Harrys Soul Station in Norwich

This was my first visit to Harry's Soul Station and I have to say it was lovely. Food was great and not too pricey. Waitress was very attentive and chatty. Was concerned whether i would find a parking place nearby, but as it was fairly quiet i found a car park space quite easily. Nice old pub decor and atmosphere. Would definitely re-visit.

Came on a busy Friday night, food took about 40 mins to come out which was understandable, due to the lack of staff there. Service was ok, seated promptly but had to flag down people if you want an extra drink or a refill/ new drink. Quite expensive overall, and I don’t think I’ll be back unfortunately as the service didn’t quite match up to the pricing.

Went in here on a Saturday with a group of about 14 people, my wife had the full breakfast and I had the stacked pancakes with eggs bacon sausage hash browns and maple syrup, I asked the waitress for plenty of syrup being used to eating similar in Florida, she joked that they had had a bad review because of too much syrup, well mine was swimming in the stuff and like the pancakes it was PERFECT, think they had been watching the housekeeper on father Ted as she kept bringing MORE TEA LOL it’s tucked away of the beaten track but well worth looking for.😋

Fairly new to the area and searched "breakfast" and are so glad we chose here. Food was brill and the staff were lovely - squeezed us in on a busy Sunday morning although we hadn't booked. First visit, will not be our last ☺️ If I had one comment, and this is personal preference, it would be that I would prefer sliced avocado over mashed on the hash browns ☺️ But it still tasted wonderful ☺️

Amazing food. Loved a choice of gluten free, veggie options. Nicest veggie chilli I’ve ever had. Calm atmosphere. Excellent service.

What a wonderful cafe. Great breakfast, proper pot of tea. Lovely staff, helpful and friendly.

Absolutely incredible experience. Was our first time trying and as a family will definitely be returning. We were so impressed with the choice of gluten free options on the menu. My little girl was incredibly happy that she was able to have chicken strips instead of the usual cheeseburger as that's all a lot of places offer for gluten free on the kids menu. They were incredibly good too that when she had finished she was sad there wasn't more so we asked if we could order more as a side she was so happy. The food, atmosphere and service was all 10/10. Don't have any complaints at all. Definitely a hidden gem and I wish I knew about this place sooner.

We've visited twice now, first for dinner based on the GF selection and my days, what a selection there is. Only 2 or 3 things on the menu were not suitable for GF which is unheard of in our experience. Food was great, service was fab and live music provided by a singer and keyboard was a wonderful touch. Point knocked off for the second time we visited and had breakfast, two lots of pancakes took over 40 minutes despite only about 8 covers in. Think we may have been forgotten as these arrived quickly after spotting someone who came in after us get their food and mentioning this to the server. But when the pancakes did come they were excellent.

Harry's Soul has gone to meet musical souls in my own way to Harry's mind if you want to come on my life

Awesome! Really good food very difficult to single out any one dish. The tacos were super, as were the belly pork bites. Service really came with a smile and the kids were well catered for. Thank you.

Staff were very friendly and accomodating to our late booking request and food was lush as Arnie says I'll be back 😋

Fantastic night out, really good music, fresh and tasty food, friendly service, will be back to experience different acts on Fri nights, also the best breakfast I've ever had .

We happened on Harry's by accident. Best accident ever, cannot recommend enough. Fabulous in every way.

We had our second visit to Harry’s today and was not disappointed! I discovered this gem while searching for GF options for my sister in law; they had so many choices so it’s great they cater for intolerances. The pulled pork and bites were delicious on our first visit and had the breakfast burger today. Wow. To top it off, great customer service! Will definitely be returning!

Great selection of real hearty food...plenty of choice.

7 of us (4 adults, 3 children) booked for breakfast. Fabulous environment and extremely welcoming staff. The food was utterly delicious and my daughter in law (who is gluten intolerant) had the fabulous experience of so much to chose from - this never happens! The board games are a lovely touch and we can't wait to return - thank you 😊

I hadn't eaten chicken in 12 years, and on a whim after being tempted by some friends I tried the Spicy Chicken wings. I have been converted, they were absolutely delicious

Food was delicious, the staff was lovely, the food did take a while, but well worth the wait. Everything was yummy and affordable, definitely coming again xx

Really nice. My friend had two proper full plates I had one. The Kentucky stack is very nice. Addendum to this. Wings wednesday is great. Unlimited wings on wednesday for a very reasonable price.

My chicken burger was massive double chicken breast with coating on. They were a bit dry but was tasty 😋 great atmosphere we had a family of 9 they were amazing with getting everything out on the table at the same time. Is a small place. Need to book

We have just moved into this area , and heard so many things of this place , and it wasn't disappointing so much it was far beyond that and beyound. We walked in and didn't pre book so didn't know what to expect and was seen to straight away for a table for two sat down and our order was taken, such a relaxed area so don't worry if your order is taken time it's all fine and worth it believe me. Highly recommended and we will be definitely go back.

