Happy Valley in Belfast

Food and staff all brilliant, however atmosphere is awful. Not even any background music, just the constant sound of phones ringing. Which would be okay if there was some music to help cover the sound. Unsure if I would return unless they fixed this issue .

Food nice but staff all unfriendly and grouped together at rear of restaurant and none wearing masks nor using any hand clearers. Basically covid non compliant throughout.

Fancied a chinese takeaway and called in person to order. Expected to wait 15-20 minutes but after 50 minutes I enquired about the delay and the woman on the desk glibly remarked that "perhaps your order has been overlooked" and offered to check it out!. Earlier whilst I was waiting another customer had his order snatched by another customer who was clearly so frustrated with the wait that he took any order than was offered leaving the actual customer who ordered really upset! There is no management structure behind the scenes, four delivery drivers come and go with orders whilst the "walk-ins" are treated with distain! After 55 minutes my order came, it was luke warm but at that stage I was so grateful just to get away. I will actively avoid this dreadful establishment as standards have plumeted from what they used to be yet prices remain high!

First time visit, very good food and comes in generous portions, service was great and the lady with blonde hair served us was very friendly.

Good tasty dishes and portions are plentiful. Lots of choice on menu. Atmosphere is good and staff are very friendly. Have eaten here quite a few times and never been disappoInted.

We really enjoyed it last week (Christmas week) at this busy Chinese restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was great! We ordered a few starters and main courses to share and it was delicious. The portion itself is very generous for a quite a few of us. We would highly recommend this place.

Having recently moved to Comber, and lovers of Chinese food, we decidied to try Happy Valley, as it was recommended to us. We were pleasantly surprised to find the best Chinese food we've ever had in Northern Ireland. We ordered take away, and everything was ready in a timely fashion and was fresh, hot and delicious! My wife had sweet rolls for a starter and sweet and sour chicken balls for her main. I had sweet corn and chicken soup for a starter and pork chow mein for my main. Everything was delicious! We have since gone back and eaten in and also found this to be an enjoyable expoerience. The service is excellent, and the dining area is very comfortable. This is an eat in restaurant that also does take away, not a take away restaurant with a couple of cheap tables thrown in. I have also tried their cream of mushroom soup (hardly a Chinese dish) and found it to be scrumptious! My wife has had the curry chicken and loved that dish also. We will be back to this locally owned and operated restaurant often!

One of the most disgusting meals I have ever eaten Honey chilli chicken that was like rubber and no taste not all breast meat. chicken fried rice was mixed white and brown meats with fried rice no veg bland and gross! Chips were half black. Overall a bad meal and feel very disappointed £17 later!
