Absolutely fabulous, this is the best fried chicken you will ever have, moist, quality and succulent with a perfect crispy batter. Be prepared for the box full of fries with amazing chip spice, all served piping hot. Menu also has burgers,wraps,kids meals and even salads, so something for everyone. We were blown away with the quality.

Tried Hessle fried chicken after recommendation from friends, ordered 4 pieces of chicken with chips, food was freshly cooked, chicken pieces where good sized portions and succulent, chips where crispy with seasoning salt on. Would not hesitate to recommend this newest of Hessle eateries

Friendly staff, nice ambiance, good coffee, and a decent selection of cakes. Haven’t tried the breakfasts yet but will soon. As an improvement suggestion a warmer for the sausage rolls would be good. They’re pretty bland when served cold. Great idea to have inside parking for bikes.

Chapel Cottage Chapel LaneI have lived in the village for 20+ years and have always meant to visit this tea room. I did this March and had a breakfast which was delicious and very good value. The setting is small but well presented with China cups not mugs and the ladies very helpful, will go back
