Herbivorous in Manchester

Este es un lugar de comida chatarra vegana. La comida era extremadamente salada, incluso para los niveles estándar de salazón de los restaurantes. Mi esposa no pudo terminar su plato debido a los niveles de sal. Eso no quiere decir que no fuera sabroso, porque lo era, pero se sentía muy poco saludable y todos nos fuimos muy sedientos. Las costillas de barbacoa eran particularmente buenas.

Today we tried the ribs and philly cheese steak loaded fries from Herbivorous' Christmas Market stall and they were both absolutely delicious. We will definitely be making the journey to one of their permanent locations to try more! Thank you : )

after the untimely end of Zad's ordered from this place as it has been recommended a few times. Can't fault them - food was amazing and tasty! if you go to pick up yourself - you'll have to park a few minutes away. but well worth it.

Came here for lunch with friends and had loaded Mac and cheese! Absolutely amazing! So good I came back for dinner with vegan family visiting for dinner that evening! Served by Robin and cooked by Colia- who went above and beyond on a busy Friday evening. Lovely people and great to support a vegan small business!

Went in with moderate expectations. We'll that was blown away, vegan cheesy chips were superb, big kahuna burger delicious. Vibe is canteena, food is delicious.

My family and I were visiting our son who lives in Manchester and as a family of vegans, my son suggested Herbivorous. We ordered via Uber eats. The food was quite expensive for a takeaway, even with some items reduced, but most things are expensive now with costs rising. It arrived fairly quickly. The tastes were amazing and I really enjoyed what I had - although for some reason I seemed to luck out in the amount of seitan on top of the chips. I literally had a few small bits- no exaggeration- within the cashew cheese, whilst my son had a good sized portion as expected. He did try to donate some but I didn’t want to spoil his dinner as he was enjoying it. So that was disappointing. 9/10 for flavour and choice though - the menu is incredible- I think I got unlucky on this occasion with someone in a rush, and would consider trying again when back up that way.

All vegan, great burger and fries options and a couple of decent craft beers on the menu too. Ordered via the app in the Hatch (others in your party can buy from different vendors if they want to). The food came quickly, delivered to the table and was tasty. Nice paprika fries and a chick'n fillet burger with southern style crispy coating.

Awesome food. Big Kahuna burgers and chips amazing. Good beer and puds as well. Friendly service. Still smiling a day on.

Discovered Herbivorous on the Abillion App whilst looking for some proper vegan scran in the Manchester area following a trip from Staffordshire. Please note, this review concerns the recently opened Withington restaurant and my visit on 29 October 2021. You walk in and the vibe is just so chilled, relaxing and welcoming. Great, friendly staff and just a wonderful atmosphere. I had the Big Kahuna Burger and, oh my goodness, I think I made my O face after the first bite. What a combination of flavours and that signature Cashew Cheese sauce was absolutely incredible. I've never had a pineapple ring on a burger before but this is a game changer. I can't think of an adequate superlative to describe the entire experience but I know one thing for certain, I'll be returning and trying that ENTIRE menu (maybe even all at once). Thank you to the wonderful staff at your Withington restaurant who made me feel incredibly welcome. I'll be back.

We went to the new restaurant in Withington. Its my first experience of Herbivorous, I absolutely loved it. The food was amazing, very tasty! The service was also lovely! Definitely going back soon

Properly great, fresh, tasty food. Good location, but would travel for such a good product. Fantastic customer service.

My partner and I visited the Hatch to have dinner before going out to a gig. We had the “chicken” burger and the Big Kahuna burger (you choose the type of fries that come with it). We have been vegan for several years but were blown away by how good the food was. The BEST vegan junk food we’ve ever had, the “chicken” burger being especially good! Not only that, the prices were really reasonable, the staff friendly, and there is loads of seating available at the Hatch. Can’t recommend highly enough - will definitely be coming back the next time we’re in Manchester!

We had such a lovely time at herbivorous at Hatch. Excellent service, fab vegan food, not necessarily the one for anybody wanting to lose weight but it was delicious. Reasonably priced and excellent service, would fully recommend.

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of sampling the ‘chicken’ burgers and loaded fries for lunch this week. The food was cooked to perfection, so tasty and really hit the spot with our Monday hangovers. The service was so warm and friendly and Hanna truly believed in the products and in delivering excellent customer service. Cannot recommend this little gem enough! 💗

We got the Big Kahuna Burger and the Buffalo Chicken on Cheesy Fries, and both were fantastic. The burger sauce and cheese were a very nice combo, the patty was delicious, and the pineapple was a great touch. Burgers don't always come together this well, was very impressed. The fries were also nice, and definitely good value as an add-on. I really enjoyed the Buffalo chicken. My partner also enjoyed them, but found the pieces a bit sweet, but I liked them a lot. We both agreed the cheesy fries were delicious. Definitely a cut above the run-of-the-mill burger and fries. Will definitely come again.

Truly tasty vegan nosh, really friendly staff. The burger is immense, looking forward to trying the 'duck' next time