My first visit but can't wait to go again, service, atmosphere and food were all amazing and really thorough with allergies too.

Lovely breakfast there yesterday ace!

Our first visit was last week, and we were immediately greeted at the door and taken to our table in what I’d imagine a restaurant in southern USA might look like, the decor I thought was excellent and I thought made you feel like you were miles away. Despite the busy night, everything was perfectly timed and the staff were attentive. The chilled entertainment and tasty food were just right for me and my partner, the long overdue date night we needed! No permit required to park here, and we found it easy to find a space! At first, we thought it was pricey, but we were pleasantly surprised. The combination of the live music, excellent food, and top-notch service made it great value for money and we will certainly return. The menu offers a huge variety, and we saw many tempting dishes being served around us. We chose the kimchi chicken burger and the brisket chilli – both were incredible in quality and quantity. The only suggestion for improvement would be to offer a draft beer, which might have encouraged us to stay longer and spend more. Fortunately, there's a fantastic pub just a stone's throw away, so we didn't have to go far to get our fix! Thank you! Hope to see you again soon.

Delicious food, lots of choice, very friendly service.

I've been to Harry's a few times now so thought I'd write little a review! The first few times I've been have been for the incredible unlimited wings Wednesday. They're the best wings in the city if you ask me! Soo much variety in the flavours, there's definitely something for everyone (plus they change them up). I've tried wing Wednesday's at a much more well known bigger establishment in the city and I can say don't bother and come here where it's done properly. I've also come for an evening meal from the normal menu. The burgers are amazing! Proper big portions and proper good food. You really can't go wrong. Plus the atmosphere and vibe of the place is great! Breakfast is next on the list to try!

Always look forward going there great place ,great food and service

Decent food no question. But sat outside & that killed it a bit. Appreciate they don’t have much room inside but sitting in the marquee type tent with no music or atmosphere & was a bit soulless & rather sad. It’s the same price whether you sit in or out but definitely a lesser experience outside. Sorry but wouldn’t return if we couldn’t eat inside.

My friend and I met up at Harry's soul station for a meal today with our girls. My friend has been there plenty of times but it was my first time. The food was good, but extremely overpriced and the portions were small. The waitress, Donna wasn't very friendly. When we were leaving, she walked up to us as we stepped out and really rudely said, "Well, do you plan on picking up the toys or do you plan on leaving them scattered on the floor". Our little girls and us were quite taken aback. There was absolutely no reason for her to speak to us like that in front of all the customers. There were two pieces of Jenga on the floor and four on the table. The rest were in the box. I fail to understand what was the reason for her behaviour. It has left a sour taste in our mouth and we will not be going back there again. It is a real shame as it was a really nice cafe. It's not hard to just be kind.

Simply incredible food whether you are dairy or gluten intolerant or not. Everything on the menu csn be adjusted to suit you. Amazing service. Safe place to eat. Delicious food everytime. Would 1000% recommend.

What a little gem of a place Harry’s Soul Station is! Small, intimate, atmospheric, with delicious food and live swing jazz music, we had a lovely evening! The ribs were beyond melt-in-the mouth, the burnt ends so full of flavour, and the cocktails to die for! Try the Margaritas in the Himalayan salt rimmed glass. A great family business, you can feel the love for what they do. Every neighbourhood should have a Harry’s Soul Station ❤️

Wonderful breakfast and delicious food (tacos are a must!). Plus, they work hand in hand with the Fat Cat to serve some of the best beer in Norfolk. Welcoming staff, live shows and local artists complete the lovely, fun atmosphere.

Fantastic food, great service, clean facilities and great atmosphere

Incredibly saddened at what I witnessed a few weeks ago. Came here for a late lunch on a Wednesday and a young lass came in dressed smart that approached the 'owner' to ask about leaving some leaflets about the local pharmacy next door, the entire attitude of said 'owner' shocked both me and my family upon overhearing this. The owner was very abrupt and rude to this poor young woman. Absolutely no need to be so atrocious. When the girl mentioned that it had been OK to leave leaflets previously the 'owner' bellowed "Well I am the owner so my decision is final". Myself and my family were shocked at hearing her throwing her weight around like that. I truly felt for the poor girl that simply politely asked to leave some leaflets promoting a Pharmacy which promotes health. Have been coming to this restaurant for a while with family, friends etc but after this day I have shared the shocking incident with all that have joined me at what I thought was genuinely a nice and kind local family run business. You have lost a number of loyal customers due to this behaviour we witnessed. It seems that you are only kind when you are getting money from the local community and are not happy to help the local community or even be kind to them. Very disappointed and will not return again.

