capes! Great customer services from the young lad. With piping hot snacks, I would eat slower and not look like a ravenous beast.

travelled on the m6 southbound for a trip to see family and stopped for a coffee at our favourite place - costa. however this time was awful. used our own reusable costa mugs but was still charged £7.40 for 2 drinks. i paid with my costa points. i then realised the 25p discount for using our owm mugs hadnt been taken off so i went back. the woman said i could not have the discount as i had paid using my points. firstly that is wrong and secondly she had said the price before i has told her to use my points! on arriving at our hotel i complained online to costa and ticked the box saying i wanted a response - 21 days later and a second complaint filed and i still have not had a reply. costa sort your act out, bad for such a big company!

I’d stopped to go to the Kentucky but the bridge across the motorway was shut. I don’t use Burger King as it’s expensive. That said the prices seem to have increased a lot and here were extortionate! I had a BBQ Chrispy Chiken burger meal for £9.20! (The menu board said £9.09 but I let that slide). The price was hard to swallow but it looked good and I was hungry. Bad decision. It looked like someone threw it together an hour previous and the chicken was stringy and had that texture that makes you regret taking a bite. On the whole I can’t remember a worse meal. I won’t make the same mistake again.

Took a long time for the food to arrive, they'd run out of pies so we had fish, but when the fish did come it was hard, chewy and almost raw. How hard is it to cook fish properly? Unfriendly staff too

Toilet area had an offputting smell outside, although the facilities did look clean. The baby change room was quite good, with a private feeding area and baby change table and mats. The restaurants are all supposed to be able to warm bottles for you without quibble - I approached the Burger King and the staff member did not know what to do; however, her apparently more experienced colleague was very helpful. So, overall, yes I agree with others that the facilities need a facelift, but the baby change was better than expected.

Not one table in the whole place was clean, we had to clean one ourselves. Tables, chairs and the floors were absolutely filthy. Greggs has closed but left their tables uncleared. While we were there one of the costas closed, one member of staff cleared the tables of cups and rubbish, but no sign of a cloth, the tables were left unwiped. The stench from the toilets was overpowering even from the food areas. I will not visit this service station again.

Nothing other than Shabby. Requires alot of work to be presentable. One of the worst looking service stations I've visited. Toilets are dated and grubby, though not necessarily unhygeinic. I would not stop here again for a refresh stop.

The disabled toilets were out of service!!! No alternative was offered!! Dreadful as one of our party needed an accessible toilet!! Obviously managed by people who not understand, yet again, that disabled people are still human!!!

Watch out for the greggs assistant who will give you a regular sized hot drink in a Large sized cup and then top it up with hot water so that you end up scalding yourself when trying to drink it.

Stopped on the way north with the family. They didn't have soft drinks on draught so forced to have bottled instead. So that was a rip off if you bought a large meal. When l got everything back to the car l found l was missing a portion of chips and BBQ dips. Left me remembering why l go to McDonald's normally.

Stopped recently at the northbound side of Hilton Park Services. The site is nowhere near big enough for the amount of people using it and the car-park is small and poorly designed. The outside of the building looks dated an unappealing and the narrow entrance leads to a bottleneck of people trying to get in and out. Quite a long walk to the toilets but the main issue is the Burger King which completely misses the point of "fast food". After ordering on the touchscreens, it took about ten minutes for our food to appear - it was as if the staff hadn't anticipated that people would want food at lunchtime. The cold drink machine was out of order and thus we had to have 500ml bottles of Diet Coke served at room temperature. Will definitely avoid this one next time, particularly as the prices are the usual motorway services poor value.

First, let it be known that i am not a big fan of UK motorway services but for welfare and safety reasons, they are a necessity. Can someone explain to me why it is that it is acceptable for motorway services to fleece the public for fuel,food and drinks ? Hilton Park is operated by the inappropriately named Moto Hospitality company. I stopped on the northbound side the other day . It wasnt my choice and i was keen to drive on but i was directed by my passenger ! On entering i immediately noted the barrage of loud music over the pa. Why is this? Wherever you go you hear music blaring ! Off to the toilets and there was no escape...music blaring in the toilets ! I've just traveled 100 miles on moderately busy motorway and had to listen to noise from traffic and i want to have some tranquility.Noted the flagrant rip off prices for food eg Burger king charging over £8 for what they sell for £4 on any high street. Luckily i had my own food back in the car. Moto need to take a leaf out of Gloucester services which go a long way further to treat their customers to a decent experience.

