Visited near closing on a Friday evening with a large family order after a long drive up. Service was excellent, large portions and the fish was massive and the batter lovely and crispy. The complimentary dinosaur donuts and deep fried oreos went down a treat too. Definitely recommended and great value for money

Great local chipper trying to innovate and offer new things. Great service with very friendly staff. Amazing chips with fantastic homemade crisps which was a new for me but would highly recommend. Had the chance to try a fresh donut and I was very impressed

Between the banter and the food it's the best chip shop I've been to, perfect chips and a crispy king rib. The battered cookies are a must, burnt my mouth in all the best ways 🤤

Tasty, and plenty of it! I visited the Happy Haddock while staying with family in Macduff. This is a proper fish and chip shop with everything you'd want from a chipper in Scotland. We ordered plenty of food - everything was tasty, well-cooked and the portions were generous, to say the least. The staff are friendly and the food is a good price, especially when you see how much of it you get. Menu highlights include the irn bru chicken, battered pigs in blankets, and of course the local haddock! Can't recommend highly enough and you must visit for your chippy tea when in Macduff.

We visited this Cafe after a long walk in the forest. Dogs are welcome inside the cafe. Inside there is a log burning stove, which was very welcome, the cafe had a nice rustic feel they do there own baking and my wife described the scone as the best she had. The coffee was lovely. We had visited the Cafe at the Cheese makers across the road which was very nice but had to sit outside with the dog. We will certainly be back here, probably for a lunch next time.
