Somewhat old-fashioned local pub. Popular with locals and football fans when matches are being shown. No food served.Small toilet areas. Pleasant staff. Recent repainting and refurbishment of seating. Still the same. Recently increased prices of pints but all pubs are doing the same. Various spirits and cocktails available. Has a Juke box used by small number of clients. Still popular with many different regulars at different times of the day. No changes other than recent price increases. Continues to be a slightly cheaper pub than others in the area

Not a bad wee pub. Very much geared towards TV sports as are most pubs nowadays. It does have its quiet times but there's always a good mix of people when it's busy and the bar staff are always on the ball.

A staff member behind the bar with a few piercings (chocker) and her friend who was drinking with someone who has a Guinness (shagy grey hair) were constantly looking over, pointing and laughing at me for no reason as well as behind their backs making fun (rude gestures) of others in the bar. They also didn’t ID someone who looked like he should have been enjoying the school holidays who had an alcohol drink without asking for his Identification. Please avoid this place unless you are a regular.

Really like it here, very smart & chilled. But is it so necessary to have football on so loud ?? Can barely hear anything else. No problem with it being on tv but the sound doesn't need to be there. Like The Potting Shed or Everybody's? It def spoils it & it will definitely lose custom. Amazingly not everyone actually likes football !!

Friendly pub, comfortable interior and well looked after cellar. Staff always obliging and efficient. Beer and spirits served at very reasonable prices and extras like a cup of home made soup on cold days are offered regularly.

only a friendly pub if you are a regular, dropped into this bar to watch rugby and have a few drinks with my wife this evening.The barman came round with snacks offering to regulars totally ignoring us. Its not the fact that I wanted anything just the point that you are treated as an outsider. A pub to be missed if looking for a friendly welcome.