Those of us who travel England's motorways a lot have a mental encyclopaedia of the service stations. It includes important information, like where to find the toilets, which can be useful, especially if there has been unforeseen and extended delays on the journey! It might also include a view on the restaurant facilities there: in my case it does.Inevitably one ends up with a ranking of the restaurants. For instance, for me, the relatively new Gloucester services tick all of the boxes, and is at the top. I have submitted a Trip Advisor report to that effect. Elsewhere there seems to be a race for the bottom!Visiting the tired-looking services at Hilton Park South this last week, still looking like a scene from the 1960's part of "Back to the future", only without the Chuck Berry music, I was horrified at the choice of food. Almost every item on display was packed with carbohydrates and/or sugar - it was a nutritionists worst nightmare! Enough to give a cardiologist a heart attack!I chose the Chicken Pepper Soup as the least unhealthy item available - a mush of noodle bits in a salty liquid, yours for £2.30 for 330ml, which, at £6.90/litre is 5 times the price of the petrol outside.I did visit the smelly toilets, and drank my soup in the depressingly uninspiring area where the uncomfortable seats are located, optimistically described as the restaurant area, but to be honest, I was glad to be back in my car and navigating through the illogically laid out car parking area heading towards another wait in queuing traffic.Congratulations to whoever operates this dump, you just won the prize for the worst motorway experience in Britain.

Unfortunately the last time Hilton Park services had any money spent on it was a little after Moses was found in his basket. It’s now a tired looking average services which is just about good enough for taking a dump in the toilet and grabbing a coffee. Plenty better places 15 miles up the motorway.

Called in for a pit stop going south and, as it was a sunny day, looked for the designated picnic area. It was dreadful! Broken tables & benches and litter everywhere! Toilet facilities were adequate but were in need of a reburbishment. I will avoid in the future.

Dropped off, enroute north from our visits in Devon and although the place was obviously closing down we were still able to get a hot meal at 9pm on a Saturday night. It was well cooked and prepared well. Staff were very good also and polite which is refreshing

Sopped off for a quick break on the way north. Good clean toilets and plenty of seating. Variety of eating choices and retail outlets.

Got to be amongst the worse service areas we have stopped at, poor choice of food, poor facilities, unkempt. We will happily drive straight past next time...

Sunday evening, 7pm, nothing available except M&S cold food, Costa and Burger King. Staff at BK were rude, inefficient and lazy. Bins were beyond overflowing and clearly hadn't been emptied for hours as people had been putting bags on the floor too. Tables hadn't been cleared for hours and no where for people to put trash. Took 28 minutes to get a double whopper, bacon king and chicken strips - then discovered after one bite that lettuce was all slimy and black - told young woman who said she couldn't replace as it had been eaten - moral - take it to bits to check it before you take a bite! Only one person in the queue ahead of me but the four staff were playing with the tills and chatting!

A bit tired, but fully functional service station. Choice of shops and eateries and coffee shops. Limited seating inside, only a few outdoor seats. Personally,.I would drive on up to Stafford services which is whole.lot nicer

Stopped off on way to Blackpool. Good choice of different food vendors for everybody. Good seating area. Expensive but so is every other services. Toilets clean.

Located on the M6 these are a small set of services heading north after battling through Birmingham so they're handy to stop off at after invariably sitting in some traffic queue! Costa here is reasonable as is Greggs (although the latter is set back around a corner so is not immediately obvious). Toilets are also OK.Standard motorway services really, but you can usually park closer to the entrance than many others.

We stopped here on our long drive back from Edinburgh based on the normal reliability of Costa for reasonable coffee at motorway services. Unfortunately this proved to be an exception as my ‘cortado’ proved to be just lukewarm and weak milky coffee.I’d recommend that you find an alternative if you are at all discerning.

Not stopped here before and won't again.Positives - the Costa staff were lovely, very welcoming, friendly and everything you would wish for.Now the rest - the building just looks very sad and overdue a major revamp - must be very hard to stay cheerful when you are constantly working in these surroundings. To the owners of this site..... if you want to witness a better services area - look further up the M6 to Teebay, or the M1 at Tibshelf or the A1M at Wetherby - they do exist but some operators just take us for granted and we should vote with our feet!

We ordered a large serving (9) mini pancakes and were only given 6. More pancakes were placed in the bag after my husband waited in line to complain, but all of them were cold and extremely tiny. I also looked at my large coffee by removing the lid to find that it was only half full, including the froth - so it was WELL below half full of coffee. We decided to go to Burger King as the other outlet in the service station was Costa which we thought would not have given good value, but every time we have been to a Costa we have had FAR better value that what we received at your Burger King. I do not recall having visited a Burger King previously, but will definitely not return to another one.The cost was way OTT as well - £7.57 for the 9 tiny pancakes (about an inch in diameter), an almost empty cup of coffee and a tea.

This is an excellent addition to service stops and ideal for Muslims who are obligated to pray, even when travelling. Only downside is the ablution water facilities are poor and no hand-drying facilities. Also no separate facilities for women.

Food nice and hot, staff friendly enough, clean too, better than many I've been to. Prices a bit higher than non motorway services. Girl taking order knew the menu without looking at it!!

Yuk. Poorly maintained, poorly designed, poorly run and poorly staffed and stocked. I pulled in here to get over the tedium of being stuck in a traffic jam. Thast was a mistake the traffic jam was better organised and presented.

