Absolutely lovely place in Haymarket ! Since the cafe opened we’ve been going for Sunday lunches and brunches. From the moment you go in, the owners welcome you and get you seated and you feel looked after. The food is wonderful and you can see it’s freshly made behind the counter. The coffee is lovely and they offer lots of gluten free and other cakes that are often home baked ! They also are dog friendly and adore dogs, have treats for them and water bowls . The place Loui and Greg (owners) created is a little community where customers come back regularly and chat. Absolute gem in Edinburgh. Defo must go when in Edinburgh!

¡Qué joya! Llegamos accidentalmente a Edimburgo durante la temporada de festivales, pero por suerte nos quedamos fuera del intenso ajetreo. Este pequeño restaurante en nuestro barrio era un oasis de buena comida y buen servicio proporcionado por un personal amable y eficiente. Lo hacen todo en un ambiente cómodo y fácil. Comimos allí varias veces y la comida siempre estaba recién hecha y deliciosa. El café era excelente!

Una prueba obligada en Haymarket! La comida es excelente y delicioso. Grandes porciones, buena presentación de comida. Satisfizo mis antojos, especialmente el Ube Iced latte y Ube cake! ¡El salmón ahumado con queso crema también es mi favorito! Dueños encantadores. Sin duda recomendable!

Beautiful place, nice atmosphere and best cakes! Really good food selection. I definitely recommend this place. I’m looking forward to try more things from menu :)

It was such a lovely discovery that we had breakfast there every morning of our stay. Delicious scones, granola and croissants. Warm and friendly welcome.

This café is an absolute gem and would thoroughly recommend for a delicious breakfast. There is a good choice with food freshly prepared and well presented. Staff are polite, efficient and welcoming. We went back every morning during our stay in Edinburgh.

They have an amazing range of desserts and cakes and they even have delicious vegan cakes and brownie! There mango smoothie is a must it is divine! The staff are really kind and are lovely they are always amicable.

Privately owned cafes bring their own touch to the otherwise bland landscape of corporate cafes, and this one is quite special. Their Philippines inspired self-made cakes are just delicious, the portions very generous, and the coffee itself is brewed with attention to detail. Couldn't recommend this cafe more.

Popped in for bacon rolls after coming off the train. So convenient and we were met by a cheerful friendly server and shown to table. We enjoyed very good coffee and high quality green tea (no bags, proper leaf tea). Bacon rolls were great and cooked to order. Will definitely return and support this small business.

Delightful cafe! Ordered the waffles with berries and avocado toast. Bacon was crispy and perfect. Staff was so kind and friendly- very accommodating of our allergies. Cafe is clean and well decorated. Highly recommend!

This cafe is a must-visit for my husband and me, as we're big coffee fans. We stumbled upon it while exploring coffee shops around Haymarket and were immediately intrigued by its cozy atmosphere. The staff or owner, who are incredibly lovely, also bake some delicious cakes. My husband was particularly impressed by how well they were baked. We'll definitely be returning soon!

This place is amazing! It's perfect if you have any dietary requirements. All their gorgeous coffees can be made dairy free and they have a massive choice. Delicious food, friendly staff and a great atmosphere.

Brilliant food portion sizes were considerable and excellent value for money, fantastic service will be back again this week.

We had a weekend away and used this cafe twice for breakfast. Both owners were very friendly and a good choice of fresh tasty food all at very reasonable prices. Really nice ambience, would highly recommend

Warm welcome, elegant decor, delicious food and impeccable service. An absolute gem of a place right opposite the station, with a menu both comfortably traditional but also with individual flair. Decently priced too!

Mark and Gregory are such good hosts the food is superb and prices very reasonable come in and enjoy the hospitality and good food

This cafe has been the go-to place every time I’m in Edinburgh ever since I tried the UBE cake for the first time a few months ago. Outstanding customer service is what every cafe/restaurant should aim to replicate; everyone is made to feel like a friend rather than a customer, which is a unique vibe. I really can’t sing the praises of this cafe enough. It's a really great place to eat, relax and spend time.

Stumbled upon this wee place on our way to another for lunch! It looked lovely so decided to give it a try. Excellent homemade soup, pulled pork toastie and topped off with some gluten free carrot cake. Very clean, delicious food, excellent service. Well worth a visit 😃

Absolutely fantastic little coffee shop. So friendly and and welcoming the owners make all the cakes which are to die for. This is definitely worth a visit relaxing and great atmosphere and lovely food.x

We found this cute café by accident on the first day of our 5-day vacation, and we immediately decided that we would return to this spot! Eventually, we had breakfast there several times, and each day we were positively surprised. It is clear that the owners, Louis and Graig, know how to run a café very well, and they offer a great variety of drinks, toast, pancakes, pastries, croissants, sandwiches, yoghurt and English breakfast rolls. And everything is freshly made! I would argue that the meals are definitely worth its price, and maybe even more than that. It is a small café and its interior is minimalistic, yet cosy. Haymarket by L&G is by far the best place around on West End/Haymarket to start your day with, or to get a good lunch! Finally, I would like to thank Louis and Graig for their hospitality and their genuine kindness! If we ever return to Edinburgh, we will surely come visit you again! :)

We came yesterday to this delightful cafe and it was awesome. We were 4 adults and 2 small children. The two people running the cafe were both so friendly, helpful and lovely. They couldn't have been nicer! I had a pistachio croissant which I'd never had before and it was soooo tasty. Will def be having that again! My husband had the salmon salad and said it was the best salad he had had. My auntie had the granola and my uncle got avocado toast which they both really enjoyed. My 2 children shared a bacon and sausage roll which they loved then they obviously had room for cake! My wee boy for a delicious chocolate orange cake that was super moist and yummy. My wee girl chose the most purple coloured cake I've sever seen. It was a purple yam cake and oh my goodness it was delicious. Super light too. We felt very welcomed here and it's a fantastic location right beside Haymarket station. We will absolutely be back 🙌

First time here and it was excellent. Good selection of food and drink on offer and incredibly friendly service. Easy to find, just across from Haymarket Station. I went with family (including two young children and vegetarian husband) and everyone was happy with their food. We had brunch and then some cakes.

We were staying close by and ended up eating breakfast 2 mornings on the run . I cannot recommend more highly this lovely little cafe . The friendliest owners . Lovely menu , drinks , just perfect First morning we had the lovely granola with yogurt and fresh fruit. Second morning avocado on toast with seeds and pomegranate. Both were so tasty and well presented If we lived in Haymarket , we would visit every day 100% recommend this delightful cafe and cannot wait to return
