Hellenic Grill in Haringey

While the food here was good, the haphazard service really left us disappointed and with a negative impression of Ousia. The wrong drinks were brought to the table, the server who took our order came back repeatedly to confirm our order which made us feel she wasn't listening, "specials" were substituted with no attempt to communicate items which were "sold out" and various dishes were brought out with no explanation. While I understand the concept of "small plates" and that often they are served as ready it really was not acceptable that there was a twenty minute gap in which only one member of our party had any food. The salad that was ordered as a side to the mains appeared as a starter, two types of courgette starters were brought fifteen minutes apart-it just seemed disorganized and given the conversation at other tables were were not alone. We were excited to discover Ousia and looking forward to a dinner with friends but were unfortunately let down by a general sense of lack of care. The staff were friendly but just insufficiently attentive.

Mums Bistro is the most perfect place. It provided the best birthday party I have ever had. My children and grandchildren, shared my enjoyment of the fabulous music and live singing by the resident musician, as well as partaking themselves in karaoke and dancing. Endless delicious mediterranean dishes culminated three hours later with the exquisite birthday cake. I would recommend Mums Bistro for all ages, for parties, or simply a delicious meal out. My heartfelt thanks to my son who found the restaurant and my family who participted and conributed to the best birthday party I ever had!

Troodos is no more as it has closed for business. Shame as it used to be very busy in the late 90's to the noughties. The couple who ran it were very nice and its a shame that they have now gone out of business.

Great takeaway kebabs. Consistent quality every time we visit, my personal favourite is Chicken shish and Sheftalia mixed Kebab. I feel hungry writing this. Mmmm

Food ok, but the restaurant is too small and not comfortable, food can't fit to the table properly and on Saturday evening it was too noisy as the room is too small. No changing facilities so I had to change my baby on bathroom floor. Overall it wasn't the best dining experience.