We chose to have a cup of tea and coffee at Burger King as the outlet looked clean, but that didn't last long, the cashier took our money, £5.10 for two hot drinks!, and then proceeded to make our drinks, touching all around the rim of the cup and the lid, without washing her hands or putting on a pair of gloves, not very hygienic at all.

Food in the cafe had run out at 6.00pm. one person doing the cooking, taking money, taking orders, serving to the table. All without cleaning hands between jobs. Burning her hands on the serving lids and the hot plates. The washer up person when home at 6.30pm and all the manager could say was sorry.

I ordered a cheese burger meal with onion rings. The food was very hot and good quality. The Staff could be a bit more friendly when serving customers. My only complaint is that the prices are much higher than the high street restaurants. £10 for my order. so for a family it works out very expensive. Also you have to wait a long time to receive your food.

Stopped here for a break and was disappointed. The whole ambience was of a well used and run down place despite Cosat etc being there. The toilet facilities were rough and smelt when we were there.There is no other sercices close by before you get to Birminghame going south so you are stuck with this.It really does need some money spent on improving it. When a coach visited it it became overwhelmed and I hesitate to think what the Japanese tourist thought of it!Our coffee was fine (from Costa) but the seats were dirty. I would avoid if I could.

I do enjoy a good services stop with my children, even despite the inflated prices. Hilton Park badly needs a refit and the loos you can smell a mile off!Costa was good and the eating area clean. Greggs good value and a shame you see signs saying only for Costa or Burger King customers only. Surely you can have a sit down with your Greggs purchases? We did anyway

Cup of tea £2.65 (£1 in Chelmsford) Americano £2.82 (£2 in Chelmsford) Had a breakfast bar here. Wonder if they pay there staff more here. Enough said. #coulddobetter

Dated, Grubby and Dismal, even the M&S which you have to cross the bridge for is not up to standard and I didn’t even visit the toilets due to the small coming though the entrance,

I make a point of avoiding eating meals at service stations but made an exception, so as not to eat very late. For service food I was surprised with the meal being adequate, hot and fried eggs runny too!

Called in on Friday tea time, been here a few times and always found it a bit flustered, draughty, noisy, and so not as relaxed as Keele. So, Mr Hilton, go and research what makes Keele better then make the improvements and your customers will increase. Cheers.

Fairly quiet, because of the snow, so not as busy as usual. We were in a hurry so grabbed snacks from Greggs and coffee from Costa. Greggs fine, but Costa coffee tasted unpleasant afetr a few minutes.

Food is misrepresented by the advertising boards in the restaurant!Generally, we are fans of BurgerKing. However, what's happened to them?! Ordered two 'Double Bacon Cheeseburger XL' at almost £7 each. Floppy bread bun, clearly microwaved; two burgers, thinnest slice of cheese and two small, wafer thin pieces of bacon. No relish, no tomato sauce, no tomato, NOTHING! Really POOR and unnecessarily so. CLEARLY OUT TO RIP CUSTOMERS OFF! I will be writing to them about the food. The service was as usual speedy and courteous.

We stopped at Hilton Park Services (M6 Wolverhampton area) on our way home to Manchester from Southampton for a 40 minute comfort break. Plenty of choice for tea and coffee, after looking at one outlet and disregarding it because of the cashier/counter staffs attitude I noticed a Greggs outlet in the corner and that was to make my mind up. I purchased a chicken bake and some sausage rolls plus some coffee, well that was one of my better decisions as the service was top class and the food was simply great, so well done to Greggs a very enjoyable experience. To the management of Greggs a quick message, " I hope that you appreciate the staff that you have at this outlet because they are a bunch of gems each and everyone of them. Next time you stop for a comfort break at Hilton Park on the M6 pay a visit to Greggs . The man with the red beard.

Stopped here Southbound for the first time ever today, and I've driven past it 100s of times, but we needed to buy dinner. Strange parking layout. Had to walk upstairs to the loos, then up some more stairs and along some dingy corridors with stained brown carpets to the Northbound side to get to M&S. This was the only redeeming feature of the service station. Then the same in reverse to get back. It really needs knocking down and starting again. Two stars because Marks was good. Confusing traffic directions to get back onto the M6, one direction is signposted Northbound! Not good.

I’m a regular visitor at the service station. Recently had money situation, however due to staff and senior management could not ask for a better customer service.First of all, thanks to WH Smith staff, Marcus Jones who dealt with the enquiry and making the most of the situation. Also thanks to Adam who dealt with the second enquiry and went above then he should and thanks to Keely who served me today, with a great smile and very understanding the situation.All of above a BIG shout to Karen in customer services in head office. Karen if it wasn’t for you my problem would not be solved. Many thanks for understanding the situation over the phone and giving it all it takes. You guys probably get flooded every day with complaints and enquiries, however the service provided by yourself and the communication as well as the phone manner could not ask for more.See you guys soon

Not at all clean , rubbish bins overflowing. Ate at Burger King, service slow , took about 10 minutes to decide what I orderd wasn't ready and to offer an alternative. Try another services