We use Harry's all the time for breakfast and brunch. All the staff are great and very friendly. It's an area hub for all. Give it a try, and you will not be disappointed.

Lovely experience, staff so inviting and friendly, happy to answer any questions we had, fully accommodating to dietary needs, and stated it was easier to say what we couldn't have instead of listing the things we could have. We are a family of coeliacs with no reactions in any of our visits. They're safe and know what they're doing there. It's so lovely to just enjoy the experience instead of the usual anxiety you get when eating out elsewhere.

Having a singer in the restaurant made such a good atmosphere. Why are singers in restaurants not a thing? and it was the best BBQ food I have had in a long time! Great experience

We have visited Harry's many times both as a couple and in a larger group. Always impressed by the excellent series and really tasty food 😋 Rack of ribs on outstanding. Best in Norwich. Chicken wings on "Wings Wednesday" ate great fun and really tasty. Highly recommended

We visited on mother's day for a lovely brunch before heading on my long trip back to South wales . My daughter is in university and had looked into places to eat whilst I was visiting and your establishment came up ....just wow !! We ordered a southern breakfast , avo hash and pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, because we wanted to try every thing . Just wow guys it was absolutely amazing...tge corn bread was something new to me and was do delicious...eyes bigger than belly comes to mind and the pancakes came home with me and I enjoyed them during my drive. I would definitely return and I know my daughter is planning a return visit with her boyfriend

AMAZING food! BBQ rack of ribs are the best I have ever eaten, and I'm fussy with ribs. Been twice now and both times have been exceptional. Lovely relaxed and warm atmosphere. Lovely staff! Parking is the only slight issue, so just allow plenty of time to find a space nearby.

Never usually leave a review anywhere, but just had to leave one for the HSS team. Not only is the food delicious, well priced, and comes in MASSIVE portions, the staff take such good care of you too - especially if you're gluten free. We love it here, can't wait to come back for dinner. ♥️

I wish I could give slightly more than 4 stars but they're only round numbers of stars. The only issue was that there was not very much food for the price in my opinion. The Kimchi Chook burger was quite small for nearly £18 and there was only a small handful of chips and a tablespoon size amount of coleslaw. Everything tasted really nice and I had no trouble finishing every last bite, but I was surprised how small the portions were. The servers were lovely and very attentive. They were flexible about the table booking which was really kind. I also was able to park nearby outside with the free on street parking, but I got very lucky to find a space as the street was otherwise full.

Get the southern breakfast, it'll change your life...

Can't recommend this place enough. My favourite place for breakfast. Super friendly staff and a very comfortable, delightfully decorated establishment. Local art pieces for sale too. And if you can't make breakfast, you won't be disappointed with their smashed burgers, wings and the best ribs in town. Advance booking recommended. Take away also available.

Another wonderful visit to Harry's for a fantastic weekend breakfast. Hard to beat this place for quality food in a relaxed atmosphere. So good we've booked again for this weekend.

Wow, we have just been for a breakfast here & it was lovely! I cannot fault the place, lovely home cooked tasty food, friendly staff and very reasonably priced. We went in a large group, 6 adults, 3 toddlers and a dog. The staff were particularly good with the children, allowing them to play with all the games which kept them very happy. We will definitely be returning very soon, a firm new favourite for sure. A special mention to Donna who was very welcoming & friendly :)

Even though I only live 2 minutes away, I'd still visit Harry's if I lived 20 minutes away. Love coming for a quick coffee or a nice breakfast/lunch. The staff are always really friendly and welcoming and the food is always cooked to perfection.

Had an excellent breakfast this morning at Harry's Soul Station. Southern Breakfast for the record. My friend had the full English which got the thumbs up. Really good quality food, much enjoyed.

Really lovely place. Only popped in for a beer originally but ended up getting some food that was really excellent. Beer and coffee was fantastic too and super friendly staff.

Had a lovely time here Wednesday evening! The unlimited wings for £15 were delicious and came out in a timely manner. The service was brilliant. We were served by a lady I believe called Janie. She mentioned it was her second day. She was diligent and ensured we had enough napkins throughout the evening as wings can be messy. Overall a great experience and will 100% be coming back! :)

As a coeliac I’ve always felt looked after in Norwich over the past 12 years of visiting for work, but I’ve found a new Gem! Coeliac or not this place is awesome, really helpful friendly staff, and the food is absolutely incredible! I had the added bonus of some live folk music which was ace. Please visit. Had main and two drink so plus a worthy tip indeed £40 was excellent.
